I booked quite late, so only the lower-floor sea view rooms were available. Even though the hotel facilities are a bit old, it offers great value for money. Falling asleep to the sound of the waves at night was lovely. The hotel provides WeChat-based Chinese customer service, which made communication very convenient. The room was a Japanese-style room with a tatami mat. It was a bit firm, but it was a unique experience and quite nice. On the ninth floor, there's a public bath and private onsens. You can book a time for the private onsen with the front desk in advance. Soaking in the bath while enjoying the sea view was fantastic. The front desk also provided yukata (bathrobes) for guests to choose from. The only downside was that hairdryers were only available in the public bath and private onsens, which was a bit inconvenient. For transfers to and from the high-speed train station, you can book a pick-up/drop-off time on [platform name, e.g., WeChat, Xiaohongshu]. Otherwise, trying to drag luggage up the mountain road is impossible. There aren't many restaurants near the hotel by the sea; you have to climb a 15-minute mountain road closer to the high-speed train station to find eateries. Convenience stores are also near the train station, requiring a 20-minute uphill walk. I recommend buying anything you need beforehand and then taking the shuttle back to the hotel.

The environment here is absolutely amazing, and being able to soak in the hot springs was incredibly relaxing. Breakfast was decent too. However, there were some real pain points. First off, I knew the hotel was on a mountain and that there was a shuttle service. But I didn't realize the shuttle and pedestrians use the same road to go up, which felt quite dangerous. Secondly, the shuttle schedule was infrequent. The biggest issue was that due to a landslide, the later sections of the Izukyu Line were suspended. The hotel's car picked us up at Katase-Shirata, but they wouldn't drop us off there for the return journey. They clearly had a driver picking people up at Katase-Shirata, so why couldn't they just take us with them? Plus, the front desk wasn't clear about this when I asked. The hotel car could only shuttle us to Shimoda Station, which wasted our time. It was a complete rip-off!

I had a wonderful stay during my trip! The location was scenic and peaceful, perfect for unwinding. The accommodations were comfortable and clean, with friendly staff always ready to help. The overall atmosphere made it a relaxing and enjoyable experience. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Our first time in Shizuoka Hotel Accasia Shizuoka is big Classic Old style hotel consists of many restaurants and Banquet facilities Breakfast serving miso soup, udon be able to warm by yourself, rice with curry, Fresh Salad with various dressing, sausage , bread and butter and ice matcha unlimited. Don’t miss sweet one… Pudding Accasia style 🥰 Our in room is OK only one such as very soft bed is not suitable for healthy lovers. Room view not good Possibly we have stayed in lower floor #523 Anyway, happy to stay caused by very good location Not only very close to JR Shizuoka, restaurants in Parches building , Asty , and City Bus stations etc.

The day I stayed, there were a lot of elementary school groups, and the elevator was slow to come because there was only one, which was inconvenient, but other than that it was comfortable. As a precaution against the large group, I decided not to go to the public bath or have breakfast, so I avoided the crowds, but I wish I could have. The view from the window of my room facing south was nothing special, but that was nice.

It was the best place where my wife and I had ever rested. And the hotel and the whole city of Shimoda is a paradise. We liked absolutely everything. And the hotel employee - Kaori, is an exceptional nature person. She gives her work 200% and is the heart of this hotel. Thanks to her scrupulousness, sensitivity and care, there was a feeling that my mother was taking care of us in the hotel. We will definitely come back again! We advise everyone to visit this city and this beautiful hotel at least once. The hotel facilities are quite good; although it's an older hotel, it's clearly been recently renovated. The service was excellent. When we arrived at Izu-Atagawa Station, we hadn't arranged a pick-up with the hotel beforehand, but after a quick call, the front desk immediately sent a driver to get us. He arrived in about ten minutes, which was fantastic! I used the hotel's 11th-floor indoor hot spring and had it practically to myself every time; there was hardly anyone else there. The rooftop hot spring was noticeably more crowded, so I preferred the indoor one. We stayed in the annex, and as previous reviews mentioned, there are a few steps between the two buildings. This was a bit inconvenient for check-in and check-out when carrying luggage, but otherwise, it was fine. There's only one restaurant outside the hotel, but you can also order meals within the hotel, which is quite convenient. The scenery outside the hotel is also very beautiful. Overall, we were satisfied with our stay.

Nice hotel, the environment and other things are very good, the stay experience is satisfactory, the service and convenience are good, the breakfast is also delicious, and it is convenient to go to other places.

A simple spacious room with 4 beds that accommodates our family of 4. The bathroom is rather compact but it's clean. Walking distance to Hamamatsu station with few malls nearby.

Stayed here for a quick business trip and it was a great choice. The location is the biggest plus—it's directly connected to JR Hamamatsu Station, so getting to my meetings was super easy, even with luggage. The room was quiet, clean, and had a decent desk to get some work done. Being in the tallest building in the city, the view from my room was a great bonus to unwind after a long day. The Wi-Fi was fast and stable, which is a must for me. The staff were efficient and professional, making check-in and check-out very smooth. If you’re coming to Hamamatsu for work, this is probably the most convenient place to stay.
