"The rooms were clean, and the staff were very polite. The hotel has a restaurant, which was convenient for meals and the food was quite suitable for Chinese tastes. Definitely recommend."

"Beautiful hotel, but as a new hotel they are poorly unorganised and many amenities are still yet to be completed. Couldnt vook the meeting rooms. The internet in the rooms always dropped out amd very unreliable to do business meetimgs, I had to rum team calls down near reception. Inconvenient!. ,I stayed in 3 different rooms and woke up to no hot water for a shower more than twice. Poor comtrols in place to ensure a customer room is ready and functioning. The food is probably great for locals but not for westerners. Many advertised meals they simply dont have. Great poolside, but no outside bar, or aloud to have a drink in the pool area. I will be a regular business visitor to Butuan during 2025 and therefore looking for a decent place that has a variety of food and reliable internet. Didn't fins it here."

"Overall a very good resort, located on the main road close to all the action and night life. They provide a free tuk tuk to take you to a particular place on this road whether it is a restaurant or the Cloud nine beach. The resort has its own small beach. The villas have a fan and air con.. The bathroom has 2 showers, one inside and one outside which is nice.The shower heads though are due for decalcification to provide a good and comfortable shower. Be aware that villas that are located close to the road are quite noisy. Breakfast is buffet style and is served near the pool. If you arrive before the official check in time of 2pm and even if your villa is ready, you will have to pay an extra fee to get the key."

"Our stay at Almont City Hotel last December was a pleasant one. The room was spacious, giving us plenty of comfort to relax. While the property is already a bit old, it is well-maintained and still provides a comfortable and cozy stay. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help, which made the experience even better. Overall, a reliable and welcoming place to stay."

"The place is nice… cozy looking and the service are great. New resort and everybody seems to still getting used to the service. No receptionist at night. We had to check out early due to our flight changes and left 5:00am the front desk is not open and the no place to return my key but had to leave it in the room.. the breakfast option is not much. Hopefully next time there are more options and the phone in the room. The guy who cleans around is nice. He is always willing to help. Could improve more but it’s a great place to be, only 9 minutes to secret beach, and malinao skate road, 30 minutes to cloud 9, 1 half hour to North/ Pacifico.. Not a busy street so you’re going to have a relaxing night of sleep. Gas station is just right around the corner."

"I booked in go hotel for my husband for a home office training, he like almost everything it’s just that the elevator is not functioning for a reasonable reason due to a recent calamity but overall go hotel never fails to please their customers, I think booked here for 10 times already. Mall is just a step away."

The staff were friendly, respectful, and always willing to help whenever we needed assistance. The location is very convenient, with easy access to transportation, restaurants, and nearby establishments. The hotel feels safe and organized, which made our stay more relaxing and stress-free. "I am happy to recommend Fat Lips Surf Lodge as a great place to stay in Siargao. The location is excellent—situated along Tourism Road in General Luna and conveniently close to popular spots such as AFAM Bridge (Catangnan Bridge), Catangnan BBQ, Shaka Café, and Cloud 9. It is also within easy reach of many of Siargao’s well-known restaurants, cafés, and tourist attractions. The place itself is cozy, aesthetic, and surrounded by lush greenery, creating a relaxing tropical atmosphere. The rooms are air-conditioned, and I was especially impressed by how clean and fresh the sheets and linens were. Having a private balcony overlooking the greenery was a wonderful bonus. Everything about the stay was smooth, hassle-free, and well-organized. Guests also have access to a shared kitchen, which is very convenient if you prefer to prepare or cook your own meals. One thoughtful touch that stood out was that they provide a coffee press along with freshly ground coffee beans for guests to enjoy—perfect for starting the day in a peaceful setting. Most importantly, the host was incredibly helpful, accommodating, and responsive throughout my stay, making the entire experience even more enjoyable. Overall, Fat Lips Surf Lodge offers great value, comfort, convenience, and a welcoming atmosphere. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Siargao."
