Service: Enthusiastic. Environment: Central location in town with all amenities nearby, and well-equipped room facilities! Cleanliness: Clean and tidy. This is my second visit to Semporna, so I'm quite familiar with the hotels and their surroundings. While this hostel's private rooms might not offer the absolute best value for money, they are still quite good.

This hostel is centrally located in Semporna town, surrounded by several large supermarkets and restaurants. It's a 5-minute walk to the mosque, an 8-minute walk to the Marine Visitor Centre, and a 7-minute walk to Watsons. The hostel reception offers island hopping day trips and carpooling services to Tawau Airport. The owner and staff are patient and helpful in answering travel inquiries. The owner speaks Chinese, so communication was easy, and they helped resolve many travel-related issues. A simple breakfast is provided; although it only includes fried noodles, bread, and coffee, it's enough to fill you up. You can't expect too much, considering it's a budget hostel. Cleanliness is a plus. Overall, the accommodation was quite good and worth recommending. 😊👍

The location is excellent, close to the beach and convenient for Gaya Street, with plenty of food and drink options nearby. However, the layout is a bit impractical; the toilet is too far from the 4-person room. Having to cross a public area to get to the bathroom in the middle of the night is really inconvenient. Everything else was acceptable.

I had a great stay! The capsule-style bunk beds were clean, comfortable, and provided good privacy with personal lighting and charging ports. The room was cozy and well-maintained, and the shared space felt safe and quiet. Perfect for budget travelers. Would definitely recommend!

My trip to Kota Kinabalu was unplanned and I bought my tickets only two days before flying. With such a last minute plan, I decided not to spend much on accommodation. I looked through a few hostel options online and this one stood out mainly because of its central location, so I went ahead and booked it. The hostel is very easy to locate. Just follow the signs and you will find it without any issue. It is on the first floor, which means you only need to go one level up from the ground. When I arrived, the staff were friendly and check in was fast. The same can be said about check out. Everything was simple. The bed was okay and quite standard for hostel stays. My bed was comfortable enough, had a window and came with a charging port which made things convenient. The bathroom was also fine. I only wish guests, especially ladies, would throw their hair into the dustbin instead of leaving it on the wall. It would make the bathroom nicer for everyone. All in all, it was a reasonable stay and matched what I expected for the price. Everything was generally good and okay.

To be honest, since it was my first time traveling abroad, I was worried about not being well-prepared. I met William through reviews on Ctrip and booked the hotel there. He arranged everything for me during my three-day stay and even paid for my expenses out of his own pocket. I didn't join a tour group; I prefer independent travel. My wife felt a little unwell after eating seafood, and he kindly provided her with medicine. The hotel service was excellent, and we could even cook our own meals. The hotel was clean and tidy, the rooms were cozy and spacious, and the location was superb. William was also very friendly, and the room price was very reasonable—great value for money! I had a comfortable and pleasant stay, and the hotel was very welcoming. Not bad! Even though you can't wear shoes inside, it's very clean! I loved the cats! Lots of young people around! Recommended! They have staff who speak Chinese, but most aren't usually available.

I honestly recommend this hostel! This place is very clean, bed is comfortable, they have also hot shower (!!!) . I would like to thank a beautiful girl on reception (sorry, I forgot your name)). She is so kind !!!! She has been helping me million times, because I had many asks of favors)))). And one more thing to prefer this hostel - there's no breakfast, but they serve some products for it, so you won't be hungry to start your day on early morning tour adventures))) thank you very much, guys)))

hye. the lady at front counter very amazing, very friendly and helpful. the room is also tidy, just nice for 1-2 traveller. however, there are some amenities that are broken..the plug in the room is broken, so i can only use one plug. and the door at the ladies toilet also broken and very dangerous because it can. falll and hit others. i hope the technical and management team are aware of this. they need to check often. other than that im satisfied. especially the location since it is very very near to the entrance of imago mall.

This hotel is perfect for business travelers. The Wi-Fi connection was fast and stable, which was essential for my work. The location is very strategic, close to many offices and transport hubs. Even though it's in a busy area, the soundproofing in the room was excellent, allowing me to get a good night's sleep. Will definitely return.
