This stay truly exceeded my expectations! The hotel's location is excellent, with convenient access to dining and transportation. The room was spacious and clean, and the bedding was soft and skin-friendly, ensuring a wonderful night's sleep. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, and the toiletries were comprehensive, showing great attention to detail. The front desk staff were friendly, check-in was quick, and they even proactively recommended local attractions. Breakfast offered a wide variety and tasted good. Overall, the service was attentive, the environment was quiet and comfortable, and it offered great value for money. It's suitable for both business trips and leisure travel. I'll definitely choose this place again next time and highly recommend it to anyone in need!

Exceeded my expectations! The location is super convenient, close to both business areas and attractions. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the bedding was as soft as ever, making it incredibly easy to sleep. The service was thoughtful; I felt warmth and smiles from check-in to check-out. Breakfast was abundant, offering both international cuisine and authentic Indonesian flavors. The pool had an expansive view, perfect for gazing at the city skyline. Suitable for both business and leisure.

We stayed at Grand Mercure Malang Mirama for our honeymoon for 3 nights and 4 days, and honestly, it was one of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had. My wife absolutely loved everything about this hotel, and so did I. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was exceptional. We were welcomed by Wike from the front office, and she truly made our stay extra special. She was always smiling, respectful, kind, and very helpful throughout our stay. She even offered us free activities and vouchers, which was such a nice touch. The biggest surprise was that we got upgraded to the Executive Suite, the highest room category in the hotel. Huge thanks to Wike for making our honeymoon unforgettable! The room itself was unbelievable. Beautiful views, a huge living room, separate bedroom, and an amazing bathroom with a bathtub overlooking the view. Everything felt luxurious and very comfortable. Since it was our honeymoon, the room was also beautifully decorated and we were welcomed with a fruit basket, which made us feel really special. Breakfast was another highlight. The variety was insane so many options that we honestly didn’t know what to choose. Everything we tried was delicious. One thing that really stood out was the staff. I’ve traveled quite a lot, but the service here felt different. Every single staff member we met smiled, greeted us warmly, checked if everything was okay, and helped immediately whenever needed. You can really feel the genuine hospitality here. We also received a complimentary photoshoot from the hotel, which was such a lovely experience. The photographer was great, and we even got a printed photo in a frame to take home as a memory. The only disappointing part during our stay was the Teppanyaki experience at the Japanese restaurant. Unfortunately, it did not meet our expectations at all. The chef only cooked in front of us without any interaction or entertainment, and when I tried making conversation, she seemed annoyed. Considering how expensive it was, it honestly felt very underwhelming. I personally wouldn’t recommend the Teppanyaki experience there. Other than that, everything was truly amazing. Even though I don’t remember everyone’s names, thank you to every single staff member who made our honeymoon so memorable. We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely come back again. The hotel is a resort on a hill. It’s beautiful and the weather is nice and cooling. Facilities include heated pool, kid’s club, 2 outdoor playground, kids water play area (cold water), ping pong table, free e-bike, gym, etc. The staff are very polite and helpful. Room is modern, new and beautiful. The room has safe deposit box, bidet, rain shower, and normal shower head. Basic amenities are 2 mineral water bottles per day, dental kit, vanity kit, sanitary bag, shower cap, shampoo, shower gel, and lotion. Shampoo and shower gel smells good. There’s bath towel and hand towel. Soundproofing can be improved: 1. On the nights we stayed, they had some events in the infinite8 cafe area. They were pretty loud until close to midnight. 2. We can also hear the people talking along the corridor Breakfast is free for kids 5 and below. Taste-wise it’s good. Apart from egg station, salad, waffles and bakery section, the rest are very much Indonesian style. Western-style option is limited (ie. pasta, baked beans and 1 other). What’s surprising is that they have frozen yoghurt and matcha spread! However, the breakfast spread can be repetitive.

Second stay here and the consistency is solid. Rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-maintained — no drop in standards compared to my first visit. Service was smooth throughout. Special thanks to Joan for handling both check-in and check-out efficiently and professionally. Quick, clear, and hassle-free. Location is very convenient with easy access to nearby amenities and transport. We had a meal in Nishimura  is decent — not over the top, but reliable and well-managed. Overall, a dependable hotel that delivers consistently. Would return again.

amazing, relax place... very nice staff .... and the villa is great there is private pool and one staff accompany us everyday (they stay in little house close with us so 24 hours take care of us) very luxury we got breakfast and dinner for 4 person... and there is afternoon tea so delicious😍😍😘 there is swimming pool for together close with fitness centre, bowling, table tennis, painting for children, bilyard... and there will be padel court too if your family loves basketball, tennis, cycling we can borrow all from them... really want go there anymore

Outstanding hotel in the heart of Surabaya! Staff are exceptionally warm and professional, treating guests like family. The breakfast buffet is incredible with amazing variety. Rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. Perfect location next to Tunjungan Plaza mall. The pool and facilities are well-maintained. Excellent value for a 5-star luxury experience!

This was my first time staying at Ascott Surabaya, and the experience was not very memorable for me. When I first arrived, the security staff were not proactive in helping unload my luggage from the taxi. Secondly, the lobby layout was not particularly impressive in my opinion. However, the staff were fairly friendly and explained the hotel facilities well. As for the room, it was decent and in good condition. The kitchen equipment was complete, and the microwave, washing machine, and dryer all worked well. The bathroom was clean, although I think it could be redesigned to look more modern. The check-out process went smoothly, but once again the security staff were disappointing. He just stood there without offering any help to load my luggage into the taxi. At that time I was carrying one large suitcase and one small one, so assistance would have been greatly appreciated. That should be part of a security staff’s responsibility, especially for a five-star hotel. For the location, Pakuwon Trade Center (PTC) is located right in front of the hotel, making it very convenient to visit Pakuwon Mall, the largest mall in Indonesia. For me, staying here once is enough. For some reason, I didn’t feel any significant comfort, especially for a five-star hotel, and the attitude of the security staff was very disappointing.

Hotel Majapahit Surabaya MGallery is absolutely stunning, though it might be a bit spooky if you're staying alone. Considering how long it's been around, the service and facility maintenance are quite decent. Breakfast: The food quality is good, with a wider variety compared to hotels in Bali, and it's not just typical 'Western' fare. Cleanliness: There are a few minor details that could be cleaner, but it's not a deal-breaker. Facilities: The power outlets seem to be British standard. There's one adapter in the room that can convert to European standard. I recommend bringing a power strip as one outlet won't be enough. Also, the outlets by the desk are linked to the master switch by the bed, so they lose power when you turn it off (this is crucial to remember). I suggest using the outlets near the floor by the bathroom door, as they are not connected to the master switch.

My overall stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton Surabaya was excellent. The hotel is conveniently located in the city center, with easy access to restaurants, shopping malls, and attractions. The hotel itself is modern and comfortable, with spacious rooms and very comfortable beds, ensuring a good night's rest after checking in. The staff were very friendly, warm, and proactive. The breakfast offered a wide variety of options, including Western, Chinese, and local specialties, all of good quality. The hotel facilities are comprehensive, with a swimming pool and gym, making it suitable for both business travelers and tourists. Overall, it's a highly recommended hotel. Its location, room comfort, and service are all major advantages, and I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Surabaya.
