"Apart from the renovation which we were told beforehand, the room we had was dark (probably because it was a windowless room), humid, aircon wasn’t strong but they provided a fan. Could smell urine even with the toilet seat covered, toilet door was closed, to a point that i was awaken by the foul smell. Had to spray perfume to have it barely covered. Ventilation was super bad. Cons aside, service was good, fridge in room had free drinks. Would recommend to book a window room if you had to even though friend that stayed in the window room said it was bad too. There’s a mall few minutes walk away which was a plus. Good view on the reception floor too."

"This location was ideal for my short layover. Conveniently located adjacent to Beijing Capital International Airport, it offers virtually every amenity you could imagine. The value is also excellent considering what you save by taking advantage of the complimentary airport shuttle service. What truly made this stay exceptional, however, was the outstanding hospitality. I ordered room service, and the food arrived hot, delicious, reasonably priced, and surprisingly high quality. Breakfast was another highlight—I highly recommend adding it to your stay, whether you dine in the restaurant or enjoy it from the comfort of your room. I especially want to recognize Deane at the guest services desk. Exceptional customer service is becoming increasingly rare, and Deane reminded me what genuine hospitality looks like. When I needed a little extra time before checking out, he patiently listened to my request, helped me work through my admittedly imperfect Chinese, and went above and beyond by arranging a special accommodation that allowed me to remain in my room beyond the standard checkout time. At no point did I feel rushed or like an inconvenience. Instead, I felt genuinely welcomed as a guest. His professionalism, kindness, and willingness to help transformed what could have been a stressful travel day into a relaxed and enjoyable experience. Employees like Deane are a tremendous asset to any hotel, and he deserves recognition for the positive impression he leaves on guests. This personalized level of customer care is exactly why I would recommend this hotel to anyone flying into or out of Beijing, and why I will absolutely stay here again. I’ve attached a few photos I took during my visit. A special note for families with children: you would be hard-pressed to find a better airport hotel. Between the family rooms, swimming pool, breakfast buffet, and evening dining options—including pizza, burgers, and other Western favorites—there is plenty to keep children happy while creating memorable family experiences. 10/10. "My stay at Ande Hotel Beijing South Station Yangqiao Branch was absolutely fantastic! First, I have to give a huge shout-out to Cheche at the front desk – his attitude was just superb! He was incredibly patient throughout, answered all my questions without a hint of annoyance, which made me feel so comfortable. The hotel's environment also exceeded my expectations. It was spotless overall, with no unpleasant odors at all. Both the hallways and the room were tidily kept, making for a very reassuring stay. And I absolutely have to praise the bed! It was so soft and comfortable; the pillows and mattress were perfectly supportive. I fell asleep in no time, and the soundproofing was excellent. I slept soundly until morning without any disturbances. All the facilities were quite new too; the hot water, air conditioning, and WiFi were all stable and worked seamlessly. Its location near the station also made getting around super convenient. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in the area and will recommend it to my friends!"

"Facilities: The hotel has a coffee machine, a robot for delivering takeout, and a laundry room. However, the laundry room only washes clothes, it doesn't have a dryer. Since it's been raining in Beijing these past couple of days, it's best to bring extra clothes. Cleanliness: The hotel's cleanliness is excellent, and there's also a courtyard which is very clean and a great spot to sunbathe. Environment: The environment is exceptionally good and very comfortable, and the sun was lovely. Service: The front desk staff are incredibly friendly and always cheerful. Highly recommended! The hotel also offers luggage storage and can help order food delivery directly to your room. I'll definitely recommend it to my friends and will stay here again next time I'm in Beijing."

"I actually booked for one night initially, and the room, including the bedding and layout, was so comfortable that I extended my stay for another night, even though it meant taking a taxi a bit further out. However, their service, I really don't even know where to begin. One day, I was struggling to get out of the elevator with my suitcase and a lot of other stuff in my hands. I was about to get into another elevator and happened to see a staff member, thinking they might help me, but they just walked right past me without even a glance. Fine, whatever. Then, when I was checking out, they clearly saw me approaching to check out, but one person was looking down at their phone, and the other walked away. I had to call them two or three times before they even acknowledged me. It was the same when I was extending my stay and needed to swipe my card; someone was right there, looked at me, and just didn't come over until I called out. And again at checkout, I checked out before 12 PM. Normally, I send over the invoice details and they issue it, right? Since I travel for work for extended periods, I have many expenses to claim daily. I usually organize my reimbursements and work summaries in the evening. It was 8 PM when I was doing this and realized they hadn't issued the invoice yet. So I called the hotel, and I asked why the invoice hadn't been issued, and what did they say? I was speechless. Later, they messaged me on WeChat saying the finance department had left for the day and couldn't issue it. Ugh."

"What a pleasant surprise, this courtyard hotel! At night, the red lanterns illuminate the wooden beams, creating a fantastic ambiance in the traditional Chinese courtyard with stunning views. The entire room is equipped with Xiaodu smart voice control, allowing you to turn lights on/off and play music with just a voice command – the level of smart tech far exceeded my expectations. The room was clean, tidy, cozy, and comfortable. Overall, the experience completely surpassed what I anticipated. It's definitely worth coming back to, and this will be my first choice for future stays!"
