"I had a wonderful stay at the Pan Pacific Hotel and was very impressed with the overall experience. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained, with a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere. The room was spacious, well equipped, and provided everything needed for a comfortable stay. The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to assist with any requests. I particularly appreciated the excellent hospitality and attention to detail throughout my visit. The location was also very convenient, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. Overall, a very enjoyable experience and I would happily recommend Pan Pacific to others."

"LOCATION Excellent location. In the immediate vicinity of the central train station. A 15-minute walk from Sule, with all its bus lines. A good starting point for exploring the city on foot. Shopping centers are in the immediate vicinity. A 30-minute taxi ride from the airport. SERVICE Excellent welcome and service. Excellent attention at every moment, whether from the housekeeping staff, restaurant staff, concierge, or the gym/spa/pool staff. PS: Please note the $200 USD security deposit required for some reservations. This should be anticipated, although it is payable by credit card (check if this option is worth according to your bank's terms and conditions applied for transaction in Myanmar). ENVIRONMENT Quiet and safe neighborhood. Elegant and comfortable hotel. Harmonious and high-quality layout. Impeccable maintenance. ROOM Superior King Bed Room: Perfect for one person, with a desk area and a small sitting area. Bright. Well laid out. Comfortable. Very good quality bedding. Clean, high-quality linens. Spacious and clean bathroom. Hot water with good pressure. Very good Wi-Fi. Conveniently placed electrical outlets. Excellent lighting. Luggage storage available (for one bag). Pleasant city view. Central air conditioning system. It worked perfectly, but I didn't find the adjustments very user-friendly. BREAKFAST Large dining room. Well-spaced buffet area, open from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Elegant dining room. I preferred the back of the room for its quietness, privacy, and comfort. Attentive and courteous staff. A well-stocked and varied buffet. Yet, there was a noticeable difference in quality between the buffet, the kitchen staff, and the buffet presentation between weekdays and weekends. Some of the glass-fronted areas in the dining room were not clean at all: cobwebs, long-standing dust, and general grime. This needs improvement, as it's not what you'd expect from a hotel of this caliber. The buffet occupied most of my mornings; however, I'm not sure I would have wanted to pay an additional $20 USD for it if it wasn't already included in the reservation. FACILITIES *The hotel has all the facilities one would expect for a hotel of this standard. In conclusion, I benefited from a very good price offer through Trip.com, which accurately reflected the hotel's value for money. I was truly delighted with my stay and will keep the PARKROYAL on my list of favorites for a future trip."

"I ordered lunch, but the food took far too long to arrive. To make matters worse, customers who arrived after us were served before we were. They were even seated right in front of us, which made the situation even more frustrating. Because of this experience, I don't think I will come here for lunch again. Other than that, the service was excellent."

"This hotel is a golf resort with a garden-style design, situated in a high-end community area that feels very safe. The indoor and outdoor executive lounge is open and inviting, and the restaurant is quite thoughtful. Overall, it's a well-maintained hotel. The rooms are spacious with private balconies overlooking the golf course, which is a much better view than what you'd typically get from a luxury hotel in the city center. The staff are all friendly and professional. I'll definitely stay here again when I return to Yangon."

"I was very satisfied with my stay at this hotel for my business trip. The lobby was clean and grand, and the staff were professional and courteous, responding promptly to requests. The room was spacious with excellent natural light, and spotlessly clean. The mattress was just right, ensuring a good night's sleep. The internet was stable, more than sufficient for work, and there was 24-hour hot water. The surrounding area has convenient transportation and complete amenities, yet it's quiet and not noisy, making it ideal for business travelers. Overall, the experience was comfortable and hassle-free. It's definitely worth staying here again."

"First time staying here for a business trip, and my overall impression is: the facilities are quite new, the environment is good, breakfast is plentiful, and it offers great value for money. Plus, there's no traffic congestion, making it convenient for getting around and to the airport."

"It was a great stay. Staffs are polite and helpful. A male receptionist and a woman Housekeeping attendant at 16th floor were particularly helpful during my stay. The Pool is beautiful and I was actually amazed that they built a very deep pool for a hotel (1.9 m). My feet barely touched the pool ground, but they did have the fitness trainer who watched out for the deep pool. The room is okay, but I feel like it’s a bit small. Don’t get me wrong, they already are among the widest rooms in Yangon, yet the room I got had very tight entrance. The bathroom is separated with toilet and shower and bathtub. TV is rather small, I expected to have a more updated smart TV in this kind of hotel. The only thing I wasn’t satisfied was Breakfast. Yes, they did have variety of selections but the tastes were blend and honestly, I didn’t like their food menus. Overall, it was pretty decent memory to stay at Melia."

"Chatruim Lake View Hotel was a superb experience - I stayed here twice for about 8 days in total. The process from Check in to check out was second to none. We loved the hotel grounds, big rooms with a lake view, the breakfast was great too with a good selection of food.  The service from the bellboy to reception I can't really complain as they responded to all our requests. We checked out early for a flight to Mandalay and they provided us with a packed lunch. The pool facilities were great - alhough I think the water needs a bit of chlorine for cleaning as it was a bit musky - The hotel was nice and quiet with not too many guest, but service was still there. I'd like to mention the receptionist who is always smiling and so kind and welcoming and listening to our travel stories and requests - La Min and Mr Simon were so helpful, but I can't remember the other names. One thing to note- if you don't have a car, then it's not that central to the center of the city, however, you can easily take a Grab to Shwedagon Pagoda or the center, you can also walk to Kandagwyi Lake Graden and enjoy the sunset - which is only a 15 min walk and there is a mall there, too with a great supermarket. If you need to change money - the hotel recommended 126 Grocery Store - great rates no passport needed just new crisp USD notes. It's near Myanmar Plaza. I will definitely stay there again. We stayed in the Lake View but if you prefer the morning sun on your balcony then you can take the Pagoda view.  There is a presendential suite if you have the cash which I was told has a good overall top floor view. I hope you enjoy your stay. This was definitely much better than the Chatruim in Bangkok"

"I’ve passed by Novotel many times and always wanted to experience this classic French hotel brand. Overall, my stay was great! The service was very attentive, and the facilities were comprehensive. The staff's English proficiency was good, making communication easy. I especially want to thank four particular staff members – Ms. Ei Chaw Sa Win, Ms. Khine Zin, Ms. Myat Bwint, and Ms. Yuu Lin – for helping me order and deliver food, and for bringing a charger. Thanks a lot! Myanmar is a wonderful country, and I believe it will continue to improve in the future."
