The hotel is conveniently located near the Prophet's Mosque, just a 200-meter walk away. The service is excellent; all the staff are incredibly warm, attentive, and thorough. The hygiene conditions are also very good. While there are many hotels around the Prophet's Mosque, some have bustling surroundings. This hotel, however, is situated in a quieter area. Their dates and coffee are also delicious. Overall, this hotel is a great choice.

I recently stayed at this hotel with my friend and family for four nights, and our experience was exceptional. The hotel is modern, featuring spacious rooms, well-maintained bathrooms, and stunning views of the mountains, including the iconic Uhud Mountain, a highly visited site in Madinah.
The breakfast offered a wide selection of options, including choices for vegetarians, and was consistently fresh and enjoyable. The staff at the reception were friendly, professional, and attentive, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming stay.
The hotel is conveniently located about a 15-minute walk from the Masjid. For added convenience, they provide a shuttle service every 20 minutes, making access effortless.
Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Madinah and would gladly stay here again on future visits.

Cleanliness of room is acceptable however furniture is dated and carpet looks old, dusty and worn out. Definitely the standard does not stand up to an accor hotel standard. Was really disappointed when we entered the room. Will not book this hotel again if we visit madinah as there are other newer hotels nearby.

My stay at Sofitel Madinah was overall wonderful, thanks to its prime location next to the Prophet’s Mosque, luxurious and clean rooms, and serene, elegant atmosphere. Dining options were excellent, and the staff were attentive and professional. A special thanks to Feras Almulla, who provided wonderful, attentive service and made my stay even more enjoyable.
The only downside for a five-star hotel is the absence of a jacuzzi, sauna, or steam room, which I expected for this level of luxury. Despite that, Sofitel Madinah remains a top choice for comfort, convenience, and a memorable stay in the holy city.

Location is perfect. Short walk to the Mosque and easy to organise walking to all the shops.
Staff are exceptional, always looking to enhance your experience.
Breakfast was good with a good selection but did lack variety day in day out. Staff here are very good and are always willing to help. Downside would be the coffee machines that never seemed to be working correctly.
We had a couple of maintenance issues, but staff were sent promptly and most were rectified in a good time.
A tip would ask for your room to face the mall, the otherside had a lot of traffic noise which was constant.

Great
One of the best hotels near Masjid Al Nabawi! The staff are incredible! From the moment I arrived, Hassan from concierge assisted me with my bags and the staff at the reception were very friendly and they not only allowed me to check-in early but also upgraded my room with a partial Haram View! All the staff spoke English perfectly. The rooms are nice and spacious with modern furniture and the amenities provided in the room are perfect from bathrobes to multiple kits! The room was relatively clean however I’ve notice multiple finger prints on the refrigerator door as well as the bathroom door which shows those 2 areas weren’t wiped after the previous guests had left. The shower was perfect with nice hot water and the bathroom was spacious enough. The hotel has 2 towers and we didn’t know which tower to go to so we ended up going to tower 1 were the receptionist informed us that our booking is in tower 2. I had an elderly guest with me and moving towers like this was very inconvenient. The hotel should inform the guests about the tower number and parking instructions before arriving at the hotel. The hotel is very close to the Haram with just 6-7 minutes walk to both the men’s and the women’s entrance (door 11 and 12). Upon returning to the hotel, the staff were promptly situated outside the elevator doors assisting guests with the elevators. About the breakfast. It was fantastic! The options available were great and included selections of cold appetizers, bakery items, main courses including french toast and pancakes. The breakfast staff were very friendly and efficient and they never said no, especially Riaz he served us coffee and hot chocolate. The items were being refilled quickly. The 2 ladies welcomed us for breakfast with a huge smile. Suggestions to improve breakfast: 1) there was no live cooking counter for omelette. The omlette was being cooked in the kitchen and was being stocked in the hot plate. It would be great if the hotel could consider introducing live counter for omelette as it really would help us guests to make the perfect omelette for ourselves and eating it warm and fresh. Other hotels do have a live counter. 2) Though all the breakfast items were great, the French toast wasn’t good at all! It didn’t taste like a French toast. The sambosas were undercooked and very chewy so wasn’t able to eat them. Improvements on this will make the breakfast experience perfect! One more thing to add is that the staff not once said “No”. They always accommodated our requests whatsoever. I asked the reception for a plastic chair for my elderly mother to sit and take a shower, thought they didn’t have it, they offered us to switch to an accessible room with no additional costs! The hotel is not very busy and crowded as I didn’t see any groups here. I hope the hotel can maintain this very same standard or else it’ll be very easy to be like the other hotels who don’t care about guests. All in all, I’ll definitely choose Al Manakha Rotana again on my next trip to Madinah and wishing this hotel success!

The hotel has a great location which is very close to the Prophet mosque, so it’s so convenient to go easily to pray for each prayer time in the mosque. The staff are so friendly and polite, the hotel is clean and also the breakfast buffet was very delicious and have different kinds of food.

The hotel is in a great location within a national park. The pool villas have a great view of the maraya. You can get a campfire going to relax outside at night. The rock pool is great as well, but very far from reception (5 min on a buggy). The hotel needs more buggies as they can take a long time. Breakfast was great. Dinner at harrat restaurant was good overall except for the porterhouse steak which was way overcooked.

The hotel staff is great, I lost my key (card room) in Masjid Nabawi and they didnt even charge me with anything. We can also put the luggage after check out in the safe place. The building is older, but functional. We dont have to wait for the lift because there are 6 lifts for the building alone. I’m shocked that the shampoo and soap is from Brooklyn, which I’ve visited New York in May but no time to visit Apotheke 😩 Near gate of Masjid Nabawi from the hotel is 365. You can choose this hotel instead of Pullman Zamzam if you have strict budget like us. Because the location is not that far from gate 365. This gate is near Rawdah. Ps: I take this photo right before check out. Sorry for the mess

I recently stayed at this hotel and can confidently say that the experience exceeded all expectations. From the moment I arrived until the day of departure, everything was handled with exceptional professionalism, care, and attention to detail. The level of service provided truly felt outclass and made the stay both comfortable and memorable. One of the most impressive aspects of the hotel was the cleanliness. Every area—whether it was the room, bathroom, corridors, or common spaces—was spotless and extremely well maintained. Housekeeping deserves special appreciation for their consistency and dedication. The room was cleaned thoroughly every day, fresh towels were provided, and everything was arranged neatly, giving a real sense of comfort and hygiene. The staff were outstanding. They were polite, respectful, and always willing to help with a warm and welcoming attitude. Any request or question was handled promptly and professionally, making us feel genuinely valued as guests. Their hospitality created a relaxed and positive environment throughout the stay. The room itself was well equipped, comfortable, and thoughtfully arranged. The bed was very comfortable, allowing for a restful sleep, and the overall atmosphere of the room was peaceful and pleasant. Everything worked perfectly, from lighting to amenities, which added to the stress-free experience. Overall, everything about this hotel was perfect—from service and cleanliness to comfort and management. It is rare to find a place where all aspects are maintained at such a high standard. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for quality accommodation, whether for family, business, or religious travel.
