Food was excellent. Breakfast has a lot of options. Bedrooms are very large. Everything went fine except when i arrived the door guys didnt even moved to offer to take my suitcase. I noticed that this happened to other guests. They just stand there and watch. That is not good for a 5 star hotel. Everything else was fine.

The double room we were given was spacious and very well equipped. It had a central air conditioning system that was very easy to use, and windows for ample ventilation.
The bathroom had a hairdryer.
The pool is nice, spacious, and has towel and bar service. Surprisingly, during our stay, guests rarely used it.
The breakfast is excellent, very complete, varied, and delicious. A spectacular buffet with good service, it had everything from seasonal fruits to cakes, hot dishes, various types of bread, and so on. Without a doubt, there was something for every palate.
The hotel restaurant, which is the same one that provides breakfast, also provides other meals at an additional cost. The first night we went to dinner at the hotel and we were surprised by the quality of the food, the mix of flavors, and the excellent service they had with us. Without a doubt, it was one of the best gastronomic experiences we had in Salvador.
To improve, I will only mention one important detail, and that is the fact that guests should not be interrupted at any time to check the items in the minibar during their stay. I honestly do not understand why there are hotels that have this policy, and even less so at this level, when it is something that can easily be done during room cleaning and/or check-out.
Regarding the structure of the hotel, the leisure area is very beautiful, everything is very beautiful and original, with beautiful views, a gym, a bar, a restaurant, but nothing more. Opposite the room, it was terrible, all the rooms are very old, the mattresses are not good, they look very old. After I went to the hotel for two days and put all the ”worries” of my two-month-old daughter and my wife in, my wife started complaining that the room looked unclean. Lying on the bed, complained that both pillows smelled very shampoo, which meant they did not change the use of them in the last guest. I left to find a friend and said that Cuiabá was staying at this hotel (that’s why I chose to stay at Eco Bahia Hotel), and when I returned to my room, I went to the bathroom (until then) No one has used it) and the rest of the vase with excrement, that is, it means that they have not cleaned or cleaned the bathroom in any way. We had planned to change rooms, but since we had to carry a lot of baby supplies and organize from one room to another, we decided to stay there because we only stayed in the hotel for two days. Room spacious and clean, bed comfortable, sheets and towels good quality, AC works well and is quiet, breakfast absolutely great with excellent coffee and outstanding offerings, check-in fast and friendly. I wish we were staying at Novotel Salvador longer.
We had Seafood Risotto at the restaurant and it was very generous with the seafood, but took about an hour so bring a book if you plan to eat dinner here.
