Very nice and clean house. I recommend it 100%, I've never seen people so attentive and friendly, the dormitories, mattresses and sanitary facilities are in very good condition and clean. Thank you very much. 

In terms of price/performance ratio, it is great value! highly recommended! The boss is a young man, he is enthusiastic, and his English is very good. My English is very poor. The boss also taught me to use WeChat translator to communicate! I booked it for two days, because I didn't understand a lot when I first arrived in Sri Lanka, so I always troubled the boss on WeChat at any time. The boss also helped me see through the calling card traffic scam. It is really good that the boss is patient! Fortunately, I have chosen his home many times. In the morning, I also asked you the choice of breakfast food for the next day, very carefully. The environment is at the level of a domestic roadside hotel, but the service is at the level of a five-star hotel. There is air-conditioning, a fan, the bath water is hot enough, and the toilet, bath, and face are separated! When I left, I called us a tutu car, the price was so cheap!

=====2025-11-10~11===== The Carnation Rest, located in Nuwara Eliya, Central Province, is essentially a guesthouse or B/B. Situated on the outskirts of town, it's surrounded by other hotels and guesthouses, as well as supermarkets and shops, giving it a more vibrant and lively atmosphere. Our room was a suite on the second floor of a villa along the street, with one large (1.5 meters) bed and one small (1 meter) bed. The room was fairly well-equipped, without air conditioning (the temperature is only 10-20 degrees Celsius here due to the higher elevation, so it's unnecessary), but it had a water heater and a hairdryer. The suite's living room had tableware and a sofa. The room was a bit old, but the amenities seemed clean and hygienic. The bed was comfortable, and of course, there were no toiletries like toothbrush, toothpaste, comb, or slippers (which I'm quite used to). The guesthouse staff (who are also the owners) were several very nice and handsome young men, extremely friendly. We found no decent restaurants nearby, but there was a large supermarket, so we asked the handsome owner if we could use their kitchen for dinner. To our surprise, he readily agreed without hesitation, only requesting that we not cook pork. So we quickly went to the supermarket to buy meat, vegetables, coconut oil, and seasonings, and cooked a delicious meal. Afterwards, the owner even washed all the dishes for us. It was truly touching. The next morning's breakfast was largely the same as the previous days, except for yogurt and cake. When paying for the room, they didn't accept the USD deposit from Ctrip; we paid in cash on the spot. Looking back, the environment here was an improvement over the previous ones; at least we could take a walk outside in the evening. The owner was incredibly friendly; they didn't charge us extra for using the kitchen or cleaning up after us, leaving a very pleasant impression.

We had an amazing stay. The house is located at the very top of the hill, so we had the best view from our room. We would also like to thank the lady and Mr. Dinesh, our driver, from the bottom of our hearts, for their help and kindness. He even gave us a gift on our departure🥹 we can’t wait to visit Kandy again!

The price was cheap. Since we were leaving late at night and needed to leave the next morning, we chose a budget-friendly guesthouse. The courtyard was very well maintained. Our family room had a bedroom, a small living room, a kitchen, and a small balcony. The kitchen was fully equipped with various appliances, but we didn't get a chance to use them. The dining area had a very open view. We saw some long-term European and American tourists in other rooms. Their rooms had small terraces outside, where they could leisurely read in the morning – quite comfortable. There were also downsides. The slope leading to the courtyard was very steep, requiring us to park the car downstairs and carry our luggage in, which was a bit inconvenient. Also, the breakfast was a bit expensive, so we opted to eat at the hotel to avoid the hassle. The food was okay, but not great value for money.

Exceptional stay in Milano Grand – a real 5 stars for quality and reception We stayed two nights in Milano Grand, and the experience was absolutely perfect from the beginning to the end. The hotel is very comfortable and very comfortable and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Thank you very much to Lucky manager, whose goodness and professionalism have changed our stay. Our heavy baggage was brought to the room, and we were given excellent recommendations to visit, to eat, and even a scooter was reserved and organized for our next day explorations. The breakfast was royal: fresh fruit, fresh smoothies, variety and generosity. The rooms were large, very clean, and really comfortable. The location is perfect: just next to the road station. And above all, at the check-out, Lucky personally accompanied us to the station, to show us exactly what bus to take. A rare, careful, and deeply appreciated gesture. For the price, quality, reception and kindness of the staff, this hotel is widely worth 5 stars. I recommend the Milano Grand very strongly.

This hotel was very comfortable with a refrigerator, cooler, shower in the room, towels and dryers. Thanks to the refrigerator, I was happy to be able to cool and drink the sake I bought outside. It is also near Candy Station and faces the main street, so access is good.

The price of the Youth Hostel, the service of the hotel. The location is a bit biased, but it takes ten minutes to walk to Kangping Lake and more than 20 minutes to the Buddha Tooth Temple. The facilities are very new and there is a balcony to see the scenery of Kangti. There seems to be a bar on the top floor, very lively, and the end of ten o'clock on time does not affect the rest. In short, it is very cost-effective and worth booking

The breakfast is delicious. There's a wide selection of fruit. It's within walking distance of Sigiriya Rock. It might be the closest hotel in the area. Perfect for a girls' trip! There aren't many rooms, so it seems like a small establishment. I stayed for three nights, and only saw two other guests. So, I got a good night's sleep. However, the walls were a bit thin, so noise echoed.
