"The location was excellent. You were right in the city center as soon as you stepped outside. It was right next to a shopping mall and the train station, so the transport connections were fantastic. The breakfast was delicious! The service was incredibly friendly! The room was also really lovely at first glance. The shower in the bathroom was a bit odd, especially the shower curtain. It didn't close completely, so it soaked the sink and everything you put on it, as well as the mirror. The sink was huge, but unfortunately, the faucet was so small that it was practically unusable. Washing your face was rather difficult. The beds were a bit hard, but otherwise, it was quite good overall. Unfortunately, screen sharing with the TV wasn't possible, as they had disabled that feature, along with many other settings. However, they did have a few German channels."

"This is an excellent option for a budget-friendly overnight stay. The hostel is centrally located, 5-10 minutes from shops and about 15 minutes from the train station. We had booked a four-bed room, but we were given an eight-bed room instead. The room was clean, the bedding was spotless, and the bed was comfortable. As mentioned in other reviews, the room light cannot actually be turned off, but there are curtains that effectively block out the light. However, it can get stuffy behind the curtains. Each 'capsule' has a light, a power outlet, and a small shelf. There are individual lockers with electronic keys. The shower has good hot water pressure. As for the downsides, there are two other power outlets in the room, but no shelves next to them. For eight beds, there's only one shower combined with a toilet, which can lead to long queues for the bathroom in the mornings and evenings. There were four of us, so it wasn't an issue, but for eight people, it would be a real problem. The room was in the basement, and I was worried that crows or rats might come in through the open window from the street :) Luckily, we had no such guests ;) There's a noisy bar at the reception, but it wasn't audible in the room at all, nor were the neighbors. The room was very quiet. It's a pity there's no access to hot water or a microwave; that would have been a big plus."

"The breakfast was adequate but not fabulous (especially in terms of the protein choices) - there are preserved meats like hams and sausages and the only alternative is eggs (scsrambled and hardboiled) - if you are a pescatarian, it might not work so well for you. The highlight of the buffet was likely the waffle-maker (self-service). There are various milks available for your drinks, juices, water, tea, coffee. There is limited yoghurt (plain and fruit flavours) - no skyr -, good selection of vegetables, small cheese selection. The hotel rooms are definitely dated but the size is very decent; you can open your cargo bags fully in a few areas. I like that the floors of the room aren't carpeted (at least for my room). Toilet size is generous but the shower area design is impractical - there is no door so the floor outside the shower section will definitely get wet. There are bedside sockets and lights. Window faces a rooftop (non-accessible) courtyard and other hotel room windows (you can see and maybe even talk to the people in the room facing your window I kept my window shaded and closed mostly). Staff were immensely helpful and friendly - I only regret not getting all their names to compliment them individually. The general facilities are a little older and dated. Location is pretty central (to the Aarhus Central Station (7 to 10 mins) and then a shortcut straight from the entrance of the hotel down to the shopping street (about 5 minutes). I would stay here again if required; it is centrally located and good enough."

"The receptionist was blonde and blue-eyed. There were light meals, tea, and meeting rooms on the first floor. Very thoughtful. We went to MASH steakhouse on the first floor, which had Japanese Wagyu, local beef, salmon, etc., suitable for large groups. The hotel location is excellent; it's right next to Burger King after the bus stop, which is the room's toilet. The bathroom was inconvenient; it reminded me of Hong Kong—no running water, which is very inconvenient. Breakfast is in the basement. If you're interested, you can try their elevator; it's old-fashioned but still in use, the kind where you need to open the door 😁 I suddenly noticed that their written language is as fluent as German."
