"The hotel was located in a quiet area. Check-in took a little while. There was a Japanese staff member at the front desk, which made communication easy. As a Japanese person, having a bathtub in the room was a great plus. It took a little time for the hot water to come out. Two bottles of mineral water were provided per night. Other beverages in the room's mini-bar were chargeable. Breakfast was quite substantial. Dinner was also available at the hotel's restaurant. ALEYNA, who worked at the restaurant on the lobby floor, was charming, had a lovely smile, and provided very friendly service. I was asked to write a review, and after posting it on the same day, I found a thank-you note tucked under my door the next morning. There was also a Turkish tea service in the lobby. It was a very pleasant stay."

"My friend booked a cave suite, and I opted for a panoramic room for the window, even though it wasn't a suite and was 100 lira more expensive per night than the cave suite. I felt the cave suite, despite having no window, was actually bigger. The breakfast spread had a lot of items, but only a few were edible; mostly appetizers and dips. For lunch, I ordered ravioli at the restaurant – absolute disaster! It was so bad I spat it out after one bite because the pasta tasted undercooked. I reported it to the front desk manager, and they waived the charge, which was about 50-60 lira. I originally wanted the hotel to book a Turkish Night show for me, but they only accepted cash. After checking online, I found the restaurant they booked for it had terrible reviews, so I canceled. The welcome fruit, which I redeemed with 1 point, wasn't delivered. After I contacted customer service, they sent a replacement of fruit, snacks, and drinks. Later, they also provided sunset drinks. The hotel's attitude was very good and generous about this. I heard the manager is Chinese, and they seem to understand Chinese business practices well. The room itself was fine, but the location felt less convenient than staying right in Göreme town."

"An interesting cave hotel with a great environment; the hotel itself is a beautiful sight. The room didn't have air conditioning, which made it a bit hot. When I asked, the owner explained that because it's a natural cave, they can't install AC, and suggested they could provide fans in the rooms. Also, the cleaning could be improved; there was a small amount of dust not wiped clean where the cups and kettle are kept. The front desk staff were enthusiastic, and there's a good steakhouse just a few minutes' walk up from the hotel."

"The owner was very kind. The hotel location is on Uchisar area. 10-15 min walk to cappadocia uchisar castle. The room was cozy and perfect for a short-term stay. Bathroom was clean and the staff was spoke in English as well which was very nice. The view was really good (Get to see the top of the hill view) The breakfast was served on time and it was hot breakfast inside the cave ! Variety of dishes including Turkish tradition style pie and cucumbers and tomatoes(Very sweet and firm!) I think it's really great value! I recommend."

"The hotel is a bit far from the city center, about two or three kilometers away. There are many Chinese tour groups there. I had to wait until 4:00 in the afternoon to check in. This was one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the views from the rooms were amazing! The breakfast was lavish and I looked forward to it every morning. The staff were very kind and always polite. The mascot cat, Kuroneko, was also cute. Uchisar is at a higher altitude than Goreme, so the views are generally beautiful and I personally recommend it. (It's not too far from the hot air balloon spot either.) I'd love to stay here again if I come to Cappadocia!

Everything was fine. My only suggestion is to put the hotel restaurant menu in the rooms. Although the prices were normal for the area, we unfortunately did not hear about it until the last day. We would also like to thank the entire team. Quality is quality everywhere.

We booked 3 rooms for a group of 7 people. The air conditioner in one room was not working. When contacted, the staff who was first sent to check, insisted the AC was working and then said it was not the hotel’s problem. This was surprising and disappointing from a pure service perspective given the high reviews this property has across several booking platform. The lady in charge of the evening shift eventually agreed the AC was not working and gave us a basket of fruit as an apology but they were not able to fix the issue until the next day and provided some pedestal fans overnight. They again provided more fruit and bottled water the next morning before we left for our day tour as another apology. However the service (especially the initial reaction by the staff) and amenity scores are heavily impacted by this experience. Another issue was a slight leak from the bathtub in our room which ended up making half the floor wet afterwards every time someone took a shower. This again has resulted in a lower cleanliness and amenity score. The hotel were able to accommodate our request to have rooms on the ground level to avoid too much climbing up and down stairs (we had members of our party who had slight mobility issues) - which was a positive, however, these rooms overlooked the road which the hotel straddles and so fairly loud traffic can be be heard throughout the day and also very early in the morning (3:30am) from those leaving for their hot air balloon trips. The rooms don’t seem to have much sound proofing. Note: this is magnified by the fact that this road is at the top of a hill so motorists have to gun their engines to get to the top making the noise louder. These few issues overshadowed what was otherwise a decent experience. The breakfast buffet is great with a wide variety of options - service was great at the buffet. The rooftop terrace where you can sit and relax and watch the hot air balloons fly overhead early in the morning is another highlight.

Our stay at Sacred House was absolutely wonderful! A big thank you to the hotel manager, who was incredibly kind and patient, and actively went out of their way to help us. We also appreciate the warm-hearted staff who assisted us with our luggage, thoughtfully offering to help carry it. You can really feel the genuine and thoughtful service from the staff everywhere, with heartwarming attention to detail. The hotel's ambiance is fantastic, making it a highly recommended place to stay in Göreme. Our visit was incredibly comfortable and I highly recommend it to everyone!

My friend booked a cave suite, and I opted for a panoramic room for the window, even though it wasn't a suite and was 100 lira more expensive per night than the cave suite. I felt the cave suite, despite having no window, was actually bigger. The breakfast spread had a lot of items, but only a few were edible; mostly appetizers and dips. For lunch, I ordered ravioli at the restaurant – absolute disaster! It was so bad I spat it out after one bite because the pasta tasted undercooked. I reported it to the front desk manager, and they waived the charge, which was about 50-60 lira. I originally wanted the hotel to book a Turkish Night show for me, but they only accepted cash. After checking online, I found the restaurant they booked for it had terrible reviews, so I canceled. The welcome fruit, which I redeemed with 1 point, wasn't delivered. After I contacted customer service, they sent a replacement of fruit, snacks, and drinks. Later, they also provided sunset drinks. The hotel's attitude was very good and generous about this. I heard the manager is Chinese, and they seem to understand Chinese business practices well. The room itself was fine, but the location felt less convenient than staying right in Göreme town.

A beautiful hotel and a wonderful experience. Goreme is so beautiful and this hotel is located not too far from the central places where you can find lots of great restaurants and souvenir shops. The room is naturally cool and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed the whole atmosphere at the hotel and the outside seating areas are perfect for relaxing after a long day of touring. Our stay at Kistar Cave Hotel was nothing short of magical. Nestled in Uchisar, the surroundings are quiet and serene. The hotel offers amazing views of the surrounding caves and landscapes. We intentionally chose a location away from the bustle and Kistar proved to be the perfect retreat - peaceful and secluded, yet still conveniently close to Göreme for exploring. What truly sets Kistar apart is its exceptional hospitality. We were welcomed with genuine warmth that made us feel less like guests and more like family. Each morning began with an unforgettable breakfast lovingly prepared by the anneanneler (Nonnas). It was evident that every detail was crafted with care. From freshly churned yoghurt, an array of homemade jams, freshly baked breads, vibrant salads, and beautifully slow cooked vegetables. Every breakfast felt like a heartfelt feast, and we deeply appreciated the time and effort poured into each spread. Despite the winter chill outside, the rooms were well heated and comfortable. Even when temperatures dipped to zero degrees, we could relax indoors in just a t-shirt. An unexpected treat was to see the hot air balloons take off from our balcony. There are quite a few restaurants near the hotel - from local Turkish food to Asian and Italian. Kistar Cave Hotel is a family-owned gem, and staying here truly feels like being at home, away from home. The owners gave us lovely treats to bring home and we are so touched by their warmth and kindness. For those seeking tranquility, authentic hospitality, and a memorable Cappadocian experience, Kistar is the place to go to.

Goreme Treasure Cave Hotel | Aza gets rave reviews, great value for money! This hotel is a sister property to Sultan Cave Suites, sharing facilities, but Aza offers significantly better value! The rooms are larger, have better views, and even come with their own pools. Crucially, it's much quieter than Sultan – Sultan's front-facing rooms can be noisy due to the restaurant and bar, whereas Aza is completely peaceful, ensuring a good night's sleep. If you value quiet, this is the place to be. (Sometimes you can hear hallway noise when people enter the room next door, but overall it's quiet. However, the stairs can be challenging for elderly guests). The breakfast is incredibly generous, with the scrambled eggs and beef being a must-try. The food is plentiful and satisfying. If you want to see the hot air balloon sunrise, you can head directly to Sultan's observation deck for photos – you get the best of both worlds. The hotel's recommended excursions are a bit pricey; I suggest booking through a restaurant owner in town for much better deals. The SPA experience was a wonderful surprise – professional techniques and just the right amount of pressure. It offers far better value than other places in town and is my top pick for relaxation. What was most heartwarming was that my non-refundable booking dropped in price upon arrival, and Trip.com proactively refunded the difference. The hotel even upgraded me for free to a suite with a fireplace! A staff member kindly helped chop wood and start the fire. Listening to the sound of wood chopping in the courtyard and watching the warm glow of the fire in the room truly enhanced the cave accommodation experience – it was unforgettable. The cave room was very comfortable, the pool view was absolutely stunning, and the overall experience was perfect. If you're coming to Goreme, you can't go wrong with this place!
