"Location: Not far from Central Park, within walking distance. You can walk through Central Park to the Metropolitan Museum of Art. It's one block from the subway station, a 3-minute walk, very close. There's an Indian-owned supermarket across the street. If you turn right when you exit and walk for three or four minutes, you'll find a Chinese restaurant called The Tang. Interior: The interior is like a dorm with bunk beds. I booked a female dorm. There are dedicated showers and toilets on each floor, with individual shower stalls. The hot water and shower are both great. On the floor where the front desk is located, there's a food area that serves breakfast, with fruits, drinks, and coffee available from 6:00 AM to 11:00 PM. Next to it, there are several tables and chairs for eating, reading, or just relaxing. Down one floor, there's a very spacious common kitchen with plenty of public pots, pans, dishes, etc. There's also a public refrigerator, four or five stoves with ovens, and another four or five stoves without ovens, all available for cooking. There's also a dining area nearby. Please refer to the photos and videos, which are all of the kitchen. Overall, I think it's very worthwhile, especially for solo travelers. It's economical, convenient, and stress-free. At an average of 500 RMB per night, it must be very cheap for New York. I saw many young people/students staying here. I recommend this place for individuals who want to explore New York casually. For family trips with two or three people, a regular hotel might be more suitable when you do the math."

"This hotel offers incredibly easy access to John F. Kennedy Airport and Newark Liberty International Airport, as it's just a 5-minute walk from Penn Station. Be aware that you'll need to climb stairs to reach the 4th and 5th floors. The staff are very attentive and polite. While the private rooms are small, the price point for New York City makes it a great value. Everything is well-maintained and clean. They are very considerate about noise and snoring; during my stay, it was exceptionally quiet, and I was able to rest peacefully (earplugs were provided in the room, though I didn't need them). For breakfast, there's a generous spread of various breads, fruits, muffins, drinks, and more. There isn't much public space. They do store luggage, but the management of it felt a bit concerning – it was left in the hallway, almost as if anyone could just pick it up. The hotel has a strong Indian vibe."

"After living in New York for three days, the room is really small. The 28-inch suitcase can't be opened flat, because it is a vegetarian hotel. You can't eat it. The front desk prepares fruit bread and milk. The public bath is very good and the travel is convenient. Suitable for one person to travel"

"Well, i understand that this is one is one of the most affordable accommodation in a prime location so the price is not cheap; however, i believe the room condition could be better 1. I found trace of glass shard in the room floor 2. The bathroom and toilet facility are quite small compared to room quantity 3. The bed condition is really bad and totally loosen"

"The hotel was easy to find, with a small bar on the first floor. The front desk staff was very patient and explained everything clearly. The room itself was pretty standard but had all the necessary facilities, which was great!"

"Staff were very welcoming and supportive, and you'd be hard-pressed to find a cheaper place to stay in Upper West Manhattan. One thing the beds could use is curtains, for privacy, and chargers, bunks like the latest Hostel International designs. I stayed in the private room during the week, so I'm not sure what the larger dorms are like."

"I thought it was a really relaxing place. Since June 5th, I have stayed several times in a row. I stayed for almost a month, but it is very convenient because there are restaurants, a market, and a convenience store nearby. Good location. After all, it's safe and secure, and it feels like a little sure house with a round on each floor. I want to use it again. The staff were all very kind. The front door is also safe with a security door. I was relieved with a security door that could not be easily invaded from the outside."

"The location is the best!! Super near to subway. Sooo easy for traveling alone. Also near Asian zone, who love Asian food, i really recommend. Plus they have Hey tea near by. Bed is comfy for sleeping, room and bathroom also clean. Cons : it is the noise outside but for me is ok."

"Kama Central Park is an ideal place for budget travellers going to New York. It's a 3 minute walk from the nearest subway station with connections to Downtown. The beds are comfortable. The staff were also friendly upon check-in. The facilities could be improved a little - the showers are small and there is no space to put dry clothing or change in privacy, the beds don't have power sockets - only USB. The air conditioning in the individual beds is appreciated however is also loud but not very effective. However I did enjoy my stay at Kama Central Park and I'd recommend it to those on a budget."
