"Hotel is good situated near city center and parks. Hotel is big but has only restaurant for breakfast and bar and some gold shops as amenities. Breakfast is kinda modest compared to other 4 stars. The building is kinda old and the room had some smell from pipes which required opening windows even it’s cold, room service tried to solve it but it really depends on building. The personnel is friendly, kind and eager to help."

"The hotel is along a quaint street that's almost like uninhabited on a Sunday. I like that there's a bus stop right at the doors that helps with getting around easily. But there's essentially nothing much in the surroundings. The hotel reception is at the bar, one may mistaken it for the bar counter instead. The lobby has a bar vibe, I guess much in line with the brewery history of this building. Room is a little small for 2 persons, leaves little space for moving around if 2 luggages are opened concurrently. I like the open wardrobe concept but I don't get why the electrical sockets need to be hidden behind the side table. The room is also generally very dim and dark, even with all lights switched on. They also provide a bottle of drinking water, just 1 per day and additional bottles are chargeable. Which I felt was a little rigid considering how expensive a room night costs here. The toilet is separate from the shower area which does not have a door. The standing shower has no shower curtain and is half covered, where the water just spills all over outside of the shower area. The bed is firm and comfortable but pillows are too soft for my liking, hardly any support. Room is always clean, kudos to the housekeeping team. Overall, an acceptable stay, but pricey."

"It’s a new hotel, clean with modern design. The room is big enough for solo traveller. You won’t hear anything from the airport. Great location, the building next to the airport, literally 1min walk. And you can take the tram or buses from airport to the city centre. Breakfast is always the same ( I stayed for 3 days), basic but enough. People working there are friendly, able to communicate with English."

"The hotel is located near the Museum of Modern Art. It's very convenient to get to the airport by bus, and you can also get to the city center by bus or tram. The hotel is very stylish; I've never seen such a thoughtful and detailed interior before, with every single decorative element meticulously crafted. The breakfast is simply incredible; they have everything, including a juicer. The restaurant itself is very beautiful, and there's also a bakery on site."

"The ibis Hotel is located together with its ibis Hotel. Both share the same reception location. The hotel is conveniently just across from the airport. A bus stop is right outside of the hotel building. Busses as frequent as every 10 min during rush hour could take you to the old town / central train station within 12 min. The hotel is overall clean and with young vibe. 2 hotel restaurants serve from breakfast to dinner. We ate there for one dinner and the foods were great."

"The hotel, which opened 25 years ago, is very new. Its location right opposite the train station is incredibly convenient. The room design is a cool blend of modern and vintage. However, the front desk service wasn't very friendly, especially Diego, who seemed prejudiced against Asians. He initially assigned us a terrible room with high windows that felt like a prison cell. It was only after we found flies in the room that he moved us to a larger one overlooking the train station. This shows the hotel clearly had better rooms available, and as a Marriott member staying for three nights, I should have been given a decent room from the start. We accidentally left two hats in the closet of the first room, and it took two days and many conversations to get them back; they seemed completely unconcerned. On the other hand, another front desk staff member, Augustine, was fantastic. He had a sweet smile throughout and genuinely provided excellent service. He truly deserves a promotion!"

The location of the hotel is maybe not the best for families because it is surrounded by gentleman's clubs and possibly the red light area of Luxembourg. We didn't see anything too bad but would exercise a degree of caution in this area. There are a few restaurants, bars and quite a few shops nearby. We booked this hotel mainly because it was affordable and would consider staying here again to save some money while travelling through Europe. Being here during the Christmas Market season was fantastic and there are lots of nice things to do around the city."

Getting around the city is easy with frequent teams, busses and trains from the nearby station and all public transport is free within the country! The room was good and the beds/pillow were comfy. The room is a bit small but we had enough space to put our things including some space under the bed for our bags. The place was far from the city centre. It’s in the middle of a lush forest, and there’s direct bus 4 and 32 going to the city centre every 30 minutes or so. All public transports are free in Luxembourg. There’s a self-serviced supermarket and a few salons owned by the hotel in the same building. It’s equipped with a swimming pool and gym, but there was no time to try them out. Breakfast was worth it, so it’s best if you book the hotel with breakfast on trip.com rather than adding it when you’re in the hotel, since it costs €16 for breakfast pre-booking 1 night before and €23 for the same-day booking. There are free cookies given to patrons during check-in and upon request too from 10 a.m. and they are delish! So far, Luxembourg is not exactly a well-known tourist destination, but it’s an interesting place with an international palate.

The hotel is along a quaint street that's almost like uninhabited on a Sunday. I like that there's a bus stop right at the doors that helps with getting around easily. But there's essentially nothing much in the surroundings. The hotel reception is at the bar, one may mistaken it for the bar counter instead. The lobby has a bar vibe, I guess much in line with the brewery history of this building. Room is a little small for 2 persons, leaves little space for moving around if 2 luggages are opened concurrently. I like the open wardrobe concept but I don't get why the electrical sockets need to be hidden behind the side table. The room is also generally very dim and dark, even with all lights switched on. They also provide a bottle of drinking water, just 1 per day and additional bottles are chargeable. Which I felt was a little rigid considering how expensive a room night costs here. The toilet is separate from the shower area which does not have a door. The standing shower has no shower curtain and is half covered, where the water just spills all over outside of the shower area. The bed is firm and comfortable but pillows are too soft for my liking, hardly any support. Room is always clean, kudos to the housekeeping team. Overall, an acceptable stay, but pricey.

Hotel is good situated near city center and parks. Hotel is big but has only restaurant for breakfast and bar and some gold shops as amenities. Breakfast is kinda modest compared to other 4 stars. The building is kinda old and the room had some smell from pipes which required opening windows even it’s cold, room service tried to solve it but it really depends on building. The personnel is friendly, kind and eager to help.

The hotel has a beautiful view over Luxembourg and the cocktail bar takes full advantage of them. Rooms are comfortable with water and soft drinks provided in the mini bar. The staff were lovely and friendly too. There is no free parking but there is a car park under the hotel which worked out at around 35 euros a day. We didn't have breakfast in the hotel - it was very expensive at 37 euros per person, but there are several lovely cafes and restaurants in town serving brunch/breakfast for half the price - we very much enjoyed Kostas cafe. All in all, a good place to stay in Luxembourg if you want comfort, views and warm, friendly staff.

Overall, a good experience. There's a bus stop nearby. It's located in the Upper District, and across the road, there's a hill you can walk up to reach the Lower District, offering some nice scenery. It's within walking distance or a short bus ride to several popular attractions. The hotel's environment and facilities are quite new, making for a comfortable stay. The breakfast looked substantial enough to fill you up, but I didn't add it, so I can't comment on the taste.

The single room I booked was clean, but quite small and simple - I would even call it spartan. The staff was not very friendly; I would have expected a bit more. Still, I was not turned away :). The location is convenient, close to both the historical center and the European Quarter. I would stay there again, but without any high expectations.

Nice, modern and new built hotel with very helpful, friendly and professional members of staff. Good breakfast, the hotel is right next to the massive shopping centre with huge Ashan food store, the buses/tram stops to the city centre/airport are within 5 minutes walk. Free luggage storage and 24 hours tea/coffee machine in the hall, good rooms noise isolation. Viktor

The room was really spacious, with a lovely small lawn outside the window that looked like a prairie. It was super convenient to take the free shuttle into town to explore. We stayed out until past 10 PM, then took three different buses back. Even though it was summer, I was practically freezing by the time we got back in the middle of the night. One thing I definitely have to commend the hotel for: I accidentally left my car keys on the sofa by the entrance and only realized they were missing when I got back late. I rushed to the front desk, and even though the shift had changed, they thankfully found them in a drawer. Even more coincidentally, I met the family who found the keys right there at the front desk. Everyone was so kind, and I'm incredibly grateful. Losing them would have absolutely ruined our entire trip!
