"This stay truly exceeded my expectations. Xihai Hotel completely changed my preconceived notions about old-fashioned hotels. The staff were warm and courteous, the room was quite new, and the cleanliness was exceptional – even the disposable slippers were thick and comfortable. Each room also came with a small dryer. In the evenings, the hotel offered outdoor performances, and in the mornings, they organized trips to Danxia Peak for the sunrise. The breakfast was also delicious."

"The front desk staff were incredibly helpful, and the room amenities were excellent. You can use facial recognition to unlock your door, which is very high-tech and convenient. After a long day of sightseeing, it was lovely to come back to the hotel and use their foot bath service – a really thoughtful touch. The location is perfect, right near Leijie Street. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Hefei."

"The hotel's location is excellent, right by the river. The front desk staff, especially the young man, was incredibly helpful and thoughtfully upgraded us to a river-view room. The room was very spacious, and we could watch the boats going by on the river from our window. The breakfast spread was fantastic, with a wide variety of both Chinese and Western options. We also had dinner à la carte on the second floor of the hotel, and the food was delicious."

"Before coming, I compared almost all the hotels and guesthouses on the mountain, and Beihai stood out as having the best value for money. The room size was quite decent, and the concierge service from Xinyi was excellent – she was very knowledgeable about the surrounding attractions and routes. The location is also good; it's about a 10-minute walk to Monkey Watching the Sea, which is currently the closest viewpoint for sunrise. Bright Summit is a bit further, probably a 45-minute to an hour walk for the average person. The closest to the hotel is the Yungu cable car, about a 20-minute walk, making it very convenient for going up and down the mountain. The hotel restaurant's breakfast spread was very generous, and the à la carte dinner dishes were also delicious, especially the bamboo shoots and the old chicken soup – so fragrant! The hotel staff were all friendly and welcoming. There's also a cat named Yundou, who's plump and adorable and often wanders around the hotel entrance early in the morning. Right outside the hotel, there's also a medical station, a police station, and a coffee shop, which makes the facilities incredibly convenient. While prices on the mountain are high, it's understandable, considering all the food and drinks are carried up by porters. I hope they are compensated fairly for their hard work. Overall, it was a good experience, and the money was well spent."

"The hotel facilities are a bit old, but very well-maintained. The high-floor river view rooms offer breathtaking panoramic views of the vast river and slowly moving ships – truly picturesque. A short walk along the riverfront takes you to the old Customs House and Zhongjiang Tower, and following the Qingyi River path leads to Wuhu Ancient Town. The breakfast spread is generous, and the homemade cookies as a welcome gift upon check-in were a very thoughtful touch."

"I highly recommend the Shangri-La Hefei! My recent business trip was absolutely flawless, and I have to give a special shout-out to Sara from Guest Relations. Even before I arrived, I coordinated my check-in needs with Sara. She was incredibly professional and attentive, proactively confirming my arrival time. Knowing I had business meetings, she specially arranged a high-floor room with a great view and even kindly upgraded my room type free of charge. The room itself was spacious and tidy, with panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offering expansive views. The mattress was just right – not too soft, not too hard – and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring I could relax peacefully after a busy day. During my stay, Sara was always quick to respond to any questions, meticulously explaining the hotel's amenities: a 24-hour heated gym, an indoor pool, and afternoon tea at the Horizon Club Lounge. The breakfast buffet at Cafe Wan offered a rich variety, and the local Huainan Beef Soup was authentically delicious. Housekeeping kept my room spotless daily. The welcome fruit and handwritten card left in my room upon arrival truly showed their thoughtful attention to detail. Excellently located, the hotel offers free parking for self-drivers and convenient EV charging stations. The entire staff, from front desk to concierge, provided warm and courteous service, perfectly embodying the Shangri-La's commitment to guest care. Sara, in particular, was gentle and thorough, following up on my stay throughout and providing service that was just right, never intrusive. I will definitely choose this hotel again for future business trips or leisure stays in Hefei. I sincerely recommend it to all business travelers!"

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Five-star praise! This time I stayed at Wuhu Golden Eagle International Hotel and had a great experience. I must praise the service of the hotel staff. The check-in at the front desk was efficient and smooth, the staff was gentle and courteous, and took the initiative to inform the hotel facilities, parking and breakfast-related information; the bellman took the initiative to help transport the luggage, and responded quickly if there was a need. The room service is meticulous, the room is clean and tidy, the bedding is comfortable, and the panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows have a wide view. The hotel is fully furnished, and the heated swimming pool and gym can be used normally. The location is excellent, the business district is downstairs, and it is very convenient to travel and eat. The staff is professional and measured, intimate and not disturbed, and feel at home throughout the whole process. Whether it is a business trip or a tourist stay, it is very suitable. I will choose here next time I return to Wuhu. It is highly recommended!"

"❤️ Most of the hotel staff were very enthusiastic, and they even gave my child a small snack bag when we checked in. Someone also helped us with the elevator. Most of the buffet staff were quite warm and attentive. The bartenders in the executive lounge and the staff member who was in charge of tidying up the afternoon tea dessert area were excellent. The swimming pool is superb! On the day we checked in, the pool attendants during the day – a middle-aged male staff member and a young male staff member – were both incredibly thoughtful! We didn't have swim caps, so they brought us spare ones. They even offered to inflate the swimming ring I bought! ⭕ On the average side: The welcome fruit didn't arrive for a long time on the day of check-in. It only came after I prompted them via WeChat two hours after checking in. ❌ On the negative side: The staff member behind the front desk at the entrance of the executive lounge on the day of check-in was not enthusiastic at all. After we finished eating and left, she acted as if she didn't see us as we walked past her, offering no polite farewell. This made us feel very uncomfortable."

"I stayed here a few years ago and had a great experience, so when I was passing through Hefei again, I chose the Grand Hyatt! The service is consistently excellent, and they even upgraded me to a suite for free. The first time I stayed here, I was also in a suite, and I really love the layout of the suites. The living room is quite spacious, the TV can cast content, and the night view from the corner window is absolutely fantastic! The soundproofing in the room is good, which is great for light sleepers. The lighting design is also very reasonable, the air conditioning is comfortable, and it has a double-sink vanity. The only minor drawback is that it's not a smart toilet. There are a limited number of parking spaces in front of the hotel. Although I called ahead to reserve a spot and was told they'd call back, I never received a call. When I arrived, I waited a bit, and a car just happened to leave, so I got a spot. I think this point is a slight deficiency; their internal coordination wasn't great. The location is excellent; MixC shopping mall is right downstairs. But every advantage has its disadvantage – it gets very congested! There's no robot delivery for takeout, so you need to pick it up yourself, but if you contact the butler, they can help deliver it. Overall, the stay was quite good. I'll definitely choose the Grand Hyatt again next time I'm in Hefei!"
