"By far the worst hotel experience I have ever had, and I will not be coming back when I return to Budapest. First thing was the booking details, which clearly stated ”1 full bed”. However when I got to the hotel room, there were two TINY beds instead. If I laid perfectly straight on these beds, my arms nearly fall off the sides. I go to reception and the blonde woman who was there at 11:10pm on Wednesday May 20th told me ”we don't have any large beds in Hungary, we just push two small beds together.” This is a lie, I had just spent 8 days in Budapest at the Park Plaza (also a 4 star hotel) and I slept in a single very large bed every night. When I mentioned this, she just shrugged. No apologies. Why does this matter? Two mattresses pushed together creates a gap that results in aggravating back pain, especially for anyone with spine misalignment like I have. I booked this hotel to go to the airport energized and refreshed, instead I get to go on my international flight exhausted with extreme back pain. Second issue was the water, the absolute hottest that it got was lukewarm. I asked reception about this issue too, same woman said she'd look into it. It was never fixed, no apologies for the inconvenience again. The room was hotter than the ”hot” water. The only positives about this hotel were the decent breakfast and free airport shuttle, but I'd rather have spent $8 on an Uber and had a full bed as promised. I'll be staying at the Ibis Styles or TRIBE next time. They probably don't lie about their rooms."

"The room was as cute as pictured. I stayed for 3 days, but I was bothered by the smell in the bathroom. I don't think the exhaust fan was working. It was fine when showering, but it was a shame that there was a strong sewage smell when I woke up and went to the bathroom or before showering. Also, there are shops within walking distance of the hotel, but after 8 PM, when it gets dark, I felt that the area was less safe compared to the Buda Castle area. The subway and buses were very convenient as they accepted credit card tap payments, but I think it would be more economical for guests staying at this hotel to buy and use a pass. The subway fare was a flat 500 HUF, regardless of distance."

"Breakfast was included in the price, and we were always full. They had three types of cheese, two kinds of sausage, coffee, tea, and juices. Sometimes fruit would run out early, but then everyone would get some. There were also scrambled eggs, beans, vegetables, and delicious pastries. Cereal was available for kids. Our room was 509. The air conditioning worked well, but it was positioned right in front of the bed and blew directly on us. Towels were changed daily, and they provided water. We checked out late at night, and they kindly prepared a takeaway breakfast for us beforehand. They were very thoughtful, wrapping sandwiches with butter, cheese, and sausage in film. The hotel's location is fantastic; you can walk everywhere. Make sure to buy your tram and metro tickets in advance. They are valid for two years from the date of purchase. I didn't know this, hopped on a tram, and within a second and a half, a ticket inspector approached me. I offered him money for the fare, but he demanded a ticket. I was immediately fined 12,000 forints. I didn't even have time to understand what was happening. Despite that, the hotel is good, and I would stay here again. The location is awesome!"

"From the moment we arrived, hotel team was welcoming, professional, and genuinely caring. We were especially impressed by the attention to detail and the kindness shown to us throughout our visit. Due to a flight baggage delay, we were anxious about our journey in Budapest. He was very patient to explain what we can do and the hotel would try to help to collect my luggage when BA delivers the missing baggage to hotel. Every request was handled promptly and thoughtfully, making us feel truly valued as guests. In day two, another front desk staff helped to received the baggages with detail correspondence, this action helped me to do the claim with airline. He was amazingly thoughtful and concidered all my concerns to this matter. At the end of my stay, my family left a backpack in the lobby and called the hotel to find it, the front desk staff quickly helped me to locate my backpack, kept it for my collection. I can’t say more to express my satisfaction to your whole team. Your team’s dedication and passion for providing excellent service made our stay comfortable, relaxing, and memorable. It is clear that you take great pride in ensuring your guests have the best possible experience. Please extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who looked after us. "I used the laundry service at the front desk and was asked if I needed it urgently. I said yes, and they told me it would be ready in 4-6 hours. When I picked it up, the clothes had been washed, put in the dryer, and then just handed back to me. The overall facilities and location were also good."

Everything was handled smoothly and quickly, which is especially important when traveling for business. The breakfast is excellent, high quality, fresh, and with a very good variety. Even during busy hours, everything is well organized and constantly refilled. The staff works very professionally and maintains a pleasant atmosphere. The location is one of the biggest advantages of this hotel. The metro station is just a one-minute walk away, with a direct connection to the city center in about 8–10 minutes. The Arena shopping mall is also very close, so you have everything you need within walking distance, restaurants, shops, and services. Overall, it’s a very convenient and comfortable hotel for business travel. I was very satisfied with my stay and will definitely return again."

"The biggest issue with most chain hotels in Europe during the summer is their energy saving measures… particularly with the air conditioning. It's shockingly bad! First, you have to go downstairs and ask for it to be activated, but even then, you never really have effective control over the temperature. This was the main problem – a hot room due to inadequate AC cooling. Good location, nice rooftop, and attentive staff, but the AC was hot 🥵!"

AAnonymous UserCheck-in time was flexible; we arrived early and were immediately given a room to rest, which was a huge plus for those arriving on early flights. Our standard room was on the 5th floor, a typical hotel room setup with good natural light and plenty of sunshine. The mattress was incredibly comfortable. In contrast, the bathroom had a much more distinctive design. A highlight was the small spa pool on the basement level, which had a unique vibe, wasn't crowded, and was very relaxing. It's complimentary for guests. While the hotel breakfast didn't have a huge selection, everything was relatively tasty, especially the Hungarian baked eggs, which were exactly to my liking. The staff were friendly and helpful. Recommended! PS: There was a wedding party on the day we checked in, and the music was quite loud at night, but fortunately, we couldn't hear it much from the 5th floor.

@@travel_with_the_sunI had a great stay. The staff is very friendly and check-in is quick. Rooms & bathrooms are very clean. Housekeeping is doing a good job. The internet speed is very satisfying. I enjoy the kitchen, which offers plenty of space, well equipped and it even has an oven. I stayed there several times and like it very much. Location is also great, very central and you have all you need just nearby (supermarket, restaurants, snacks/fast-food...) There could be some more activities initiated by the hostel to get people connected. Like cooking, boardgame night, etc...There is a WhatsApp Group, but at the moment I joined the group there were no activities/ chats in the 5 days I've been there.

We were especially impressed by the attention to detail and the kindness shown to us throughout our visit. Due to a flight baggage delay, we were anxious about our journey in Budapest. He was very patient to explain what we can do and the hotel would try to help to collect my luggage when BA delivers the missing baggage to hotel. Every request was handled promptly and thoughtfully, making us feel truly valued as guests. In day two, another front desk staff helped to received the baggages with detail correspondence, this action helped me to do the claim with airline. He was amazingly thoughtful and concidered all my concerns to this matter. At the end of my stay, my family left a backpack in the lobby and called the hotel to find it, the front desk staff quickly helped me to locate my backpack, kept it for my collection. I can’t say more to express my satisfaction to your whole team. Your team’s dedication and passion for providing excellent service made our stay comfortable, relaxing, and memorable. It is clear that you take great pride in ensuring your guests have the best possible experience. Please extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who looked after us. GGuest UserThe Estilo Fashion Hotel has great service, a comfortable room and a good location. We arrived in Budapest much later than expected and were very thankful to the staff and their speedy check in process that allowed us to get to our river cruise reservation on time. The staff were friendly and helpful each time we interacted with them. The location was perfect for us. We were steps away from the Fővám tér station which had metro and tram service to many of Budapest's major sites like the parliament, chain bridge, Buda Castle, Fisherman's Bastion and many more. We were also steps away from the large Central Market Hall and we were on the popular Vaci Street so there were plenty of souvenirs, restaurants, bars, cafes and other conveniences close by. We took the metro from the station by the hotel that gave us easy access to the Kelenfold Station (to get to/from Vienna or Bratislava), The room was compact but there was enough space for all of our things. It was a bit narrow with the placement of the desk and chair at the foot of the bed but we shuffled around to get by. There was a large storage cabinet as well as hangers for our things to help get stuff out of the way. The room has a mini fridge and we got a kettle and tea from the front desk during our stay. The room was quiet and the bed was comfy. The room ran a bit hot but the large window helped bring in some cool and fresh air. The bathroom was good with good shower pressure and plenty of hot water. They have an all in one body wash in the shower and some body lotion by the sink too. We did bring some of our products but the hotel's was decent too. They had a towel rack which made our towels nice and warm and helped dry off our swimming stuff after a nice visit to the Széchenyi Thermal Baths. The breakfast was nice and plentiful. They had very good scrambled eggs, breads and a tray of cured meats and cheeses each day. They also had a good variety of spreads and healthy items to choose from. We liked having yoghurt with a variety of seeds in it. The juice and coffee selection was nice too to help start our day. Getting there early wasn't a big issue for us but we found as it got busier not everything was consistently available.

The front desk staff are also very helpful when you encounter any issues. A special thanks to Mimi from the staff for her help! I didn't have cash and couldn't pay for the bus with my card, so the kind Mimi gave me an unused transportation card 😭. She truly saved my day! Mimi is the definition of a beautiful person with a kind heart! Haha, I wonder if it's appropriate to post her picture here? But she's really amazing! This hostel is great too! The staff were very nice and professional, and the room was clean, tidy and comfortable. I also appreciated that the wake-up call came on time, which was important for my schedule. The room had good basic facilities, including tea, coffee, water and air conditioning, all of which worked well. Reception was also very responsive: when I reported noise from a nearby room late in the evening, after midnight, they reacted quickly and handled the situation, which helped me feel looked after. The only downside was that some small amenities were not provided, such as a toothbrush, cotton pads and slippers, so it is worth bringing your own. Overall, it was a good and reliable stay, especially because of the clean room, helpful staff and quick service from reception.

The location is excellent, within walking distance to two major attractions: Fisherman's Bastion and Buda Castle. If you walk a bit further, you can see the Parliament Building and Chain Bridge at night. The only downside was that on the last night, the couple next door were, uh, *very* loud, and it sounded quite painful. I'm pretty sure the whole building could hear them...
