The front desk and exterior look decent, but the rooms are quite standard, on par with a budget hotel. Cleanliness is okay. There's not much in terms of service. The Japanese woman who checked me in was quite impolite and seemed grumpy. Breakfast options are very limited. The main advantage is the convenient location and good transport links. I can only give it this score, mainly because Utsunomiya doesn't seem to have many better hotel options.

Although it is far from the center, the parking lot that can accommodate enough cars is free, and it is safe to go to the hotel even if it is late. This is a big Merritt. There is no modern modernity, but there is a style even if you look at the lobby. The room is large enough. The restaurant tastes great everywhere. I still don't forget the deliciousness of the first French toast at Fontana for breakfast. The lunch at the restaurant used on the upper floors at the meeting was French and exquisite. I operate the machine at check-in, but I felt that it did not contribute to labor saving, so I felt like I was losing time. I want to expect improvement.

4.5 stars!  Property is older but extremely well maintained.  The corner western/Japanese rooms are spacious with two western beds and tatami area, single japanese bath and shower area and separate toilet area, mini fridge, tv, sitting area overlooking the river and table with four chairs as well as a massage chair!  Onsen area has both indoor and outdoor areas separate for men and women and a cold plunge as well as multiple hot baths.  Minus half a star for low staffing in the store/cafe areas (often no staff member to be found when kakigori desired), no in house lunch option and overly fatty meat on the 3rd night dinner (breakfast and dinner were LARGE and BEAUTIFUL but perhaps heavy on the yuba.  Also, shuttle to the train station is only at 10 and 11am and getting cabs is difficult.  However, would overwhelmingly recommend Nikko Senhime Monogatari!

Really perfect!! We love the location and easy access to places if you have a car…The room was really nice, clean and recommended for everyone to stay at! We had a really great time here.

There are shuttle buses from Tobu Nikko Station and Jr Nikko Station every hour. It feels quite convenient. It takes about 20 minutes to drive from the station to the hotel. The hotel is in the mountains, the environment and air are very good. Staying for 1 night and 2 nights, we took the shuttle bus at 4 o'clock and arrived at the hotel at around 5 o'clock. It was the second batch's turn for dinner at around 7 o'clock. We couldn't change the time, so we waited until we were hungry. Dinner is still very rich, with a variety of good dishes, and the steak is recommended. There are also a variety of alcoholic beverages. Breakfast was also good. The hot spring is on the top floor, the water is very good, and there is an outdoor hot spring. You can soak in the hot spring and enjoy the night, moonlight or starry sky. The hotel room is also large and overall very good. Disadvantages: The pillows are not very comfortable and a bit hard. In addition, the sink and table are relatively low in design, making them not very convenient to use.

The facilities and hospitality of the hotel mentioned above are close to full marks. On the other hand, unfortunately the cleaning of the hot spring bath is not so good, and there is nothing that can be done about the quality of the hot spring water. And the quality of the dinner. The number of dishes is more than enough, but I would like them to take the taste more seriously. I would like food that tastes good, not just the price.

This hotel was about 30 minutes drive from Nasu Animal Kingdom and was on the mountain road. There are no convenience stores or supermarkets near the hotel, so I think it is better to buy beverages brought in at convenience stores found early. The room was very clean and the staff 々 was kind, polite, kind and happy. Thank you. What impressed me especially was that the full course of dinner was very delicious, and the beautiful golf course spreading from the window while eating made me have a calm time. I was able to eat slowly in a quiet place, probably because there were many calm adults in the customer base. Breakfast was also very delicious in a buffet style where you can choose fresh vegetables, rice, bread, side dishes, etc. The hot spring on the 2nd floor is a cold mineral spring, and it is called a hot spring of beautiful skin, so my skin became smooth and smooth ♪ I went twice at night and in the morning, but I was able to relax so that I could sigh. There was also a fitness room and an esthetic salon on the second floor. Also, the drinks to drink while watching the stars on the veranda of the room at night were the best and comfortable time The room feels a bit old, but it was very large, and the towels and roomware were clean and cozy. The bed was a little hard and I could sleep just right. The air conditioner can be adjusted in the room and there is also an air cleaner. However, there is no outlet near the bed and it seems that the mobile phone cannot be charged at the bedside. Maybe it was somewhere? I thought again that I was glad to choose this place because it was better than I imagined in everything. I would like to use it when I come to Nasu again ♪

It only takes 5 minutes to walk from the station to the hotel. The hotel is large and has many facilities for children. The dinner buffet is average compared to the breakfast buffet. But overall they are very satisfied.

I was able to relax in the sauna bath. The breakfast buffet was also very delicious. The staff were very polite and it felt great. Thank you very much!
