Convenient option if you’re arriving late or catching an early flight, as the hotel is very close to Kunming Airport and saves you the trip into the city. The airport pick-up and drop-off service is smooth and reliable, which makes arrival and departure hassle-free. Check-in was easy, and the staff were welcoming. A small but thoughtful touch was the complimentary flower cake on arrival, which added a nice local feel to the stay. Overall, a practical and comfortable choice for a short airport stopover.

I love the traditional decoration of the hotel, it transports you back to the ancient time. However, the car cannot go in, you have to push your luggage into the street where the hotel is located. It's very near to the big malls and walking distance to the old town. Hotel was very nice to pack our breakfast for us because we have a train to catch early in the morning and the restaurant is not open yet.

Extremely satisfied! The room was spacious and came with an oxygen concentrator, smart home features, a smart toilet, and a high-power hairdryer! The water heater was excellent, providing hot water instantly, and the shower pressure was fantastic, making for a refreshing shower. Plus, when we arrived at the hotel at past 10 PM on the first day, they offered car pick-up and complimentary rice noodle supper! The value for money and the environment are both incredible. They even gave us a souvenir gift. Overall, everything was top-notch; we had a very comfortable stay!

First off, I have to give a huge shout-out to the handsome boss! He helped us drag our luggage from the ancient town entrance all the way to the inn, and did the same when we left. Otherwise, our arms would have been numb! I was pleasantly surprised to find out he speaks Cantonese, which instantly made us feel so much more at home. He was incredibly warm and attentive. This is truly the most charming and comfortable accommodation I've ever stayed in. So many details surpassed what you'd find in a five-star hotel, like the bathroom scale and mini-fridge. We were even reminded to take an umbrella before heading out, and the front desk had a cabinet stocked with various daily necessities – truly thoughtful. Funnily enough, it rained heavily on our second day in Lijiang, so we couldn't really explore much and ended up soaked and freezing. But when we got back to the inn, we saw two adorable big dogs lying right outside our room. They came over, nudged us, and played around us, instantly cheering us up. Suddenly, the day didn't seem so bad after all! ~( ´▽｀) Even though we only stayed for two nights, it was hard to leave. If we hadn't already planned our itinerary, I would have loved to spend an entire day just relaxing in the courtyard. While the room's soundproofing isn't amazing, the overall atmosphere makes it easy to fall asleep. It's truly a perfect place for a relaxing 'retirement-style' stay. In a nutshell, it's 'Píng Liàng Zhèng' – affordable, beautiful, and excellent! Wishing all the friends at the inn peace, joy, and a life free of worries.

I loved the place. The location is pretty convenient to get to all major attractions. There is also a relatively big 24/7 convenient store on the first floor and dome places to ear nearby. The room is spacious- I especially loved high ceilings. But the best thing is a tea-place with panorama windows- it is really lovely to have a rest at this place, overviewing the city and mountains. The service and breakfast are also quite nice. I enjoyed the cosmetics and tea offered by the hotel - really good staff. The cleaning service was very decent - daily refills of mini-bar and tea, throughly washing and vacuuming, towels change. I would really love to stay here the next time I visit Kunming

This was by far the most satisfying hotel of our trip! The Lijiang hotel we originally booked was in a terrible location, so we made a last-minute change to Zangyuan. Upon check-in, the front desk staff was incredibly warm and welcoming. When they learned we were traveling with our parents, they eagerly provided tips for high-altitude areas and even upgraded our parents to a free snow mountain view room, arranging a lavish afternoon tea! Knowing we'd be leaving Lijiang very late the next day, they proactively extended our checkout time to 3:30 PM, which greatly facilitated our itinerary! The hotel even thoughtfully provided a complimentary drop-off service to the station! The room was clean and tidy, and the location was very convenient. I highly, highly recommend it! Traveling with a girlfriend, the first important thing is the hotel, the second is the food. I have been to Maitreya many times. To be honest, the hotels in Maitreya are currently online, but the mountain residence I stayed in this time was really pleasant. It is completely the reception standard of a foreign five-star hotel. Whether it is a check-in gift or an supporting facilities in the hotel, it can make people spend a very happy day in the hotel. The design of the lobby is full of collisions of Chinese and Western elements. The space is large. The hand-made coffee level in the lobby is very online! The hot spring on the first floor has a public bubble pool and a private soup. The key is that the ventilation is very good! Not stuffy at all!  Drive by yourself and stop next to the hotel, it is very convenient to go out and play.  My most pleasant surprise is actually the body milk equipped by the hotel, which smells really good! I used half a bottle, and I took the rest away. I am going to find the same model online hahaha.  The price is not cheap, but it is definitely worth the money, and the experience that is worthy of the price is the real quality price ratio in my opinion!  I didn't shoot the room because I arrived too late and slept in a mess. You can see what others took. Clean and advanced!

Our stay at Shangri-La was truly unforgettable and exceeded all expectations! Before sharing details about our stay, we would like to give special recognition to several team members whose outstanding service made such a positive impact on our experience: 麦克, 小钢, Alan, 小罗, and 小雨. Each of them demonstrated exceptional professionalism, kindness, attentiveness, and genuine care. We are writing this review in large part because we hope management is aware of their incredible efforts, as they truly represent the very best of the hotel’s hospitality. Even before we arrived, the team created a WeChat group and warmly welcomed us, making us feel cared for from the very beginning. The service throughout our stay was exceptional. Upon arrival, the staff helped carry our very heavy luggage to our room and consistently went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and enjoying our time at the hotel. After check-in, 麦克 gave us a detailed tour of the room and thoughtfully explained how to use the oxygen supply, which immediately put us at ease. He was also incredibly helpful in recommending places to visit and things to do in the area. His advice, including reminding us not to shower on our first night due to the high altitude, helped us acclimatize comfortably and avoid altitude-related discomfort. We also had the opportunity to make flower candles during our stay, which was a wonderful experience. A special thank you to 小钢, who patiently guided us through the activity and even carefully packed our finished candles so beautifully that all we had to do was pick them up and bring them home the next day. It was such a thoughtful gesture and a wonderful example of the attention to detail that made our stay so special. One of the highlights was the beautiful property and the adorable animals on-site. Alan even took the time to cut fresh carrots for us to feed the goats, which was such a thoughtful touch and made the experience even more enjoyable. The hospitality never stopped, no matter how late it was. We returned to the hotel around 11pm one evening after a long day of exploring, and 麦克 prepared comforting hot dessert soup for us (despite it being past the time for dessert soup). It was exactly what we needed and such a memorable gesture that made us feel truly cared for. Another moment that stood out was late one night when we realized we needed extra towels and pillows. 小罗 responded quickly and kindly helped us get everything we needed despite the late hour. His willingness to assist us so promptly made us feel incredibly well looked after and was yet another example of the outstanding service we experienced throughout our stay. We were also especially grateful to 小雨 for helping us navigate a Taobao return during our stay, which could have been quite complicated without her assistance. Several other staff members also kindly helped with collecting my package. Their teamwork and willingness to assist with something beyond the usual scope of hotel services truly impressed us. As our trip came to an end, Alan kindly drove us to the train station early in the morning and gave us a warm send-off. It was the perfect ending to an already wonderful stay and reflected the genuine care and hospitality we experienced throughout our time at the hotel. The warmth, attentiveness, and sincerity shown by every member of the team made our experience in Shangri-La truly wonderful. Every interaction reflected a level of hospitality that is increasingly rare to find, and their genuine care played a significant role in making this trip so memorable. We are incredibly grateful for the experience and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Shangri-La. We will definitely be back!

The homestay is located near to pickup or dropping point. Very convenient for Didi or taxy. The distance between ancient town and homestay takes about 3-5 minutes depends on how quick you climb up or going down the stairs😬 The host also very kind and helpful when we asked to upgrade our room for a better view. Also he make sure to gave us tea every night. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and will repeat here in the future🥳
