The hotel is located by the lake and is uniquely located. Open the window, it is the blue wave of the lake, the mountains in the distance are rolling, the clouds are lingering, like a natural ink painting. In the early morning, I was awakened by the first ray of sunlight and birdsong, opened the curtains, the lake was sparkling, the mist was light, like a dream. In the evening, sit on the terrace or on the lake benches and enjoy the sunset. The sky is dyed bright orange and red, and the lake is reflected in the sunset, which is suffocating. Een prima hotel om te overnachten na musea bezoekjes in Doesburg en Ruurlo. De kamer was schoon, helaas ontbraken de toegezegde badjassen, slippers en de vulling van de minibar. Maar na melding werd het keurig opgelost, jammer dat de blikjes en flesjes niet even ín de minibar waren gezet. Lauwe wijn en blikjes bier...... Het kingsize bed had een goede matras, de jacuzzi werkte (wel ontbraken er wat dopjes) en het ontbijt was keurig verzorgd. Helemaal goed voor een overnachting!

The hotel staff was extremely helpful. The people were extremely nice and staff was super helpful. I forgot the charger and travelling solo it is quite a bad situation to be in. But the hotel staff was super supportive.

Wij hebben een fijne tijd gehad in het hotel. We vonden alleen het ontbijt heel armoedig voor mij als glutenvrij persoon en de broodjes werden zo laat gebracht dat mijn gezin steeds al klaar was met eten en ik nog moest beginnen

Decent sized room, reasonably priced. Although we didn’t have dinner there (attending a concert which ended much later than the dinner service), the option was available. Comfortable beds and pillows, bathroom had a generous sized walk in shower (very easily accessible for visitors with limited mobility. Although other guests had alleged issues regarding the renovation works, we were fortunate that this didn’t affect our stay. The hotel appears to have taken onboard earlier reviews mentioning tired decor - we can attest to the fact that the hotel are implementing some significant improvements. Friendly and welcoming staff. Would love the opportunity to return and see more of the area.

Although the room is small, the overall service, hygiene and environment are good.

The room was not warm and the toilet glasses were very loose. When we indicated this, good action was taken. This was just good. The service was also clean and friendly. The dinner in the restaurant was certainly not good. Basic dishes were already quite at the price you have to order vegetables and potatoes or potatoes. Then it becomes very priced. The portions were very small and partly not at temperature. Really a cutter. So, hotel good, restaurant not good in food.

I stayed here for 5 nights. The hotel is in a good location. It’s close to the train station. The closest park is 6 min walk from the hotel. The amenities can be requested from the front desk. The room is small but sufficient for a one person traveler. The bed is a single bed and quite small. The bathroom is also small. The shower section is partitioned by a glass but it covers only 50%, so the water will splash outside the shower section when you take a shower. The floor is usually wet after a shower. At the lobby, there is a meeting section, you can have a business meeting there. Coffee is also free at the lobby. Recommended for business trip. Not many restaurants nearby, but there are many restaurants in the 10-15 minute walking range.
