This hotel offered a nice, but small, bedroom. As an airport hotel, it looks the part on entry: take note of the mirror at the reception, decorated around the frame with lots of badges from abroad. I was surprised to see that the Saffron Grill Bar offers multiple food options, not just Indian cuisine that the name suggests, although I chose Indian food as I can’t say no to it. Drinks were a little on the pricey side, but on the plus side, they were typical of Indian cuisine (they had 1 draft beer, Kingfisher, the rest of the drinks were bottled or were spirits). My only complaint was the shower. I was not staying for long, but when I did use the shower, I found that the hot water was not very hot, even when the temperature was set to its hottest.

Quite frankly, by day 2 we had fallen in love with the place, all staff on all sections were brilliant. All facilities were clean, well maintained and up to spec. Indoor pool, outdoor pool, 2 saunas, ice plunge pool, tennis courts, orchard and children's play area. There is also archery, bike hire and even boat hire so you can have a little trip on the river. We didn't do breakfast but there is a lovely little coffee bar with pastries and for the evening meal the main restaurant operates a buffet style with about 30 options so you could try a little bit of everything. The quality of the food was also very good. Finally I'll just mention that my partner enjoyed a couple of treatments at the spa and said her experience was superb. Ideal location for North Terminal. Room was clean and bright with first-class linen. It's a shame that, whilst the room was advertised as having a double-bed, it was in fact a double mattress on top of two singles! This meant a large ridge down the middle and my wife and I were consigned to our individual dips on either side. IMHO this description is misleading.

Great manor-style hotel with large and comfortable rooms. The restaurant and bar taste good. The staff are friendly and enthusiastic. The parking is convenient and free. Originally, it was a noble manor, with a large private territory and beautiful surroundings.

The location is very nearby Gatwick Airport. Shuttle bus services are available, you may pay for a round trip fee when boarding the bus. Please do not throw away your shuttle bus receipt, the QR Code on it will be required for the next time. Breakfast and dinner are served, especially dinner until 10 pm. Bar is 24/7. The standard room is big, however the curtain for shower is somehow humid, and soundproof is not in good condition. All in all it is a good choice nearby the airport!

Corridors all over, like a rabbit warren. Comfortable room and bed, stained carpet, bath was high for stepping into for showering and paintwork was chipped / grubby. Nice bar, restaurant and courtyard, didn't eat there although breakfast looked great and reasonable. Plenty of free parking.

This hotel is located on the first floor of the North Terminal. The environment is clean and tidy, and the hygiene conditions are excellent. It's super convenient for catching flights, as you can check in directly without even leaving the terminal. The breakfast is also pretty good.

The staff and the service: totally incredible. The food was average at best, and there weren't many amenities, but it was located very close to 2 train lines which was extremely convenient. If you aren't planning to spend much time in your room, it's a great staging area for heading into London, going to and from the airport, or getting anywhere you need to. Priced right, especially for what you're getting. I would recommend it to friends and I would stay there again myself.
