"The hotel itself is clean, well-maintained, and has good amenities. The rooms and common areas were kept tidy, and I appreciate the effort put into maintaining the property. However, my biggest concern was the Wi-Fi connection. I stayed for a week and experienced connectivity issues throughout my entire stay. As someone who relies on internet access, I ended up using my mobile data most of the time because the Wi-Fi was unreliable. I also found that some of the staff in the dining area were not very welcoming. While not everyone was unfriendly, a few crew members came across as dismissive and seemed to have an attitude when interacting with guests. Customer service is an important part of the hotel experience, and I hope management can provide additional training to ensure all guests feel welcomed and valued. Overall, the hotel has good facilities and cleanliness standards, but the Wi-Fi issues and inconsistent customer service affected my experience."

"Overall a very good resort, located on the main road close to all the action and night life. They provide a free tuk tuk to take you to a particular place on this road whether it is a restaurant or the Cloud nine beach. The resort has its own small beach. The villas have a fan and air con.. The bathroom has 2 showers, one inside and one outside which is nice.The shower heads though are due for decalcification to provide a good and comfortable shower. Be aware that villas that are located close to the road are quite noisy. Breakfast is buffet style and is served near the pool. If you arrive before the official check in time of 2pm and even if your villa is ready, you will have to pay an extra fee to get the key."

"I had a good time at Casavia Siargao. The location is ideal if you want to surf at Cloud9: you can walk there in 5 minutes, and it's much quieter than General Luna but still close enough if you want to spend the night eating/partying there. The private room was pretty nice and spacious, with a comfortable bed. The bathroom could use some love, but still it was ok. The staff is nice and always willing to help, and the hostel has several social nights organised via a Whatsapp group. While I didn't take part in those events, it's a convenient way to meet other travellers. My only remark was about the noise: my room was facing the upstairs social area and, despite the signs specifying the quiet time (22pm onwards) and also a 500PHP fine for people not respecting it, every night I had people making phone calls, playing the guitar or shouting loudly after midnight (or later) in front of my room and there was nobody around to remind to keep the voice down. That was annoying."

"Honestly, the stay at Almont Inland Resort was a highlight of our Butuan trip. My friend and I booked a two-bedroom suite, and having that extra space for privacy while still having a spot to hang out together made all the difference. It felt more like a comfortable home than a standard hotel room. The grounds are like a quiet, green oasis hidden away from the city noise, and the staff were genuinely welcoming from the moment we walked in. Between the great food and the relaxing vibe, everything was spot on. I’d definitely head back there next time I’m in town."

"Almont Beach Resort exceeded my expectations with its polite and attentive staff, who were very approachable. The delicious food, coupled with the relaxing view, created a truly enjoyable experience. Moreover, the affordability of the stay made it even more commendable."

"We had a really lovely stay at Almont City Hotel. You can tell the building has been around for a while, and I loved that they kept the old-fashioned door — it gives the place a lot of character and charm. The suite was spacious and very clean, and the hot shower with a bathtub was such a nice touch after a long day. Everything was comfortable and well looked after. The location was perfect for us. We stayed Saturday night into Sunday morning, and the church was just a short walk away, which made things so easy. Service was friendly and good, with just a little room to be a touch more attentive — but it didn't take away from the experience at all. All in all, a comfortable and pleasant stay. We'd happily come back!"

"If you are solo travelers and for one bedroom room rate. You can’t get enought rest as music from outaide store unitop will bug you the entier day and noise from tricycle."

"Beautiful hotel, but as a new hotel they are poorly unorganised and many amenities are still yet to be completed. Couldnt vook the meeting rooms. The internet in the rooms always dropped out amd very unreliable to do business meetimgs, I had to rum team calls down near reception. Inconvenient!. ,I stayed in 3 different rooms and woke up to no hot water for a shower more than twice. Poor comtrols in place to ensure a customer room is ready and functioning. The food is probably great for locals but not for westerners. Many advertised meals they simply dont have. Great poolside, but no outside bar, or aloud to have a drink in the pool area. I will be a regular business visitor to Butuan during 2025 and therefore looking for a decent place that has a variety of food and reliable internet. Didn't fins it here."
