Check-in time was flexible; we arrived early and were immediately given a room to rest, which was a huge plus for those arriving on early flights. Our standard room was on the 5th floor, a typical hotel room setup with good natural light and plenty of sunshine. The mattress was incredibly comfortable. In contrast, the bathroom had a much more distinctive design. A highlight was the small spa pool on the basement level, which had a unique vibe, wasn't crowded, and was very relaxing. It's complimentary for guests. While the hotel breakfast didn't have a huge selection, everything was relatively tasty, especially the Hungarian baked eggs, which were exactly to my liking. The staff were friendly and helpful. Recommended! PS: There was a wedding party on the day we checked in, and the music was quite loud at night, but fortunately, we couldn't hear it much from the 5th floor.

Extremely satisfied! Not only is the hotel beautiful, but the service is also excellent. For a stay in Budapest, this hotel offers incredible value for money. I'll definitely book here again next time I visit, and I highly recommend it to everyone.

This was our second time staying at this hotel, and once again we had a wonderful experience. The location is excellent, within walking distance of all the main attractions, and the price is very reasonable considering its central location. We stayed for one night and were disappointed that we couldn't extend our stay for another two nights because the hotel was fully booked for the weekend. In the future, we will definitely choose this hotel again because of its excellent value for money and the quality of the services provided. Our room was on the third floor overlooking the inner courtyard, so it was very quiet and we had a great night's sleep. The room was clean and comfortable. We didn't have breakfast, so we can't comment on it, but everything else met our expectations.

Clean, comfortable stay with very helpful staff I had a pleasant stay at the Four Points by Sheraton in Budapest. The staff were very nice and professional, and the room was clean, tidy and comfortable. I also appreciated that the wake-up call came on time, which was important for my schedule. The room had good basic facilities, including tea, coffee, water and air conditioning, all of which worked well. Reception was also very responsive: when I reported noise from a nearby room late in the evening, after midnight, they reacted quickly and handled the situation, which helped me feel looked after. The only downside was that some small amenities were not provided, such as a toothbrush, cotton pads and slippers, so it is worth bringing your own. Overall, it was a good and reliable stay, especially because of the clean room, helpful staff and quick service from reception.

The location is very convenient if you need to get to the airport early in the morning. However, it's a bit far from the city center—it's the last metro station. The reception staff are friendly and patiently answer questions. The room is quite spacious, with a small hallway with a closet. The room has a table, chairs, a mini-fridge, air conditioning, and a kettle. It's nice that they provide coffee and tea (unlike the hotel of the same name). Everything is clean, with good linens and fresh towels. The Wi-Fi is good. Although there are cars in the courtyard, it's quite quiet. Breakfast is a bit pricey—around 11 euros. A definite downside is the mini-fridge, which barely cools even on the highest setting. Overall, the experience was favorable and I highly recommend it.

Location is perfect as very near to chain bridge and castle. Can walk around to all the attractions or take bus or tram as both are nearby. If you have bulky luggage, little troublesome as hotel is on a slope of 25 metres. It’s old hotel, so be prepared…aircon not cool enough. Breakfast was nice. Filtered cool water provided at lobby, good taste and saves money.

One thing really upset me! The blinds in my room were broken. I reported it that same day, and the Macedonian guy told me the maintenance worker wouldn't be in until Monday. So, on Monday, I told the front desk again. The Hungarian guy there promised it would be fixed that day, but it never was. Later, when I spoke to the Macedonian guy about it, he immediately snapped back, saying he had told maintenance that they finished work at 4 PM. I thought to myself, 'Does he really need to be that angry?' Maybe his colleague didn't inform him, but it's certainly not my fault. Afterward, when I asked to change rooms, the Macedonian guy had a very impatient attitude! I think that Macedonian guy's customer service skills need some training! And one of the elevators is always out of order…

My recent stay at Bristol Budapest Hotel was an excellent experience from start to finish; I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone visiting Budapest. I arrived at around 02:00, and despite the late hour, check-in was completely seamless. The staff were clearly expecting me; this made the whole process quick and effortless; exactly what you want after a long journey. The room itself was immaculately clean and very well presented. I appreciated the small touches; like the fridge stocked with a bottle of water, which can be replenished simply by taking it down to reception. The bed was very comfortable, with soft, high-quality linen that made for a great night’s sleep. There was also a good tea and coffee setup in the room; a welcome addition. Even though my room faced the street, I slept with the window open and wasn’t disturbed by noise at all; something that really stood out. The bathroom was spacious enough, with plenty of clean towels and some lovely complimentary toiletries. At one point I needed an iron and ironing board; reception provided both immediately without any fuss; which summed up the efficiency of the service throughout my stay. Breakfast was a real highlight. I had seen some mixed reviews beforehand, but I genuinely don’t understand why. The selection was extensive; covering both continental and hot options. Everything was beautifully presented, tasted great, and was constantly replenished and well maintained. It was easily one of the best parts of my stay. What truly sets this hotel apart, though, is the staff. Every single person I encountered was friendly, helpful, and welcoming; always with a smile. That level of hospitality made a big difference. Overall, this is a solid and reliable option for anyone visiting Budapest; I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it.

I’m waited for the day that hotel opens, we been few times before cake shop dwonsters were we had dessert very delicious. Yes we have I’m going room there is no still water Calling receptionist there is no water, she said are you sure ? 😂 yes I’m positive I see there no water Can u pls send me ? By far the worst hotel experience I have ever had, and I will not be coming back when I return to Budapest. First thing was the booking details, which clearly stated ”1 full bed”. However when I got to the hotel room, there were two TINY beds instead. If I laid perfectly straight on these beds, my arms nearly fall off the sides. I go to reception and the blonde woman who was there at 11:10pm on Wednesday May 20th told me ”we don't have any large beds in Hungary, we just push two small beds together.” This is a lie, I had just spent 8 days in Budapest at the Park Plaza (also a 4 star hotel) and I slept in a single very large bed every night. When I mentioned this, she just shrugged. No apologies. Why does this matter? Two mattresses pushed together creates a gap that results in aggravating back pain, especially for anyone with spine misalignment like I have. I booked this hotel to go to the airport energized and refreshed, instead I get to go on my international flight exhausted with extreme back pain. Second issue was the water, the absolute hottest that it got was lukewarm. I asked reception about this issue too, same woman said she'd look into it. It was never fixed, no apologies for the inconvenience again. The room was hotter than the ”hot” water. The only positives about this hotel were the decent breakfast and free airport shuttle, but I'd rather have spent $8 on an Uber and had a full bed as promised. I'll be staying at the Ibis Styles or TRIBE next time. They probably don't lie about their rooms.
