Items missing Replenishment inconsistent You have to ask And the moment you ask, luxury quietly exits the room. --- The Tokyo comparison When you place this next to high-end Tokyo hotels, the difference is brutal: Tokyo runs on systems → invisible excellence La Badira runs on effort → visible strain One feels inevitable. The other feels negotiated. --- Final note This is not a bad hotel. That would be easier. This is a beautiful hotel… carrying a 4-star operational soul while pricing itself like a 5-star philosophy. And that tension? You feel it everywhere."

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Stay! I had a lovely time at Golden Tulip Hammamet President. The receptionists Fathia and Wiem were very kind and professional. Mokhtar was also very helpful and friendly throughout my stay. Excellent service from the whole team!"

"We went to the hotel reception that evening to extend our reservation for one more day, with the option of changing rooms due to the water continuing to drip from the ceiling and another water leak from the toilet sprayer! The price for one night that the receptionist quoted us was significantly higher than that offered by any other booking site!!!! In the end, we decided to confirm a reservation on Trip.com, which offered us the best price. In the morning, when we went to reception to extend our stay, a receptionist demanded payment of the tourist tax. But since I read on a hotel notice that the tax is reduced to 3 DT for North Africans (instead of 12 DT charged to non-North Africans), I immediately asked why I was charged 12 DT/night for the two nights we spent at the hotel?!! The two morning receptionists asked me if I had presented my passport (indeed, I did, and I even mentioned it on the form I filled out upon arrival!). They told me they would look into what had happened and get back to me. But nothing happened!!!! And yet we ran into them several times!!! Not even a ”Goodbye” when we handed over the keys!!!!!!!! An agent finally came after dinner to fix the water leaks we had already reported. So, we stayed in the same room. Housekeeping is provided daily, and since the room was kept clean, we only requested a towel change during our entire stay. Pool and beach towels are available for collection with a deposit of 20 DT per person once the towel is returned. This is not a beachfront hotel, which is a disadvantage for the hotel. The beach, which they call private, is far from the hotel. Personally, I don't find it convenient for someone looking for direct beach access. Knowing that during a meal, a guest (all-inclusive package) is entitled to one bottle of water, two glasses of wine, and two glasses of soda. This is what was explained to us at reception when we arrived. Personally, I've always kindly asked for my second glass of soda during meals (it's the quota set by reception, and I never drink wine, so!!!!) In this regard, at the restaurant, during meals on the third day of our stay, a noticeable change was noted in the way drinks were served!!!!!! Sodas are no longer served in the same (water) glasses that were used during our first two days!!! The soda glasses have been changed!!!! They're significantly small!! And the best part is, they add ice cubes, unlike before (LOL)!!!!! See the sizes in photos after pouring the soda from the new glass into the old glass, and also the quantity of ice cubes!!! That's not how you're going to reduce the bill, Mr. Restaurant Manager!!!!!! For a profitable and, above all, sustainable hotel, it's essential to properly train and involve servers, inform guests, and insist on reducing waste, if possible, or eliminating it completely... With a big smile, of course (that's what was missing most in your service!!!). We'll come back, perhaps, another time! , but it would be mainly for the Adults Only aspect of the hotel and the cleanliness of the rooms (Bravooo to the housekeeping staff who promote your brand...)."

"Disappointing for this price and for a 4 stars hotel. Room was barely acceptable, clearly not cleaned below the beds, no glasses, no towels, soap and shampoo containers almost if not empty upon arrival and were not filled at all during our stay. Towels were a nightmare to get: sometimes just enough, sometimes missing one, sometimes missing two. Getting an iron was a battle and forget about laundry service. Requests were not always met with a nice answer, they painted a room next to ours taking no precautions, getting the smell far into ours. Lunch was excruciatingly expensive for the area, forget about it. Included breakfast and dinner were OK. Location was very nice, although the surroundings are a bit dead.."

"**Decent Value for the Price, But Far From a 4-Star Experience** We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights with bed & breakfast for €60, and while the price is definitely attractive, the experience was a mixed bag. **Cleanliness:** The hotel and rooms were generally clean, and the bedsheets were fresh. However, the mattress itself was stained and not very pleasant, which was disappointing. **Bed Comfort:** This was by far one of the worst parts of the stay. The mattress was rock hard—honestly felt like sleeping on the floor. Pillows were thin, lumpy, and offered no support. We requested extra pillows three times, and although staff promised to bring them, they never followed through. **Bathroom:** Cleanliness was acceptable, but the setup was inconvenient. There was no shower head hanger, so you had to hold the shower with one hand while bathing. Towels were rough and uncomfortable, and there was always at least one missing (sometimes the floor towel, sometimes the bath towel). The courtesy toiletries were taken but never replaced. **Breakfast:** A very basic buffet with a limited selection. Pastries were inconsistent—sometimes decent, other times stale and clearly reheated leftovers. Not the kind of quality you’d expect from a supposed 4-star hotel. **Service:** A few staff members were friendly and helpful, but most seemed uninterested and disengaged, like they didn’t want to be there. We didn’t feel particularly welcomed or well-attended. **Swimming Pool Area:** This was the highlight of the hotel—clean, with clear water, nice outdoor showers, and a good vibe thanks to lively music and entertainment. **Overall:** While the hotel is clearly outdated and stuck in the late '90s in terms of decor and service, the location and pool are definite pluses. Despite the many issues, for €60 for two nights with breakfast, the price/quality ratio was decent. Just don’t expect a real 4-star experience."

"We really liked the hotel, but there were a few issues, such as the lack of toothbrushes and toothpaste in the room, the towels weren't always clean, and housekeeping wasn't regularly scheduled. However, the food was good and delicious! You should understand that the hotel is indeed very large, but it's undergoing partial renovation, so we got a truly new room!"

"The hotel environment is first-class and the sea view room price is very favorable. It is recommended to stay. The only unpleasant thing is that when checking in, the receptionist insists that you send him a confirmation email for the reservation. This is very strange. C’est un endroit très calme pour se poser tranquillement la propreté de cette hôtel mérite ces cinq étoiles sur chaque classement en en garde un super bon souvenir et hâte de revenir prochainement. J’ai remercie encore particulièrement le service de sécurité, le service à l’accueil réception et surtout le personnel de restauration vraiment y a rien à dire.
