It’s a great hotel for a couple nights’ stay. Although it feels somewhat dated (it really shows in such a hi-tech city as Shanghai) and the public spaces are cramped (the gym gives claustrophobic vibes when there are more than 5 people in it), especially considering the size of the building and number of rooms - it may suit well for a conservative traveller, or if you have to stay in this particular area, or simply if you enjoy being among European/South American tourists (I got an impression that locals don’t stay here). In a nutshell, the location is unbeatable, the breakfasts were good (half of dishes were westernized), staff speaks English and is helpful, the view from my room was breathtaking, nights were quiet. Some fresh towels were still stained, tho. Not good.

To be honest, the actual environment and facilities didn't live up to the grand impression from Trip.com; I felt a bit let down upon arrival. The hotel's surroundings were a bit dirty and messy, and the hotel facilities felt a bit outdated. There was also a musty smell in the lobby and rooms. You could tell the original building materials were high-end, but unfortunately, the maintenance has been subpar. Additionally, it's a bit far from the subway, about a 15-minute walk. However, the good thing is it's close to Disneyland and offers a free shuttle service.

I recently stayed at the Grand Hyatt Shanghai for a business trip, and it was an exceptional experience. The hotel's location in the heart of Lujiazui is perfect for business travelers, offering seamless access to the financial district and connecting directly to major malls. The Guest Room on the high floor provided a quiet and comfortable environment, ensuring a restful sleep after busy workdays. The highlight was definitely the Guest Club on the 83rd floor. The executive lounge offered a professional atmosphere for informal meetings, and the Happy Hour provided a great selection of food with an incredible view of the sunset over the Huangpu River. The staff were highly efficient and professional, handling all my requests promptly. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Shanghai for work.

The hotel's location is excellent, and the staff are very welcoming. It's just a 10-minute walk to Waibaidu Bridge and The Bund. Taxis to Jing'an Temple and Raffles City are also very quick. There are plenty of local eateries within walking distance at the Binjiang Commercial Center. The room was very clean, and the shower and toilet were in separate, convenient spaces. All toiletries were provided, and the room was cleaned daily and very quiet. Breakfast offered a great variety, and the orange water in the lobby was a nice touch. If I get the chance to visit Shanghai again, I'll definitely stay here.

Two moms traveling with kids here. We were together, but not assigned to the same floor. I was on the 7th floor and my friend on the 8th. Both were low floors with absolutely no view. It was also really inconvenient that the room key only allowed access to our own floor. Then, the light switch in my room was one-way. On the first day, they said they'd arrange a room change for me, but it was fully booked, so they said they'd do it the next day. I figured changing rooms would be a hassle, so I didn't follow up with the front desk, but they never called to check either. My room was also right next to an outdoor air conditioning unit, which was very noisy. All in all, not a very satisfying experience.

Back in Shanghai, after visiting Disney with my child, I experienced true five-star service from the moment the concierge opened the car door. Check-in at the front desk was quick and professional. I was especially thrilled to meet Jennie again at the front desk. Seeing that I had a child with me, she thoughtfully upgraded our room, provided kids' toiletries and a small bathrobe, and even set up a tent, which was a wonderful surprise and made my child very happy. Meeting Jennie actually made us feel like we were coming home, truly embodying the saying, 'You fall in love with a city because of one person.' This really rings true after staying at the Ritz. The hotel's location is superb, with lovely views, and a shopping mall right downstairs. The room was spotlessly clean, and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring we had a great night's sleep. The facilities are, of course, top-notch – comfortable bedding and charming night views. But what truly made me remember this city was every smile and every perfectly timed act of care from the hotel staff. Looking forward to my next visit!

This is my third time staying at the Kempinski, and I once again chose the Business River View Room. I made a note in advance and called to confirm, and I'm grateful to the hotel for arranging a room on the 20th floor with an excellent river view. This time I was traveling with my mother, who loves river views, so every detail was important. A special shout-out to the hotel's room service – the staff were warm and polite on the phone, and the food quality was consistently excellent. However, I felt the hotel as a whole lacked a welcoming, homely touch. The front desk during check-in and check-out, the concierge when storing luggage, and the breakfast reception all felt a bit perfunctory, lacking the warmth and smiles that make you feel truly at home. While there was nothing specifically wrong, it just didn't quite live up to the brand's expected standards. That said, I didn't have any negative experiences, it's just my personal impression. On a positive note, the breakfast timing is definitely commendable; even on the last day, I could sleep in and still enjoy breakfast, haha!

This is my fourth time staying at the Shanghai New World Trinity Hotel. This time, I booked a Deluxe King Room, and it was clean and tidy. The location is incredibly convenient for both shopping and getting around; the metro station is just a 2-3 minute walk away. The hotel staff are thoughtful, attentive, and provide warm and friendly service. Overall, my stay was very comfortable, and I was especially pleased with the young lady with employee ID 115. 👍👍👍🌹🌹🌹

Five-star rating, highly recommend! First off, the location is absolutely fantastic. It's super close to the subway, just a few minutes' walk, which makes getting around to attractions and catching public transport incredibly convenient. Plus, there are plenty of dining and shopping options nearby, making everything so easy. The hotel service was incredibly thoughtful and attentive. The staff were all wonderful, and a special shout-out to the cleaning auntie who even gave my child a plush toy when she saw we had kids. It also happened to be my birthday during our stay, and the hotel surprised us with a complimentary birthday cake and a card – it felt really special. The hotel breakfast was also excellent and had a great variety! It's very family-friendly; the lobby on the ground floor even has various toys, which kept my child entertained and happy. Our stay was super comfortable, and the room had an unbeatable view – we could see Shanghai's 'three-piece suit' (referring to the iconic skyscrapers) right from the bed. The night view was absolutely stunning! It was clean, quiet, and definitely our top choice for traveling with kids. We'll definitely stay here again next time we're in Shanghai!
