Good modern hotel for the prices and handy for the airport with the paid Shuttle service although at £4 per person that is high. When I first looked in to going there, the online advice stated clearly that public service buses also go there or nearby en route to/from Bishops Stortford. As the shutlle driver told us ”No, they haven't not in my 11 years in this job”. In fact the nearest public bus stop is stated online to be 500 metres away at Endeavour House. It seems further and there is no path, you have to walk unsafely on the grass verges along the busy roads. The Holiday Inn staff admitted ”Yes we like to keep you as a captive audience”. They suggested we pay £4 each on the shuttle , go back to the airport and get a bus or train from there for Bishops Stortford. So basically visitors like me can't use our free bus pass. We have travelled often to/from Stansted and spending time and money in the town is a favourite part. Indeed how many visitors never get to sample its benefits? My suggestion is that the Hotels sharing this shuttle service also allow it to pick up and drop people off at Endeavour House, for free, having paid the one-off £4 fare. For us, we'll probably stay elsewhere closer to the public bus service.

Just a few points of feedback: I paid for breakfast up front - which was meant to be open from 7am. However, what really happened was that breakfast (prepared by the Receptionist - who was very helpful) started to be prepared from 7am-ish. Coffee, microwave toastie, juice etc duly handed over in a paper bag (I was not the only one waiting) - but this was not ready 'till ~7.20am. Makes a difference if you need to eat and get on your way. Also, £2.50 for the car-park - why? It's not the money - just the impression given. The restaurant is Indian cooking - which I enjoyed. Waiter was pleasant and efficient. Room was basic. Clean but a few cobwebs in the cupboards. No AC.

Staff were friendly on arrival and in restaurant in the evening. Location fairly easy to get to if arriving by bus at the airport (10min walk) as signposted. Breakfast available from 4am but not as good as last time, although lots of options (no mushrooms nor fried eggs). We paid the extra for a runway view, worth it if you're an aeroplane fan.

Very surprised by this hotel as my partner had stayed here a few years back and wasn’ti pressed… but this time, from start to finish, a really pleasant stay. Lady on reception (early evening of 10th April) was an absolute delight. So helpful and so friendly. We had two dogs with us and she told us all the areas the dogs could go and that they could even have breakfast with us if we sat in a certain place. It’s not often you get treated like that when you have dogs… more so seen as a hindrance. The room was very clean and bright. Pillows a bit hard but that’s down to preference. Shower was great, very powerful with shampoo, conditioner and show gel complimentary! Breakfast was fantastic. A lot of choice and good quality. All in all, a great stay.

We’ve stayed at the Radisson Blu Stansted many times and it’s always our first choice when flying from Stansted, especially for an early morning flight. The biggest advantage is the location. Being right next to the airport means you can get a proper night’s sleep, wake up and head straight over to the terminal without worrying about a long transfer, shuttle bus or early-morning drive. Our usual routine is to park in the multi-storey car park next door and leave the car there for the full duration of our trip. It makes the whole journey much easier, particularly when travelling with luggage or as a family. For us, the convenience is what keeps us coming back. If you have an early flight from Stansted and want the easiest possible start to your holiday, this hotel is definitely worth considering.

Our stay was really good as I was worried being a holiday Inn , but how wrong was it supassed all my expectations from the quality of food to the amenities to the welcoming of the staff when you walk through the door. Would I stay here again? Definitely we had the best weekend using the spa facilities the Marco Perry restaurant and all the other amenities that were available. It was a Very pleasant stay and we were made to feel very welcome. The rooms were really lovely. We got free upgrade when we arrived which was a lovely thing as it was my birthday. They're just really lovely. The beds were comfortable. There were extra pillows if you needed them as well . The only thing is you have to pay for your parking there which was quite expensive. £24, but you know apart from that everything else was really lovely and we really enjoyed our weekend. The swimming pool , Sauna jacuzzi, and steam room was great way to spend our last afternoon and all free , they also provided you with towels . The breakfast was lovely lots of choice and there is a Marco Perrie restaurant on site , but there was also another menu if you wanted something more simpler to eat to sit around the bar area .

Excellent venue and overall a really lovely stay. The hotel is in a great location, the bar area was lovely and the staff were all very friendly and welcoming. The massage was great, although we were a little confused as to why we couldn’t book two treatments together but were able to book them separately. Our room was beautiful, but the pillows were far too soft for me and I struggled to get comfortable. It would be great if there was a choice of pillow firmness to suit different preferences. Parking was probably the biggest downside. There was a wedding and a funeral taking place around the same time, which made parking quite difficult, although by the following morning there was plenty of space. We weren’t able to book the restaurant, but we sat outside instead which actually worked out really well, and the food was great. There is a selection of free breakfast for guest which when we wasn’t that hungry eliminated the stress to eat a large breakfast for large prices. I’d definitely recommend the Roslin Beach Hotel. The only thing that would really elevate it for a retreat or relaxing stay would be the addition of a pool or spa area.

Stayed at the Novotel to front and back end a day trip to Edinburgh. Really convenient location for the airport with the regular shuttle bus running every 30 minutes to the terminal and back. Comfortable accommodation, staff in the restaurant were great and being a solo traveller I felt at ease. Would definitely stay again.

The hotel staff were very nice and kind. Upon arrival we had a lot of bags and the staff made sure we got a room on ground floor and there was a trolley to move our items at once. We were indoors all the time so cleaning staff left our room to give us privacy. Next morning we requested to have our room cleaned and in 5 mins there was someone there to clean. So efficient!!
