"Before coming, I compared almost all the hotels and guesthouses on the mountain, and Beihai stood out as having the best value for money. The room size was quite decent, and the concierge service from Xinyi was excellent – she was very knowledgeable about the surrounding attractions and routes. The location is also good; it's about a 10-minute walk to Monkey Watching the Sea, which is currently the closest viewpoint for sunrise. Bright Summit is a bit further, probably a 45-minute to an hour walk for the average person. The closest to the hotel is the Yungu cable car, about a 20-minute walk, making it very convenient for going up and down the mountain. The hotel restaurant's breakfast spread was very generous, and the à la carte dinner dishes were also delicious, especially the bamboo shoots and the old chicken soup – so fragrant! The hotel staff were all friendly and welcoming. There's also a cat named Yundou, who's plump and adorable and often wanders around the hotel entrance early in the morning. Right outside the hotel, there's also a medical station, a police station, and a coffee shop, which makes the facilities incredibly convenient. While prices on the mountain are high, it's understandable, considering all the food and drinks are carried up by porters. I hope they are compensated fairly for their hard work. Overall, it was a good experience, and the money was well spent."

"I stayed at the Grand Hyatt Hefei at the tail end of the National Day holiday, which was also my first visit to Hefei. The room offered excellent views from its high-floor, floor-to-ceiling windows. Since I checked in at night, I unfortunately missed the sunset, but the next morning was clear, providing a panoramic view of Swan Lake and the Olympic Sports Center. The hotel service was excellent. Service manager Cendy called the day before to confirm my check-in time and any specific needs. She promptly delivered requested items after our phone conversation. As this trip was at the very end of the holiday, I was in a rush and only stayed one night. I didn't get to explore all of Hefei's attractions, but I look forward to visiting again."

"The room I stayed in didn't feel very small at all ~ It was pretty good, mainly because it was clean, and the attention to detail was impressive. They provided a clothesline, a jacket for watching the sunrise, and a flashlight. Although the window faced the hallway, our room was right at the very end of the corridor, so we could open the window for ventilation without any disturbance. Since it was the shoulder season, very few people walked by, so opening the window wasn't an issue at all. Right after checking in, a butler personally escorted us to our room and even gave us complimentary fruit. The 98-yuan buffet breakfast included was rich, delicious, and offered a great variety of choices. There were also some interactive activities at 7 PM, which brought a cozy and lively vibe to the cold night, plus complimentary midnight snacks after 10 PM."

Although the guesthouse seems far, it's actually very close to the city center. The owner even provided pick-up and drop-off service, which was very thoughtful. "I specifically chose to stay at the InterContinental Hefei for Wang Leehom's two concerts! The location in the Government Affairs District by Swan Lake is excellent. Taking a taxi to Hefei Olympic Sports Center Stadium was smooth, and even after the concert when there was a large crowd, returning to the hotel was hassle-free, saving a lot of time and effort. In between my concert schedule, I managed to visit the Hefei Museum and explored the cultural and creative shops and took photos at Hechai 1972. Transportation to all these spots was very convenient. I stayed in a high-floor lake-view room this time, and opening the window revealed the entire Swan Lake. The night view from dusk till deep night was absolutely beautiful. The room was clean and tidy, and the soundproofing was excellent, allowing me to rest quietly after a long day of running around. The InterContinental's quality is consistently good. The breakfast selection is rich, and the service is attentive. It's suitable for both attending concerts and short city trips. I highly recommend it to anyone coming to Hefei for a concert."

The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic! Sitting on the balcony, I could quietly sip tea while gazing at Tiandu Peak, Renzi Waterfall, and the lush forest below, truly communing with the mountains. In the early morning, I’d take a stroll, heading up the steps right outside the hotel, listening to the murmuring stream, and breathing in the abundant negative oxygen ions while meditating. This meditation spot is so peaceful, like a secluded paradise, with the pond water crystal clear and emerald green. It truly brought to life the descriptions from Liu Zongyuan's 'The Little Pond in Stone-dwelling': 'Through the bamboo grove, I heard the sound of water, like jingling jade pendants, and my heart rejoiced. Cutting through the bamboo, I found a small pond below, its water especially clear and cold. The bottom was entirely rock, and near the bank, a rocky base emerged, forming islets, shallows, and crags. Green trees and vibrant vines intertwined, swaying, and gracefully draping.' This is truly another wonderful way to experience Huangshan! The hotel also provided attentive and detailed butler and transfer services. Every meal was unique and incredibly delicious. On our last day, with a flight at 10 PM, the hotel kindly allowed us to extend our check-out until 8 PM and even drove us to the airport. My sincere thanks to every staff member for their help. I'm already looking forward to my next visit to Huangshan and staying here again.

From the very beginning to the moment we checked out, everything felt thoughtful, well-organized, and genuinely welcoming. What really sets this place apart is not just the beautiful property, but the level of care and service provided throughout the entire stay. Even before our arrival, the host proactively contacted us via WeChat to confirm details and assist with planning. Communication was extremely smooth and responsive — no matter what time of day we had questions, we always received quick and helpful replies. For a destination like Jiuhua Mountain, where logistics and routes can feel overwhelming for first-time visitors, this kind of support makes a huge difference and immediately puts you at ease. The room itself exceeded our expectations. It was spacious, bright, and very comfortable, with a layout that worked perfectly for a family stay. Unlike many homestays that feel cramped, this room had plenty of space to relax, unpack, and truly rest. The bedding was clean and soft, and the overall atmosphere was calm and quiet, allowing us to sleep extremely well. Housekeeping standards were excellent — everything felt carefully maintained and spotlessly clean. I saw the reviews before that the small animals that can be fed were only empty cages. There was a cat. The baby could only play with the cat for a while. On the way to the room, I had to pass the cat house. The smell almost made me faint. There are also advantages. In terms of service, the boss contacted in advance. When I arrived, the boss went to the door to pick up the tickets in person. There were several times in the middle when the remote control and bed sheets were replaced. The boss solved it quickly. The owner of the B&B is indeed very responsive to the guests' service and has a very good attitude. My stay at Luming Valley this time was incredibly comfortable, especially the room – I was very satisfied! The hotel is nestled in a natural environment, with fresh air and away from the hustle and bustle, making it perfect for travelers looking to relax. The room I stayed in had a fantastic view, overlooking the mountains and forest. Waking up to the sunshine and birdsong in the morning was incredibly healing. The room's interior design was simple and clean, the facilities were new, and the bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a sound sleep. The bathroom was also spacious, with plenty of hot water and good quality toiletries. You could feel the attention to detail, like the cozy lighting, ample power outlets, and a small tea table for enjoying tea and the view. The hotel staff were friendly, and both check-in and check-out went smoothly. There are walking trails within the complex, which are lovely for an evening stroll. If you come by car, parking is convenient. While the breakfast selection at the restaurant wasn't vast, the food was light and refreshing, and the combinations were well-balanced. Overall, Luming Valley offers great value for money, especially for those who appreciate quiet and want a brief escape from the city. If I visit this area again, I'll definitely prioritize staying here. Highly recommend it to friends who enjoy nature-focused getaways.

Our stay at Shan Yu Sheng Huo was by far the best part of our trip to Mount Huangshan. The actual experience far exceeded our expectations, making it a truly relaxing and comfortable stay. Tucked away among tea plantations and bamboo groves, the guesthouse is not far from Tangkou Town, yet far enough to escape the hustle and bustle. The minimalist, upscale architecture blends harmoniously with the natural surroundings. Stepping into the courtyard, the air is filled with the fresh scent of greenery. After a tiring hike up Mount Huangshan, returning here instantly brought a sense of peace and relaxation. The room was spacious and impeccably clean, with every corner of the floor and bathroom spotless. The large floor-to-ceiling windows look straight out into the mountain forests. Waking up in the morning and drawing the curtains to see a light mist drifting over the tea gardens was incredibly therapeutic. The bedding was soft and skin-friendly, the toiletries were of high quality, and the thoughtful details were evident. It was quiet at night, ensuring a wonderful quality of sleep. The staff were warm, genuine, and efficient at check-in. They also proactively explained hiking routes and useful tips to us. The public areas are full of ambiance; the tea room and courtyard are great for strolling or sitting awhile, and every snapshot looks like a postcard. All three meals are available at the guesthouse. The breakfast offered a rich variety, including local flatbreads and wholesome side dishes, making for a very comforting start to the day. For dinner, we ordered Anhui cuisine, which tasted authentic. Dishes like the stenciled mandarin fish and free-range chicken soup featured fresh ingredients and rivaled any outside restaurant, saving us the trouble of heading into town and making things so much easier. The location is very convenient for hikers, being quite close to the Mount Huangshan South Gate Transfer Center, making travel easy, and there is ample parking for self-driving guests. After a whole day of exhausting climbing, coming back to the guesthouse to rest and feel the mountain breeze made most of the fatigue melt away. It combines the aesthetic appeal of a designer guesthouse with down-to-earth, attentive service—it's not one of those Instagram-famous spots that just looks good but lacks comfort. It's ideal whether you're here for hiking or just a leisurely getaway. I genuinely recommend this place for anyone visiting Mount Huangshan, and I will definitely choose to stay here again next time.

The stay was fantastic! We traveled with our pet, and all the staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly towards animals. The service was thoughtful and impeccable. The room layout was very well-designed with a comfortable flow. The owner even explained routes and drove us to the entrance of the scenic area. I am filling this review out as the person who booked and paid for the room on behalf of my guest / driver, who stayed here for eight days. The room was conveniently located on the ground floor, and despite being adjacent to the main lobby, it was reasonably quiet. A set menu breakfast with nine small dishes was provided every morning in the restaurant, and was very healthy and beautifully presented. Cleaning was done every morning by aunties who knocked around 10a.m. to check if cleaning was requested. Parking onsite for free and EV charging was also available very conveniently next to the hotel. Although the hotel room was non-smoking, the driver smoked both inside the room and in the public lobby, but was not ticked off or asked to smoke outside (!). Staff were very courteous and friendly, always helping with any issue and happy to answer any questions. On departing, both the driver and myself received local biscuits as a gift. Really wonderful place to stay with an extremely well trained, polite family of hospitality experts.

Visiting Mount Huangshan for a second time, I booked the Xihai Hotel. After having lunch and a midday rest at the hotel, I headed out in the afternoon to stroll around the Paiyun Pavilion and West Sea Grand Canyon area. It was a very relaxing trip. The hotel room was great—nice, big, and spacious. They also provide a butler service, keeping us informed about sunrise and sunset times, hotel activities, and more.

This guesthouse is located right inside the scenic area, making it super convenient for resting after an evening stroll. The decor is charmingly traditional, perfectly complementing the Huizhou architectural style. The guesthouse itself feels like an integral part of the scenic area, featuring a garden restaurant and a coffee bar where you can even pet cats. The owner is fantastic, offering luggage pickup and drop-off services right from the bus station. It's a highly recommended place to stay.

Before coming, I compared almost all the hotels and guesthouses on the mountain, and Beihai stood out as having the best value for money. The room size was quite decent, and the concierge service from Xinyi was excellent – she was very knowledgeable about the surrounding attractions and routes. The location is also good; it's about a 10-minute walk to Monkey Watching the Sea, which is currently the closest viewpoint for sunrise. Bright Summit is a bit further, probably a 45-minute to an hour walk for the average person. The closest to the hotel is the Yungu cable car, about a 20-minute walk, making it very convenient for going up and down the mountain. The hotel restaurant's breakfast spread was very generous, and the à la carte dinner dishes were also delicious, especially the bamboo shoots and the old chicken soup – so fragrant! The hotel staff were all friendly and welcoming. There's also a cat named Yundou, who's plump and adorable and often wanders around the hotel entrance early in the morning. Right outside the hotel, there's also a medical station, a police station, and a coffee shop, which makes the facilities incredibly convenient. While prices on the mountain are high, it's understandable, considering all the food and drinks are carried up by porters. I hope they are compensated fairly for their hard work. Overall, it was a good experience, and the money was well spent.
