"Cold water bottles provided straight from the fridge once we got in, check in took a few minutes but a whole tour group came in before us and the staff were great with using a translation app to book us in. Every stop at the elevator had more water bottles to go. The view from our room was spectacular- 100% worth paying a bit extra for. The room itself was nice, clean but the carpets were a bit grubby looking, I’m sure they were cleaned but they were showing their age a bit. The room announces itself to you every time you come in which was a bit annoying but minorly so. The shower was good, always hot water available and the room provided amenities, toothbrush, toothpaste, comb, vanity kit etc, and had a hair drier and charging cables, which I thought was a nice touch. Bedside tables had charging ports as well as outlets for both types of chinese plugs. All in all a really comfortable hotel stay. Would come back again"

"Traveling with my 80-year-old parents, the hotel provided incredibly thoughtful and attentive service. The hotel's location is superb, right by the city wall. From the open-air restaurant on the 5th floor, you can enjoy a beautiful view of the city wall, especially stunning at night. The hotel's exterior is a sight in itself, and I absolutely loved the ancient Tang-style interior design. Facilities are well-equipped, convenient to use, clean, and tidy. Every single staff member offered considerate and meticulous service, high in standard and never stingy. I highly recommend this hotel!"

"This hotel is located in the heart of Xi'an, offering extremely convenient transportation. There's a subway station right outside, as well as a tourist service center for trips to the Terracotta Army. The Bell Tower and city tour bus stops are also very close by. Despite being in a bustling area, the hotel's location is surprisingly quiet. Furthermore, the hotel's facilities, rooms, and cleanliness all meet star-rated standards. I highly recommend this hotel to first-time visitors to Xi'an."

"This hotel is absolutely divine! If you're coming to Xi'an, I'd even say it's a must-visit in itself. First off, it's right by the Huaqing Palace, with a private entrance for free and unlimited access. Every room also has its own hot spring pool. They include complimentary tickets for two to Baoji Pool. The complimentary travel photoshoot is super popular; we couldn't book it when we arrived, so definitely reserve in advance. The staff are incredibly enthusiastic. For a room costing just over 1000, it felt like an absolute steal. The service is miles better than a certain hotel in West Lake where I paid over 3000 before. In the evening, they even have staff escort you to see the 'Song of Everlasting Sorrow' performance, with a hotel-exclusive通道 (access), so no need to queue up early. At this time of year, the first show at 8 PM is already completely dark, allowing you to fully experience the lighting effects. The complimentary sweet soup in the evening was delicious too. Honestly, with all these value-added services, it felt like the room itself was free, haha. Also, the hotel restaurant is genuinely delicious! I usually don't like eating at hotel restaurants, but the food here is really good and highly recommended!"

"The gym is not a gym. It is a laundry room with a cheap looking bike in it. Might be a treadmill as well. The laundry room is very useful. There are 3 washers and 3 dryers. There could be a system to help manage people's washes so that the machines were not left standing full as when I tried to use them they were all in use for most of the evening. The biggest problem I had in an otherwise good stay was that the amount of dust in the rooms. On all surfaces (pictured some dust on the phone and a thick layer on the projector) there is dust. When I reported this a quick wipe of the projector was done but no apology or anything like this and no other areas were dusted. The room (and probably hotel) needs a deep clean. The projector worked easily enough for me and was good, though I took my own hdmi cable that I plugged into the back, rather than using their system which I had no idea how to use and didn't see any instructions. Overall this hotel was good enough and good for the price but not as good as the rating suggests or the list of amenities could be."

"The location of Aman Hotel is truly excellent. I was able to take the subway directly from Xi'an North Station, and the hotel even informed me in advance that it's closer to use the hotel's back entrance from the subway exit. My train arrived early, and the hotel prioritized cleaning my room. The hotel is on Ci'en West Road, and from the back entrance, it's just a few minutes' walk to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and Datang Everbright City. It was also very convenient for me to visit the Shaanxi History Museum. Secondly, the hotel environment is also very nice. I really liked the Tang Dynasty style and the Dunhuang murals. The front desk even arranged my booked room on the second floor, and sitting outside was incredibly comfortable. The cleanliness inside the room was also very good; it was spacious, equipped with a smart toilet, and the bathroom had a wet/dry separation. The bedding was comfortable, making the stay extremely pleasant. The front desk service was attentive and thoughtful; as it was my first time in Xi'an, they patiently answered all my travel questions, making me feel right at home. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit."

"Disappointing Stay Despite an Impressive Suite We were really looking forward to our stay at the Sheraton Xi’an North City Hotel, particularly as we had booked an Executive Suite. Unfortunately, while the suite looked impressive at first glance, our overall experience was disappointing and fell short of the standard we had experienced at the other hotels during our trip. The main issue was the air conditioning, which simply did not cool the room adequately. The temperature remained around 27°C, making it difficult to relax or sleep comfortably. The solution offered by the hotel was to provide two portable air coolers, but unfortunately these made little difference to the room temperature. For a hotel of this standard, we would have expected the air conditioning to be functioning properly rather than relying on portable units. There were also issues with the fridge/minibar and room service. After checking in, we noticed that the fridge/minibar had not been stocked and contacted reception to ask about it. Unfortunately, communication was difficult, and after around 40 minutes we were still waiting for an answer. We were told that a manager would call us back, but this did not happen. Eventually, someone came to the room and explained that if we wanted drinks, we would need to order them through room service. This would have been acceptable had room service been reasonably prompt, but on the two occasions we ordered, delivery took around an hour. To be fair, however, the food itself was very good once it arrived. Housekeeping was another area where we were disappointed. On the day before checkout, towels had been left in the bath as a clear indication that they needed replacing. When we returned late that evening after a full day of sightseeing, the towels had still not been replaced and the bed had not been made. Fresh bottles of water had been left, so there had clearly been some room servicing, but the incomplete housekeeping was disappointing. There were also some cleanliness issues within the suite. Although it looked impressive, closer inspection revealed dirty marks on the mirror and tabletops, while the safe contained a noticeable amount of dust. More concerningly, we found part of what appeared to be a medical tablet inside the safe. These are small details individually, but together they suggested that the room had not received the level of detailed cleaning we would expect before a new guest arrived. We don't want this review to appear unfair, because there were positives. The Executive Suite itself was spacious and had the potential to be an excellent room, and, as mentioned, the food we ordered from room service was very good. The problems were also not about the friendliness of individual staff members; rather, they concerned communication, follow-through, housekeeping and the resolution of basic room issues. Overall, it was a shame because we had been looking forward to our stay here. Unfortunately, the combination of an uncomfortable room temperature, delays in resolving the minibar issue, slow room service and inconsistent housekeeping meant that the stay was not the relaxing experience we had hoped for. Compared with the other hotels we stayed in during our trip, the Sheraton Xi’an North City lacked consistency in several areas that are important to us. We hope the hotel will take this feedback constructively, as with better attention to maintenance, housekeeping and service follow-through, the property could deliver a much better guest experience."

"This hotel is the top choice in the Yulin area for 400 yuan, and the price is set just right. The overall style is impeccable and perfectly aligns with Marriott's brand essence. The room size, cleanliness, and breakfast are all excellent – definitely a hotel where you won't be disappointed. My review is likely the first on Trip.com, so I made sure to thoroughly experience the entire hotel. A special shout-out to the front desk staff who checked me in on my arrival day; they seemed to be a manager-level employee, very professional and excellent at understanding guest needs."

"The hotel service is fantastic! Especially the front desk and restaurant staff, who are always ready to help and incredibly warm, truly matching the service level of a five-star hotel. After checking in, we received fresh fruit every day, and there was even a late-night snack available after 9 PM. The hotel environment is excellent, located right inside a wetland park. The only minor downside is that the TV doesn't support screen mirroring, which I hope they can improve. After checking out, we even received a parting gift (four bags of tea)!"

"This hotel was by far the highlight of our trip to Xi’an. The interior blends Tang-inspired aesthetics with a modern minimalist design, creating a space that feels both refined and incredibly comfortable. The communal areas on the ground floor and the tea space on the fourth floor are perfect for unwinding. Each day, guests are offered a complimentary coffee as well as drinks at the bar across the street, which is a thoughtful touch. The front desk staff are also exceptionally professional — noticeably above the standard we’ve experienced at many other hotels."
