"It was okay, but the shower wasn't great; the hot water pressure was low. However, in Bukhara's hot weather, it didn't really matter that the water wasn't super hot. The owner was quite enthusiastic, so it was still pretty good overall."

"I highly recommend this family-run guesthouse! It's operated by a mother and her two sons. The two boys have excellent language skills, speaking fluent English, as well as Uzbek, Russian, and other languages, so communication is never an issue. The entire family is genuinely kind; whenever we returned from an outing or woke up in the morning, they would proactively ask if we needed any assistance. Every morning, breakfast would be prepared and waiting for us on the table. The owner-mother is gentle and kind; she even helped us wash, dry, and fold our clothes. The two young men are very well-mannered, sensible, and generous, handling the guesthouse reception and online communications. We experienced such pure and unpretentious kindness here – it was a truly precious part of our trip."

"The location is fantastic! It's just a 1-minute walk from the hotel to the city center, making it super convenient to get around. Taxis can drop you right at the door, which is a huge plus when you have luggage.
We arrived at midnight on our check-in day, and the process was smooth. The owner and staff were very friendly and polite, and happy to chat, making us feel relaxed as soon as we arrived.
The room was clean and comfortable. Although not spacious, it was tidy and well-maintained. The air conditioning worked great, and the bathroom was also very clean with excellent water pressure, making showers quite pleasant.
*Small tip: The toiletries provided are basic. If you have specific preferences, I recommend bringing your own shampoo and shower gel.
Overall, it's a high-value-for-money accommodation, highly recommended for travelers who prioritize location and service!"

"You can walk to the tourist point with the color minaret in 1 minutes.
The hotel is like a hideaway, the entrance is difficult to understand, but the location of google map is accurate.
The bathroom is shared, but there are only 2 rooms, so there is not much inconvenience. We received a generous service. Breakfast will be brought to your room after checking the time the day before.
Check-in and check-out are possible even at midnight because there is a 24-hour staff.
The water pressure in the shower was weak, but the shampoo was a good scent. There is also a hair dryer rental.
I want to use it again next time I come to Bukhara."

"I didn't like it. The room was clean, but the courtyard wasn't. I'd clean the stairs and the chairs on the veranda, where breakfast leaves dirty stains on clothes. Breakfast was average, okay, but nothing special, mostly store-bought food. The shower stall in the room was broken, and the TV didn't work. When I contacted the receptionist, they promised to fix it, but in reality, nothing happened. It was just an oriental fairy tale. Another issue was paying the tourist tax: the website lists the price in soums, but at the hotel it's $5 with the exchange rate the receptionist wanted, plus the VAT paid upon booking. It's all pennies, essentially, but in reality, it's business as usual. And the link says it's incorrectly calculated and the reservation doesn't mean anything, as if in Uzbekistan the tourist tax is paid in dollars."

After a long day of sightseeing, guests can retire to the comfort of the hotel. If you demand a high level of service, our guests have indicated that this hotel has excellent standards.
"It’s more like a home stay where you will experience the warm welcome and hospitality of the owner and his family. The owner is immensely passionate about his country to which he made a photo book about Bukhara. The breakfast was great and rooms are clean as well, not to mention that it’s inside the old town!!"

"A great family hotel! Located very convenient - in foot access from the old city, the nearest sightseeing is Lyabi House. You can get to the hotel by taxi, although some facilities in the old city can only be reached on foot. Hotel staff is very friendly, hospitality. The host of the hotel has turned on heating as it has already been cold at night on the street. You can leave things in the hotel after expulsion, walk around the city a few hours before the train. I liked breakfast. Especially remembered a delicious home baking, dinas, carrots!"

The staff were very kind and helpful; they offered me cold water at reception when I came back in from the heat and even set up my next destination on Yandex Go for me.
The breakfast had more than enough food.
On my last day, as I was getting into the taxi, a staff member came out from reception, waved, and saw me off."

”This hotel is a real eastern fairy tale! Once you open the door, you get into the amazing world of eastern color. The hotel is new, but at the same time decorated with great love for tradition each detail is thought up to tiny.
The rooms are decorated in authentic eastern style, with very comfortable and comfortable. Bed just excellent has slept wonderfully. The hotel has a cozy recreation area where you can just lie down, relax and drink a cup of aroma tea. And the pool is a separate bonus, especially in the heat!
A separate thanks to host an incredibly hospitality man, showed real eastern hospitality. He went to meet us and allowed us to stay at the hotel 3 hours after departure so that we could quietly wait for the train. Free! It is expensive.
The staff is also very attentive, always ready to help with advice and where to eat deliciously, and where to go to see the most interesting.
Breakfast is just delightful! Huge choice: a variety of east sweets, nuts and dried fruits, galva, pancakes, fresh fruit, cash, yogurt, twelve each will find something on the soul.
Especially striking attention: breakfast with a huge selection of eastern sweets, fruits and home baking. The host and his team soulful people showed us what such eastern hospitality is. We all advise this hotel. And we when we left even the coin threw to return."

Perfectly located in the heart of the old town, the hotel offers convenient access to major historical attractions, local restaurants, and vibrant الأسواق, all within walking distance. This made it incredibly easy to explore the cultural charm of the city without needing transportation.
From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warm hospitality of the staff. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and the team went out of their way to ensure I felt welcomed. They were always ready to assist with recommendations, directions, and even small personal requests, which added a thoughtful touch to the overall experience.
The room itself was beautifully designed, blending traditional aesthetics with modern comfort. It was clean, cozy, and well-maintained, with attention to detail in both décor and amenities. The bed was especially comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep after long days of sightseeing. I also appreciated the quiet atmosphere despite the central location, which can often be a challenge in busy areas.
One of the standout features of Boutique Old City is its charming courtyard. It provides a peaceful space to relax, enjoy a cup of tea or coffee, and soak in the historical ambiance. In the mornings, breakfast was served with a variety of local and international options. Everything was fresh and delicious, and it was a great way to start the day.
Another aspect worth mentioning is the hotel’s authenticity. Unlike larger chain hotels, Boutique Old City offers a more intimate and culturally immersive experience. The architecture and interior design reflect the heritage of the region, allowing guests to feel more connected to the destination.

Its location was truly unbeatable—just a few steps from the main square in the heart of the old city, making it the perfect base for exploring the historical sights and vibrant local culture.
The hotel staff were exceptionally kind and welcoming, going out of their way to ensure our stay was smooth. A special mention goes to the receptionist, who graciously covered our taxi fare when I didn’t have smaller banknotes on hand—an unexpected gesture that truly reflected the hotel's commitment to hospitality.
Breakfast was modest but satisfactory, offering a simple continental selection that provided an easy, light start to the day. While it wasn’t particularly remarkable, it served its purpose for a short stay.

GGirls who travelOur stay here was excellent! We decided to book this accomodation based on the other reviews, and it was even more wonderful than we thought! This is a home stay, and it was great to meet the family and speak with them. It is very close to the old city attractions, which made it so easy to walk to them. The family were lovely to us during our stay. The breakfast was extra special as our host made sure that we tried an array of dishes, and he even went out of his way to go to the market to get ingredients to prepare our breakfast. It was really lovely to go on the walking tour, we went to the summer palace and got to learn a lot about Uzbek culture during the tour. We chose to do a plov making class with the family as well, and it was the most delicious meal we had during the trip, and we really enjoyed learning how to make the dish and getting to know the family some more This stay was excellent and made us really love Bukhara, we highly recommend staying here!

GGlobetrotter from MalaysiaRustam the owner is very service oriented and arranged for our pick up at Bukhara Station.We had a very nice stay in his home which has ensuite bathroom in the bedroom.
Dun expect hotel quality as this is homestay and with basic breakfast.
It is a short walk in the mosque with 4 minarets and a 15 mins to the place where they are restaurants.
Bukhara is an interesting city to visit but the food factor for Eastern Asian tourists like Japanese , Korean and Chinese food is lacking as with western cuisine though burgers and pizzas are not staple for western tourists.
Overall , very happy stay with Rustam and will come back again

Host kindly arrange car pick up from train station and the car stopped just in front of the hotel (not all hotels are accessible by car in the old town as the area is protected . Many visitors need to drag their luggage for some distance or pay a golf car) .
It might not be the big chain hotel but every gesture is sweet and warm . In my departure day it was so early , the host still arranged a car transfer plus a package breakfast for my journey. Very worth with the price and definitely recommend.

Environment: Outside the old city, across the street from the old city. Walk to the center of the old city for about 10 minutes (Buhara is actually not big), and you can reach most of the attractions in the old city withinRMB10 by taxi software.
Service: There is breakfast, it is a set meal. Generally, fried eggs and wontons, there is also pilaf. But a local pot of tea is a must.

BbiiaaVery well located next to the main minaret, and walking distance to all main spots in the old city center. Very cosy and confortable room and rich breakfast (and dinner) facing the square. The only thing you need to be careful is not too spend too much in those gorgeous bazaars nearby (I myself got two carpets and several scarves 😍🤣). Just go and have fun.

It's a quiet place, just a 3-5 minute walk from the old town. We had a great time exploring the old town over four days. Thank you to the owner for providing us with such a comfortable place to stay!

The rooms are clean , comfortable .
There are many things in the room that make your rest easier.
TAPOCHES are one-time for each guest , well where have you seen such in guest houses ? ) towels (between 3 pcs per guest : for feet, for face , for body ), not in every 3-4 star hotels such is ...) in the shower there is a fan and for each guest shampoo and gel for the shower .
On one bed on 2 pillows !!!
And what for us breakfast prepared the hostess !!! Thanks to her !!! And the eggs were offered and the cache was cooked and the creamy cream on the table was put )) national dishes were prepared for us ! The phinica were !! We were delighted with breakfast . This is such a home atmosphere . We really felt like guests ! Thank you again and wish you a prosperity !

The owner is immensely passionate about his country to which he made a photo book about Bukhara. The breakfast was great and rooms are clean as well, not to mention that it’s inside the old town!!
