"The Koko Hotel surprised us with its service for guests, such as welcome drinks and good breakfast, as well as its large rooms occupied with a sofa and table in there. Besides, the hotel is located right in the city center, that is very convenient for exploring Kanazawa's main tourist destinations, museums, and even for shopping. However, what we really appreciated was the hotel's staff. We had never encountered such warm hospitality, respect, and assistance in our problem that we had faced as we arrived to the hotel. To be specific, my son lost his bag, but he couldn't remember where it could happen whether it was in a local bus from the Kanazawa station or in a highway bus that we took from Shirakawa-go station. The hotel manager called both the local bus company as well as and to the highway bus company to get reliable information. Unfortunately, the bag couldn't been find."

"The triple room was spacious. Although it wasn't a hot spring hotel, it had a public bath, massage chairs, and complimentary ice cream, allowing guests to relax after their bath. The facilities were excellent, with art pieces on display and a beautifully designed courtyard garden where guests could quietly appreciate the scenery. The breakfast was plentiful and varied, with a delightful surprise of ice cream included. Attention to detail was evident, such as providing elastic bands to secure the sleeves of the yukata."

"This was a truly satisfying stay. Before checking in, I had visited Shirakawa-go and was a little disappointed not to see any snow. But then, on my first morning at the hotel, I pulled back the curtains to find it snowing heavily! It was absolutely amazing. I decided right then and there not to go anywhere and just enjoy the snow from the hotel. The hotel is a bit older, but the room was clean and tidy. I had upgraded my room, and it wasn't small at all. The area mentioned in the description probably just refers to the room itself, but the entryway was also very spacious, allowing me to easily open my large luggage. The indoor balcony in front was also quite large, perfect for a family to sit and enjoy the snow. The floor-to-ceiling windows offered direct mountain views, with the river flowing right below. The large floor-to-ceiling windows in the restaurant lobby were even more stunning – it was wonderful to enjoy the snow while dining. Even the outdoor onsen provided beautiful views of the snow and river while soaking. The best part was how few people there were; both times, it was just me and my daughter, so there was no need to book a private onsen. Behind the hotel, there's a walking trail. We explored it that day, and while the heavy snow made it a bit challenging to walk, it was incredibly beautiful and completely deserted. Every photo we took was a scenic masterpiece. Our shoes and socks got wet on the way back, but thankfully, we didn't feel cold. There are convenience stores and supermarkets nearby, making it very convenient to buy food and other necessities. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends. The staff were also very friendly. Although most of them didn't speak English, they used translation software, so communication was just a bit slow."

"It's a large hotel with many rooms, so checking in around 3 PM took a little while. You can get there from Kanazawa Station through the Rinto station building, so I recommend going through the station building on hot, cold, or rainy days. Free ramen is available as a late-night snack from 9:30 PM. The portion was quite generous, so I think it might be enough for a regular meal for someone with a small appetite. There's also free coffee and a large public bath, so overall it was a good experience."

"Everything was good, but I'm afraid I can't give high marks for the facilities and service. It was self-check-in, and cleaning only happened after a few days' stay. I was a bit annoyed to find the hotel was cheaper after I booked it. When I asked about a room upgrade, they seemed really surprised, like, why be surprised if it's not possible? It's like going to a public bathhouse, seeing people naked, and then being surprised – the sign says no surprises! Secondly, there were no facilities whatsoever. It's one thing not to have disposable slippers for adults, but they didn't even have them for kids, only adult-sized ones. My child was clattering around in oversized slippers. If they don't cater to children, they should state that they don't accept kids. As for disposable skincare products, razors, and combs, forget about it, definitely none of those. Although my son said this was the worst hotel we've ever booked, I don't think it's that bad. The large public bath was quite comfortable. I hope the owner improves things."

"This onsen hotel is located behind Yamanaka Onsen. Although it shows its age, it's been newly renovated, giving it a clean and well-maintained feel. The room was spacious, and the bed and bedding were very comfortable. The best feature of this hotel is its location. Crossing the pink bridge immediately connects you to Yamanaka's attractions. It's an area with beautiful walking trails, lush forest valleys, and waterfalls. You can hear bird songs and the sound of the valley stream from your room. Additionally, from 30 minutes before check-in until 11 PM, a variety of alcoholic beverages, snacks, and drinks are available unlimitedly. It's a hotel where you can enjoy unlimited sake while gazing at beautiful nature. The quality of the onsen water is also top-notch."

"The spa pool is kind of small, but overall services was good. We drove to the famous Kenroku-en garden and reached there within 8 mins. And 3 bus stops away Kanazawa station, very convenient."

"KAI Kaga inherited hundreds of years of hot spring inns and used new modern models to attract tourists in the hope of driving crowds to the hot springs in nearby districts. However, it turns out that the surrounding area is very deserted. Except for KAI Kaga, which is fully booked on weekends, there are almost no crowds. The surrounding shops are either closed or on the way to closing, and the nearby shrines specially marked as tourist attractions are also deserted. The hotel itself, the rooms, the hot springs, the facilities and the food are all average, but it is really not worth the price (it may also be that there are more people on weekends and the price is higher). The high unit price will easily make people look at the small details through a magnifying glass, and they will find that many small areas need to be strengthened. Another drawback is that there is no shuttle service from the station to the hotel (other lower-priced hotels nearby offer that). If you don't happen to pass by and want to take a hot spring bath, it is not recommended to come here specifically. In the end, I didn't give a bad review because the service staff were relatively young and had a good attitude. Xingye has its own set of training for its employees."

"This is my go-to hotel whenever I visit Kaga Onsen in Komatsu; I've stayed here a total of five times. That's how satisfied I am with their service, the quality of their hot springs, and the variety of food they offer. They even provide unlimited snacks, onsen eggs, drinks, and potatoes throughout the day, which is so good you barely need a full meal. There are three different hot spring baths, and since they operate on a rotating schedule for men and women, you get to experience all the different tubs. The facilities are well-maintained and spotless. I highly recommend it! The staff are all incredibly friendly, giving you a true taste of Japanese hospitality."

"Location is convenient. Front desk staff are helpful & friendly. Mr Yagi-San is especially professional and helpful! He has even helped us to book our bus tickets with very detailed details and instructions. Hotel buffet breakfast has limited choices of food but quality is ok. Overall, we are very happy with this hotel."
