This was my first and only stay at a ryokan so I don’t have much to compare it to. I chose this lodging because of the cats and good reviews on the food. The cats were really sweet and I enjoyed playing with them. I have 2 cats of my own so it was really nice. The food was so beautiful and delicious - the mushroom soup at dinner was amazing. I really enjoyed it. The private bath rooms were very convenient and open 24 hrs. I thought the facilities were clean and very pleasant. The location was very close to the central area and a quick walk to all the important sites including the bus station. The only comment I have was in the morning someone was smoking and the smell got ****** into the 2nd floor hallway so maybe more care should be taken to be sure the smoke stays outside. The host was so nice and sweet and I used google translate to ask questions. The matcha madeleines are so tasty I bought a box to take with me.

It was better than any other inn I've stayed at so far. The futons were fluffy, the bathroom was clean, and the breakfast was full of vegetables. It was the best inn. I was surprised more than anything by how nice the people were.

Wow this place is INCREDIBLE I have no idea how it doesn't have SO many more reviews. This ryokan has literally the sweetest people, absolutely beautiful onsens, and YUMMY food. The room itself is very spacious and has it's own private view into a garden, and it has it's own A/C unit you can use - it's also very clean and included a full set of teas and snacks. The shared outdoor and indoor onsens are absolutely gorgeous, and overlook mountains in the distance. I went to 10+ onsens in Japan and this was the best hands down - beautiful with those mountain views, and extremely clean. The food was also so delicious, and I felt stuffed after every breakfast and dinner. I super highly recommend this place!

The room facilities are a bit old. But because it is close to the station, it only takes 6-7 minutes to walk and it is very cheap. It's okay to stay for one night After checking out. Because the luggage has been stored in the hotel. It's raining heavily again. So I asked the hotel to borrow an umbrella. It rained all day and I went back to get my luggage at night. My mother-in-law is very nice. She gave me the umbrella (but I didn’t want it). She is really considerate❤️

The dishes are ok, and the breakfast is a bit disappointing. It is all carbon water, and the hot spring eggs are not. The geographical location is an extra point. This town has many mountain roads. His home is a 1-minute walk from the bus station, and it will not be very tired to go up and down, let alone ask the hotel to drive to pick it up. According to these circumstances, it is okay to give 4 points, but I don't recommend everyone to live, because this house has hidden charges, and in winter it will charge 500 warm house fee and 150 hot spring water tax. There is no mention on the booking page. If the hot spring tax is not unfamiliar to people who frequent Japan, what is called the warm house fee is very strange. Communicate with the store. They showed me their official website, which means that there is a statement. I said that I didn't set it on the official website. I have no way of knowing it. I prefer to believe that the owner ’s idea is pure and not intentional, but doing business is very frustrating. No wonder it takes up such a good position and does not renovate. Similar hotels that have been renovated next door can sell twice as much. Of course, the result of the matter itself is still good. This hidden charge problem was later subsidized to me by Ctrip. I praised Ctrip customer service and dealt with it in a particularly efficient and professional manner. The reasons for not recommending are: 1. Difficulty in communication. I went to the next few places and visited. Although the English is not fluent, it is obviously much better. There are local characteristics (I changed to the hotel the next day); 3. In addition to the so-called warm house fee, his family's original price advantage of only three or fifty rmb will no longer exist, and you can choose the same price slightly more expensive, Choose the few hotels, the single room price is also in this grade, but the conditions are much better, anyway, this one also experiences impenetrable Japanese feeling, if you really want to experience Japanese feeling, you can choose a hotel above 1500rmb.

The location was excellent, just a two-minute walk from the Yubatake hot spring source. The staff were very polite and the entire inn, including the rooms, was very clean. The parking lot was a few minutes' walk away, and they kindly allowed us to leave our car there until noon on our last day, which was a great help. The bath was open 24 hours a day, and although it wasn't particularly large, when I went (Saturday night and Sunday morning), there was no one else there, so I had it all to myself, and the hot spring water from the Yubatake source was wonderful. I would like to stay here again.

Wow! What a wonderful place, and wonderful people! I loved the view of the green rice fields out of my window, with a beautiful mountainous background. My room was great, clean and organized, had everything I needed. Location wise it takes about 10-15 minutes to get to the train station or to a nearby seven eleven. The train schedule is quite sparse, so time it correctly. (Or rent a car, would be the easiest) The hosts were extremely nice! Helped me in any way they could’ve for example in my checkout day, it was raining heavily so they gave me a ride to the station.

A little old but solid building with facilities. Originally for national public servants? I stayed as a visitor at the facility. It may be unavoidable because it is a visitor, but the meal was a room meal. The food was very delicious. We recommend a small family bath next to the large communal bath. Maybe it's a free-flowing bath.

I didn't realize it because I went by car, but Shibukawa Station is right nearby! There's also a convenience store nearby and a ramen place right next to the hotel that's open late! First of all, the hotel staff were so kind! One thing that was really disappointing... ㅠ It's not very clean.. The remote control fell under the bed, so I turned on the flashlight on my phone and checked, and it was so dusty that it looked like the vacuum cleaner hadn't been used in years, so I spent 2 nights without the remote control... ㅋㅋㅋ The blanket was also really old.. Other than that, everything was great!
