"Things i enjoyed: Clean beach, large pools with playgrounds, friendly staffs. Pools have lifeguards on duty. Huge lobby. Kids fun club is okay. Just that the inflatable playground wasn't very sturdy. Cons: Lack of activities, hallway a big dark at night. One of thhings i wished to do here is atv ride and get a spa massage. But the atv is no longer available. The spas are no longer open. A bit sad. The place have a lot of potential. Went to turtoise information center but no one there. A security staff told us to go to reception for more info but just didn't have enough time to. The place is huge. Food is a bit pricey but i guess its okay for 4 or 5 stars hotel. Just that the taste is average."

"I recently stayed at Langit Duyong Hotel, Terengganu for 2 nights. First of all, I would like to say that the ambience, location, and overall scenery were truly beautiful. The view was one of the main highlights of my stay. The peaceful waterfront setting and natural surroundings created a relaxing atmosphere, especially during sunrise and sunset. The property has great potential and offers a unique experience compared to typical hotels. Unfortunately, my experience was significantly affected by several issues. The biggest disappointment was the cleanliness of the room. Upon check-in, the room was not cleaned to an acceptable standard, and I had to contact housekeeping to perform a second round of cleaning. While the housekeeping team responded, guests should not have to request additional cleaning upon arrival. Cleanliness is a basic expectation for any accommodation. Another concern was the maintenance of the surrounding area. The grass around the property was quite long and appeared untrimmed. As a guest, this raised concerns about the possibility of snakes, insects, or other animals entering the vicinity of the rooms. Regular landscaping and maintenance would greatly improve both safety and the overall appearance of the property. The most frustrating issue, however, was the ongoing renovation work at the neighbouring unit/building. There was significant construction noise starting early in the morning during both days of my stay. What made this more disappointing was that guests were not informed beforehand about the renovation activities. Had I known in advance, I could have managed my expectations or made a different booking decision. Transparency regarding major renovation works is important, especially for guests who choose this property expecting a peaceful and relaxing getaway. Overall, I genuinely enjoyed the beautiful view, strategic location, and unique atmosphere of the hotel. However, the cleanliness issues, lack of landscape maintenance, and unannounced renovation noise greatly affected the experience. I left feeling both impressed by the property’s potential and disappointed by the management’s attention to guest comfort. I sincerely hope management takes these concerns seriously, as with better maintenance, communication, and housekeeping standards, this could be a truly exceptional place to stay in Terengganu."

"Newly renovated hotel, clean and comfortable. Outdoor carpark is behind the hotel with daily charge of RM2.20. Our room is unfortunately next to the main road and thus traffic noise was unbearable. The newly renovated wall fixture next to the bed is having a sharp metal corner ie a potential safety issue that must be rectified to prevent injury (see photo)"

"first of all, the staff very nice and good vibes. Their give the best services ever. Answer all the question nicely. Also provide the most powerful room service. i recommend this hotel. The hotel is nearby at restaurant Nasi Dagang Bawah Tol. Will repeat stay again."

"The hotel's ambiance is incredibly comfortable and tidy. The rooms are decorated with a modern and minimalist concept. The large, plush beds offer guests a comfortable place to relax. Soft lighting and a well-organized room layout create a calm and cozy atmosphere."

"Facilities: The hotel entrance is grand, and there's a lobby boy to help with luggage. The public areas have two swimming pools: an irregularly shaped children's pool and a 25-meter, 1.2-meter-deep outdoor rectangular pool, which is open until 7 PM. Foreign guests are advised to wear tops for men and dress modestly for women to respect local customs. Restaurant: The hotel's breakfast restaurant also offers dinner, which is good value for money, and the food is delicious. Location: The hotel is about 1 km from the airport, a 20-minute walk. If you have luggage, the road isn't very smooth, so taking a car is recommended. To Redang Island: It's suitable as a transit point for Redang Island. A taxi from here to TTI Jetty isn't expensive, the journey is smooth, and you'll arrive on time. It feels like the price from TTI Jetty to Chinatown is more expensive than to here, and Chinatown is more run-down, with poorer accommodation conditions than this hotel. Hygiene: Good hygiene. Environment: Good environment, spacious rooms. Service: Staff are enthusiastic."

"This is the perfect place to stay before heading to the Perhentian Islands. The Kuala Besut Jetty is right in front of the hotel, and the Marriott ferry operates directly from here. The Assistant Manager, Nurfaruq Akamal Hanafiah, went above and beyond to resolve an issue we encountered. It was a minor hiccup caused by a slight miscommunication, but instead of brushing it off, he took the time to investigate thoroughly, explain the situation, and dedicate a significant amount of effort to finding a solution and compensation. Despite how busy the hotel must have been with so many guests, we felt as though we were receiving highly personalized service. My entire family praised his exceptional professionalism as a hotelier. Every time we visit, we are reminded of how genuinely kind and professional the staff are at both the Fairfield and Marriott Perhentian hotels. Furthermore, the restaurant manager at Marriott Perhentian happened to spot my son and me at the dining venue and remembered us from our visit a year ago. We had a wonderfully warm and friendly chat. It is truly thanks to the staff who welcome us like family every year that we keep deciding to return. We eagerly look forward to seeing everyone again next year!"

"Had a wonderful stay in here for 1 night only. I can say the room very clean, staff very helpful and always ready to help whenever I need an assist. The location are walking distance to Pasar Payang and near to Bus Terminal too. Very limited parking but there is near public parking around there. Looking forward to stay here again for my next visit in Terengganu 💜"
