This B&B is located within Luoyi Ancient City. Though the entrance isn't grand, once you step inside, it feels like a hidden gem. It's built in the style of a traditional courtyard house, with a rooftop terrace that offers a close-up view of the Drum Tower. The whole place has such a wonderful vibe. We booked a king-size room with a private balcony, which was quite spacious. The furnishings had an antique charm, and waking up to the sounds of roosters crowing and birds chirping was incredibly comforting. The mattress and pillows were just the right firmness, perfect for recovering after a day of sightseeing. The bathroom amenities were also excellent, with a lovely fragrance. The towels were soft and comfortable, and surprisingly, they even provided a bath mat, which you usually only find in high-end hotels. It made us feel both reassured and pampered – seems like the owner has great taste! 😉 The front desk staff was also very welcoming and helpful, providing recommendations for nearby attractions and restaurants. However, there was one minor issue: the bathroom mirror in the room was a bit impractical. It was quite far from the sink, and there was no magnifying mirror 🪞. As someone who needs to get close to the mirror to put in contact lenses, I found this inconvenient. 😂 Overall, though, I would definitely recommend this B&B! 👍👍👍

Wonderful stay. Definitely will recommend to others. Room is clean, beds are comfortable, host is friendly. Location is great. Away from the ancient city, You turn left from the inn to the main road, there is a really popular dumpling shop next to the police station, and on the main road if you turn left, there is a massage parlour on level 3, and further down is the night food market with great food. (Much better than what they offer in the ancient city) ranging from a 5-15 min walk. If you head towards the ancient city, turn right from the inn and it feels like you’re there already, but it’s just the outside of the wall, about 5 mins walk, you meet the actual entrance. And super picturesque. Thank you host. You guys are great!

Our stay at Qichi Riverside B&B in Luoyang was truly wonderful! The location is great, very close to Luoyi Ancient City, and the surroundings are beautiful and quiet. The B&B host was incredibly kind and thoughtful. They helped us hang our clothes to dry and even lent us their phone number to order takeout 📱. Every day, there was hot coffee and milk tea available, and before we left, they even gave us a small gift. It was full of warm hospitality ❤️.

We absolutely loved our stay at LongmenShouyan Hotel. If you’re coming to Luoyang to visit the Longmen Grottoes, this is the perfect place to stay. The hotel is located right in the heart of Longmen Ancient Streets, surrounded by beautiful architecture, local food, shops, and a fantastic atmosphere, especially in the evening. One of the biggest advantages is the location. It’s only a short walk to the front entrance of the Longmen Grottoes, making it incredibly convenient to visit one of China’s most spectacular historical sites. Walking along the Yi River and seeing more than 100,000 Buddhist statues and carvings etched into the limestone cliffs was truly unforgettable. The craftsmanship, history, and sheer scale of the grottoes are breathtaking. The hotel itself is beautiful, with a peaceful and authentic atmosphere that perfectly complements the surrounding ancient streets. The rooms were comfortable, clean, spacious and well presented, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. We’re only staying for one night, but we genuinely wish we had booked longer. This has been one of our favourite stays in China so far, and we would happily return. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Luoyang and the Longmen Grottoes.

The best hotel to stay in Luoyang, perfect location in the oldtown part of the city. It ais a beautiful newly renovated heritage house turned into hotel. The staffs are amazing, very helpful. My husband got injured during this trip and the staffs so helpful with everything to make sure our holiday went smoothly. Room was quite big for 3 of us, all equipped with smart tech. Staffs speak abit english but there is a translator device and we communicate with wechat so no problem at all. Very recommended place to stay in luoyang

The owner was really welcoming and provided excellent service. The guesthouse is super close to Luoyi Ancient City, just a few minutes' walk away, and there are tons of food options nearby. We even tried a hotpot place near the ancient city that the owner recommended. I actually suggested this place to a friend who's visiting Luoyang soon, but unfortunately, they were fully booked that day. The service was top-notch, and breakfast was delicious. Parking was a bit tricky, but if you let the owner know beforehand to reserve a spot at the back and then follow their instructions when you arrive, it's fine. Overall, it's a great place and I highly recommend it!

Fantastic stay! The whole team was so friendly particularly the ladies at concierge - who were so welcoming and helpful with everything, that made our one night stay truly memorable! One of my favourite cities in China, so steep in history that I recommend more than a few days to enjoy everything! Will definitely come back some day! The only thing I would suggest is for some signage to let potential guests know where you are! We had to do some rounds with heavy luggage on a warm day and only found out the hotel was on the second level because we asked a local! Thank you to the whole team for treasured memories!

It is our first time in China - it was a great stay - owner is very helpful - helped us to organise the tickets to Zen Music Festival, and she showed us the attractions in the area, we enjoyed the food - traditional breakfast, we had traditional hot pot for the dinner - great experience, also she made for us in the evening traditional tea (Pu-erh, and green tea) - unforgettable moments. Thank you very much for the hospitality.

After a long search, I chose this hotel and was delighted to find its location absolutely superb. The room facilities were clean, modern, and exactly as pictured. It was less than a two-minute walk to the Yingbin Gate of Shangqing Garden. Stepping out of the hotel, you're right by the riverbank, and the evening views are especially beautiful. After a tiring afternoon exploring the garden, we could relax in the small courtyard and enjoy the scenery. Since we arrived quite late, the owner personally helped us with our luggage, which was incredibly welcoming. He also gave us recommendations for places to eat. Our first night was on the second floor, where we enjoyed the view from the balcony. Due to high demand, we extended our stay and moved to a ground-floor room with a small courtyard for the second night. Both rooms had their own unique charm. I rarely leave reviews, but I truly felt the owner's dedication to running this place, so I wanted to show my support.

We were a group of six and drove from Yexian to Kaifeng yesterday. We stumbled upon this B&B online during our drive. The pillows and mattresses were so comfortable that we slept soundly until morning! We all agreed it was fantastic and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Kaifeng. When we checked out today, they even gave each of us a souvenir. We were truly touched by their thoughtfulness! Also, since we drove, they helped us with our luggage. They also gave us excellent recommendations for where to eat and where to buy local specialties. We truly felt cared for and could relax and enjoy our time in Kaifeng without a worry. Thumbs up to these entrepreneurs! They really put their heart into it!
