"The hotel was unexpectedly great! I had originally booked a twin-bed standard room but accidentally got a king-size one. The front desk lady, Mengjie, was very understanding and helped me switch to a twin-bed room. The room was spacious and very well-designed. What's more, she knew I had an early train to catch the next morning, so she not only gave us complimentary breakfast but also arranged for us to have it early and even provided a car to take us to the train station. The hotel breakfast was also excellent; despite us eating half an hour early to catch our train, there was a rich variety of dishes. The restaurant staff, especially Xiao Wang, provided wonderful service and even arranged two servings of nut yogurt for us. It truly felt like a home away from home, I was so touched! Definitely a five-star rating!!!"

"My stay at this Solo Starry Camp exceeded my expectations, and I have to give a huge shout-out to my dedicated butler! Before my arrival, the butler proactively contacted me, thoughtfully sending check-in tips including the room's Wi-Fi password, meal times and locations for all three meals, and even sent the restaurant menu in advance for our reference. What's more, they meticulously organized a travel guide for Water Yadan, truly considering every aspect. During my stay, no matter what questions I had, the butler always responded promptly and patiently. Their quick responses throughout made all the difference, and their attention to detail was incredibly heartwarming. Being in the vast and desolate Gobi, I was initially worried about various inconveniences on the journey. However, thanks to the butler's meticulous and thoughtful service, all my concerns melted away, making us feel completely at ease in the wilderness. The camp's scenery is absolutely stunning, and the views of Water Yadan are breathtaking. At night, you can even see a sky full of brilliant stars. But what impressed me most was the butler's genuine attentiveness – it wasn't just a procedural reception, but rather a focus on understanding and anticipating the guests' needs from their perspective. This was a truly healing and unforgettable journey through the Northwest wilderness. I highly recommend it! Next time I return to this Gobi, I'll definitely look for this same butler, eagerly anticipating another trip under the starry sky 🌌"

"I stayed in a private bed room this time, not a dormitory. The room was very clean, with no strange smells, and the bathroom and shower were also spotless, with no mold issues. I was on the third floor. It's worth noting that smoking is allowed in this building. Someone was smoking in the lobby on the first floor, and the smoke would drift up the hallway. Even with the window open and the exhaust fan on, the smell of smoke from the hallway and neighboring rooms would sometimes seep into my room through the gap under the door. The soundproofing of the room was also just average, which was a bit of a shame. Closing the window and turning off the exhaust fan significantly reduced the smoke smell. I later bought masking tape from a nearby stationery shop and sealed the gaps around my door every night, which worked very well. It seems that Gansu and Qinghai are generally more tolerant of smoking compared to other places. Overall, though, the room was very clean and odorless, and I slept well at night. It was a good stay overall."

"This time, I took annual leave and brought my mom to Xining before the National Day holiday. I chose this Sofitel hotel on Trip.com. Three days before check-in, I received a confirmation call from the hotel and added the concierge on WeChat, which felt quite friendly. Upon arrival, due to weather issues, our flight was delayed by about an hour, and it was already past 10 PM. The front desk lady was still fully focused and quickly handled our check-in, also providing some tips about the weather and getting around. The room was quite spacious and even had a humidifier. For some reason, my lips felt very dry during my stay in Xining, but I didn't have that feeling back in Shanghai. The bed was soft yet supportive, and my back felt very comfortable after a night's sleep. The pillows were also suitable, and my neck and shoulders didn't ache. The teabags provided in the room were also very fragrant and not bitter. The toilet paper was thick and reassuring to use. The housekeeping lady even left a handwritten card, which felt very heartwarming. The hotel's second-floor banquet hall often hosts wedding banquets. During my stay in Xining, I stumbled upon several weddings, including Tibetan-style ones. I even encountered a lady in ******* traditional dress in the elevator who enthusiastically invited us to observe, allowing us to experience ******* wedding culture. Overall, the Sofitel truly offered good value, even exceeding expectations."

"Booking the Guanhu International Hotel was the smartest decision I made on this Qinghai Lake trip! As the first 5-diamond hotel around the lake, its facilities are truly impressive, but what really made it feel like great value for money was the warm service. I have to give a special shout-out to our little ******* fox butler! They proactively contacted us before check-in to help plan our itinerary. During our stay, whether it was recommending the best sunset viewing spots or promptly responding to our various small requests, the ******* fox butler was incredibly meticulous, gentle, and patient. That feeling of 'everything is taken care of' completely washed away our travel fatigue and truly made us feel at home! The hotel restaurant also gave me a huge surprise! I originally thought dining in a scenic area might be a hit or miss, but the dishes were amazing, and the ingredients were incredibly fresh. From authentic highland beef and lamb to the yak yogurt in the special breakfast, everything was unforgettable. Enjoying delicious food by the window while admiring the vast lake view was a truly wonderful experience. I will definitely choose this place again next time I visit Qinghai Lake!"

"Pros: For its price point, the hygiene, soundproofing, and location are top-notch. It's right next to the train station, and even in a room at the end of the hall, you can't hear any outside noise. Cons: On the night we checked in, I specifically asked the front desk about breakfast times. They only told me 7:00-10:00 but failed to mention that since the hotel shares an entrance and elevators with the Ji Hotel, the restaurant floor can only be accessed with a Ji Hotel key card. Guests staying at Hanting Express are limited to dining at the single table in the lobby, which is less than 20 square meters. This feels like a deliberate concealment. We paid extra for double breakfast portions for both our rooms, but the food was incredibly sparse: only 1 boiled egg, 1 pre-packaged burger/chicken wrap (choose one), and 1 cup of soy milk per person. If you wanted more, you had to pay extra. The experience gap between different brands within the same hotel group is huge. Suggestions: 1. Absolutely do not pay extra for breakfast; it's very poor value for money. You're better off grabbing something from a street vendor. 2. I hope the hotel front desk will proactively explain the actual breakfast dining situation to guests who have purchased breakfast during check-in, to reduce negative reviews. Multiple reviews have already stated – had they known the breakfast was like this, they would never have paid extra for it."

"On this business trip to Xining, I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn Xining Chengdong the entire time, and my overall experience was fantastic. I have to especially commend Julie at the front desk; her meticulous service made me feel incredibly welcome. The hotel is located on Bayi East Road in Chengdong District, right next to Wuyue Plaza, making dining and shopping very convenient. It's also not far from the highway entrance and Xining Station, which is great for both driving and public transport. As a newly opened hotel, the lobby design is elegant, and the room amenities are brand new and complete. The floor-to-ceiling windows offer a wide view, and the room was spotlessly clean. The 24-hour gym and self-service laundry facilities are well-equipped, and the breakfast buffet offers a rich variety, including local Qinghai specialties like yak yogurt and甜醅 (sweet fermented oats). I arrived feeling exhausted in the evening after a long journey. Julie greeted me with a constant smile and efficiently handled the check-in process. Seeing my heavy luggage, she proactively offered to help carry it and patiently explained the room facilities, Wi-Fi password, laundry room, and breakfast times. When I casually asked about self-driving routes to Qinghai Lake and local food spots, she patiently outlined an itinerary, even recommending niche attractions and reminding me about precautions for high-altitude travel. When my room card stopped working, I contacted the front desk and Julie came to resolve the issue within minutes, without any pretense. Her service was professional yet down-to-earth throughout, without any rigid formalities; she genuinely thought about the guests. While good hardware is a hotel's foundation, warm service is what truly adds value. Thanks to Julie's thoughtful service, my travel fatigue disappeared. I'll definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Xining, and I highly recommend it to everyone!"

"The room was wide, clean and tidy, the indoor facilities were good, the experience was very good, and I stayed for 3 nights. Breakfast is also good. The manager is very easy-going and feels at home. Although close to the high-speed rail station, it is not noisy and sleeps well. The museum is wonderful!"

"The room was very spacious, which is great for the Chaka Salt Lake area. It also has the best exterior on the street. The hotel had a group checking in on the same day, and they thoughtfully suggested we eat breakfast during off-peak hours. They gave us a room on the salt lake side, and we could see the salt lake right from our room! Highly recommend!"
