"The hotel breakfast was absolutely fantastic, truly superb! I specifically chose the Intercontinental for its breakfast – unlimited ham, a real treat! The hotel room was also quite spacious, and the air conditioning worked perfectly, which was a lifesaver in the scorching heat of Spain! The front desk staff were very welcoming and provided detailed information. It's a little bit of a walk from the old town, but right next door is the National Art Museum of Catalonia, which is an attraction in itself! There are also plenty of small supermarkets nearby. Barcelona isn't as scary as some social media platforms make it out to be! I personally believe that no matter where you travel, it's always wise to be observant and cautious. Barcelona is great! If you have questions about children staying for free or at a charge, just email the hotel directly – it's very convenient, and you'll get the answers you need without any hidden fees! Highly recommended!"

"A short stay for of 2 days was booked with Triip.com for one adult and 2 children under 10, to join us who were booked in a day earlier for three days. Our three day booking was direct with the hotel, half board. The hotel is marked 'adults recommended' and they sure discourage children, by seeking to charge per occupancy rather than simply on a cost per room. The Trip site quite fairly offered the room at the rate for two adults, with children under 12 free, so this is what was paid. Half board was added but at the rate for two adults, which would be greater than the actual hotel rate for one adult and two children, but I was happy to have reserved restaurant secured. Things got messy at check in, the hotel insisting that the room was occupied by three 'persons' as they put it and should therefore be 50% extra, though the room was the same type as the twin we had for two adults. The Hotel also insisted that only breakfast was provided, and tried to argue that the B2B rate from the third party (Trip) was insufficient. I politely pointed out that the discounts provided to third party agents was no concern of the customer, and referred to my booking voucher which clearly stated I had booked a twin room, into which was going 1 adult, two very small children, and that breakfast and dinner was paid for, with the rate for 1 adult being greater than twice the local charge for a child. They were impossible to deal with, and I left the reception angry and upset. I contacted the Trip representative and by that evening it was sorted. Full marks to Trip, zero to the hotel. As for our stay, the hotel is excellent, but with room to improve. Dinner in the Buffet only commences at 8.00, resulting in quite the bunfight if the restaurant is busy. It was on that Thursday, a national holiday, and it was impossible to order wine and beverages after we seated, with a single service person taking orders. We ate our food dry, and finally placed an order for wine and water while eating dessert, some 40 minutes after seating. The same bottleneck occurred the next morning at breakfast, with the four snail paced Nespresso machines totally incapable of dealing with the coffee demands. Worse, all 4 machines overheated and went into 'service mode'. Worse again, these obviously unsuitable barista machines were the only source of hot water for Tea or infusions, but with no seperate hot water dispenser faucet. You had to stand for almost 2 minutes while the machine slowly dispensed through the coffee outlet, a single mug of hot water, to the frustration of the queue behind. This needs sorting, it took ages to get a breakfast beverage every morning, and on the second day I had to return 4 floors to my room and fill my cup from the in room Nespresso maker. I'd advise to bring a travel kettle with you. Otherwise, a fine hotel, but the restaurant problems and discriminatory pricing for children are an issue, so not a hotel for children."

"The Nobu Hotel is excellent! The rooms are spacious, and the sofa is beautiful and stylish, showing great design. The bathroom has double sinks and a well-planned layout. The distant views are also very nice. There's a subway station within a 5-minute walk, making transportation very convenient. A large supermarket is right next door, less than 2 minutes away, so you can easily get bread, milk, and fruit for breakfast. The area feels safe, making it a great choice for travelers!"

"The location is excellent and the breakfast is good. The soundproofing of the hotel is not good. I booked a double room but only got a twin room. The service of the hotel is not at the level of a five-star hotel. Ctrip's service is very good."

"We stayed in the suite on the 9th floor. The hotel is located in Plaza Catalunya, perfect for exploring the city without having to use transport or taxis. The suite was on 2 floors, comfortable and very clean with a view of Plaza Catalunya. The staff was welcoming and always available. A perfect place for a successful stay in Barcelona, ​​I highly recommend it!"

"You are on the coast, close to clubs and restaurants and public beaches which may be a good thing for some and a handicap for others. A lot of dining options to every taste and purse. A lot of roaming crowds and somewhat dodgy looking geysers comes part and parcel too. On weekend early mornings the promenade is full of junk and waisted clubbers but this is all cleared up by about 10 am. So, if you choose this place to stay on the beach you ought to be mindful that the public beaches in Barcelona are less than inviting but this is mitigated to a certain extent by 2 mid sized swimming pools in the hotel, the rooftop one offering pleasant views."

"I'd give this hotel a perfect score. First off, the location is unbeatable – right on Passeig de Gràcia, surrounded by luxury boutiques, with Chanel literally next door. It's incredibly convenient and safe for shopping; you can just drop your purchases off at the hotel immediately. This is quite important in Barcelona, so you don't have to walk around trying to discreetly carry large shopping bags. Secondly, the room was very spacious, they offer turn-down service, and the breakfast was delicious – they even had dumplings! The hotel was also very quiet, ensuring a great night's sleep, and it's super close to Casa Milà."

"I love the view here and the bar is so good. We enjoyed the FIFA World Cup here and it was so amazing with the big screen. The location is good and there’s a supermarket nearby. Highly recommended to stay here! And it’s so close to the airport so it’s convenient"
