"Hands down a comfy and lovely place to stay. Room was clean, you get slippers and towel. Staff do a great job keeping up with cleaning the bathrooms. I’m a solo English speaking traveler, didn’t make any friends here but you always can! We all seemed comfortable and chill it was not awkward. Staff was helpful and friendly. Yummy coffee, on e of the better ones I’ve gotten, better than some expensive one, strong but sweet. For resting the bed was great, not a light sleeper so I was fine with it but I was button but my head was next to the door and can hear people coming in and also outside the door. I can sleep through it and I slept well. They have a nice fluffy duvet blanket. I did ask up hot the 2 days I stayed there not, maybe it was the ac maybe the blanket, I think it’s the ac? Location is perfect and has many local food stalls, restaurants, and even bar just out side"

"This was my first time in Xingyi, and I chose this hostel. The owner was very kind and helpful, patiently answering any questions I had. The hostel was newly renovated, comfortable, and clean. The bedding was changed after each guest, and I didn't have to make my own bed or unpack it when I left. The common area was spacious, perfect for chatting or relaxing. The hostel was conveniently located near transportation and restaurants, and it was also close to the prefectural library and museum, just a few hundred meters away. For just over 30 yuan, the air conditioning was unlimited, the washing machine was free, there was drinking water, and free toilet paper in the restrooms and common areas – a great deal! In short, this is the perfect hostel in Xingyi, and I'll definitely come back. I wish the owner great success and prosperity."

Charming room in historical building but with modern amenities. The owner speaks English well and gets out of his way to help his guest. Anander, the owner, walked to taxi with me and got taxi for me since it was a busy time during National Holiday. He is very attentive providing cold water during the hot days. The owner helped contacting my next hotel and gave advice for easy transportation with following up late to make sure I got safely to the next hotel. Best service I ever had traveling in China!"
