Ξενοδοχεία με Gym σε Ontario, Canada

Great hotel, great location and excellent front of house reception team with a warm welcome. Rooms are large but need a refurbishment as looking a tad worn and tatty. I understand that some refurbishment is in progress to the rooms and restaurant. Beware: our holding deposit had not been returned after we checked out on June. 11, even though there was no spend on the room. Even after 8 days, I cannot get my deposit returned - so recommend you insist on a return on checkout.

My husband and I stayed here from September 9 to 10 last for our 20th wedding anniversary. We had a medical appointment down the road so it was a convenient location. Here are some of our observations where they could do better. 1. l use a cane with my disability, and there was no luggage trolly in the lobby when we arrived. I had to haul two heavy bags on one arm while using my cane with the other hand. 2. I checked to see that there was body wash for our evening and morning showers and the bottle was completely empty. The housekeeping staff hadn't refilled and we had to find someone to put a new bottle into the shower. It's a good thing I checked and didn't get a rude awakening in the morning. 3. The picture in the room looked as though something was thrown at it and went down the glass. There were two streaks and it was very disgusting. Obviously, the cleaning had not been done properly in the room. 4. Nowhere on the website was there mention of a continental breakfast so we were quite surprised that there wouldn't be your typical eggs, bacon, sausage. Etc. It was very disappointing. We only found out because we got on the elevator, and there was an ad taped to the inside of the elevator. At the time of booking, all it said was free breakfast included. 5. The shower-head sprayed all over the ceiling when it was turned on, so we had to put a face cloth over it to contain the spray 6. The microwave glass tray did not rotate so when you put something in there, it didn't heat it up evenly. It actually burned the item. 7. Bathroom light fixtures were covered with caked on dust. I wrote my name in one of them. It's Obvious that the housekeeping staff does not pay attention to cleaning - only does minimum.

The service, amenities, and dining all meet a certain standard. It only takes about 25 minutes to drive from the airport to the hotel, yet the hotel is located in the city center. I stayed in room 408 and initially thought it might be noisy being on a lower floor, but it turned out to be quite good. A special shout-out goes to Ms. Monira from housekeeping; whenever I returned, she had already quietly tidied and cleaned the room perfectly. What's even more impressive is that she would arrange my belongings according to my habits, which is incredibly thoughtful and personalized. She is a very responsible and meticulous employee. I will definitely choose Holiday Inn Toronto Downtown Centre by IHG again next time I visit my daughter in Toronto.

This was our first time staying at Americana and we are very pleased with the experience. We drove 3 hours from northern Ontario and it was worth it! We went with another family for New Year's Eve and our children had such a wonderful time. We ordered room service, went to the waterpark several times, played in the arcade and our kids had so much fun. We are planning to come back next year!

The parking, although costing, could not have been more convenient. The location was also outstanding, being so close to the CN-Tower and many restaurants. The unit was great and I'm so glad i requested an upper floor with a balcony as the weather was nice and we sat out there many times, day and night. So nice having two bathrooms and the extra bedroom for extra space. Very well appointed as well. I left to go to the hockey game and realized I had left my key in the room and I was freaked as I didn't know how I'd get back in, as the rental company is not onsite. I got in touch with them and they reminded me that it must be unlocked as the key is need to lock the door from the exterior. Stupid me didn't remember that so disaster averted, although the unit was unlocked. The concierge did go up to make sure it was indeed unlocked and untouched to their eyes. Overall, would love to come back and stay there again, totally satisfied. Thanks again for your assistance with the key debacle..MSP

initailly out room keypad was out of battery but the staff was very friendly they assisted and provided us another room asap no wait staff was very helpful and polite perfect hotel away from tourist crowds parking is additional 15$ onsite rooms are clean and good there is no smoking or bad smell in rooms rooms with balcony have a view view shows river amd part of falls awesome hotel prices high on weekends otherwise better than big brands hotel was a piece of mind

Pros: a parking lot with sufficient space (no need to book in advance). A shopping mall St Laurent is nearby. The breakfast is ok. There are 2 sockets and 2 USB-A outlet on each side of the bed. The staff are friendly in general. Cons: A bit far away from the tourist attractions downtown (around 10 minutes drive). The coffee from the in-room coffee machine was so-so. The air-conditioner was quite noisy. The TV in my room couldn't be turned off (It went off automatically after no-signal for a while anyway). There were some paper cups for coffee but no other glass / cups in the whole room even for brushing teeth so I had to use paper cups for brushing teeth (Is it considered environmental friendly?)

Hotel is conveniently close to the airport. Shuttle service was very reliable, and super useful for even just getting to the UP terminal at Pearson to head downtown. Room was clean, building was clearly recently renovated, signs of aging do show beneath paint, but it doesnt take away from the overall cleanliness.

I am writing to express my profound dissatisfaction and to formally lodge a severe complaint regarding the unacceptable conditions of my stay at your property from 2 july to 3 july. My experience was nothing short of disastrous, characterized by an uninhabitable room environment, a blatant lack of accountability from your staff, and an absolute refusal by management to rectify the situation. During my stay, the climate control in my room was entirely inoperable. I approached the reception multiple times in a desperate attempt to resolve the issue: First Instance: The technician dispatched to my room explicitly admitted that the entire system was fundamentally broken due to a severe heating malfunction. Second Instance: The ”solution” provided by your staff was a completely ineffective portable fan. This gesture did absolutely nothing to alleviate the stifling, oppressive heat. The room remained a sweltering, suffocating box, utterly depriving me of sleep for the entire night. Third Instance: Exhausted and distressed, I went down to the reception a third time. Rather than moving me to a functional room, the overnight staff completely deflected responsibility, telling me there was nothing more they could do and instructing me to speak directly with management in the morning. The situation deteriorated further the next morning. When I approached the manager to demand a resolution for this intolerable ordeal, I was met with total dismissal. The manager callously deflected all accountability, claiming that because my booking was made through a third party, he ”cannot help with anything” and ”cannot do anything” to fix their own property's failure. Instead of taking ownership of a severe breach of hospitality standards, the manager simply handed me this email address to deal with the problem myself. Let me be entirely clear: a third-party booking does not excuse a hotel from providing basic, habitable living conditions. I did not pay to spend a sleepless night suffocating in a health hazard, nor did I pay to be brushed off by your on-site management. Because your property failed to provide a liveable room and your management failed to handle the crisis, I demand a full, immediate refund for this stay. If this matter is not addressed promptly and with the gravity it deserves, I will escalate this complaint to your corporate office, notify the booking platform of your refusal to cooperate, and publicly expose this experience online. I expect a swift response confirming that my refund is being processed. Sincerely, Rahul Tomer 416-834-4888

Stayed here in 2018 and had a great impression, so I decided to return. It felt like revisiting an old haunt. The room was clean, the bed was large, and the bedding was excellent.
