Eden Resort

Returned to Eden resort for the 5th time in April / May. At time of booking I contacted resort to see if possible we could be in villas we had previously been in and again they managed to accommodate us with this request, thank u so much for this ❤️. Anyone that's thinking of visiting this resort just book your holiday u won't be disappointed, amazing staff and service at all times. Cant wait to visit again for number 6. Just one slight issue I have since losing the Apple bar upstairs there is no adult bar where u can sit and chat or watch the football as the TV is now in the kids entertainment room. An adult bar to be able to do this would make this so much better for older families and couples. But please don't let this put u off this wonderful resort.

The layout of the resort is unusual. Apartment/villas are laid out around a large area, which can be driven around and there is loads of free parking outside each accommodation type. The reception area has a bar and restaurant included within it, which is a separate building to accommodation. The buildings are all painted in various pastel type colours making a very pretty resort. If you had one of the apartments at the far end of the resort, it’s still less than 10 mins walk to reception/restaurant/bar. We had an apartment with 2 double bedrooms and there was also a double sofa bed in the lounge, though we didn’t use that. The apartment was very spacious, clean and modern. It was cleaned daily, beds made daily and towels changed daily if needed. In the kitchen there was a large fridge freezer, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, lots of cutlery, knives etc. A nice touch would’ve been some washing up liquid. We didn’t make much use of the kitchen other than making some drinks as we were all inclusive. There was an en-suite bathroom and a separate main bathroom. However, there was only 1 hairdryer, which not ideally was in the main bathroom. So if there were 6 of you getting ready and several of you need a hairdryer, there could be a wait while you wait for people to finish in the bathroom. There was lots of hanging space in the main bedroom, only half the amount in the second bedroom as one half of the wardrobe was locked (possibly used for storage). There was no chest of drawers or dressing table in either bedroom, so there was no real surface space to put anything down on in the bedrooms. There were bedside tables, but they were small and low (basically one drawer with no legs). A silly point, but I really missed not having something to put things down on easily! Beds were comfortable. The main bedroom and lounge opened onto a patio area with a sun loungers and table and chairs. We went in March which was out of season. The all inclusive did get busy at times. I can’t imagine how it would cope in full season when at full capacity. Although we always found something to eat and never went hungry, I think that with such a well equipped kitchen in the apartment, if I went back to the resort, I’d go self catering. You certainly won’t be missing much with the all inclusive drinks. They were ok, but the cocktails were disappointing. The pool area looked nice, but we never used it as it wasn’t really hot enough when we were there. The pool bar was also closed when we were there. All the staff we came across were friendly and happy to help. Luckily we’d booked a hire car for the duration of our stay, which was we picked up in Albufeira. It’s only about €4 for their equivalent of an Uber into Albufeira. It would be quite a bit of a walk all along very busy roads, so could be a walked, but not the nicest walk and very busy roads. The resort is a bit outside of the main part of Albufeira, so if we hadn’t had a car, we’d have had to use

Wonderful Resort we have visited 4 times and gets better each year. Perfect for families with young children, the villas are very clean and spacious, food always beautiful and the snack bar is handy for the kids. The pools are perfect for our family and the kids area/pools keep our children busy. The staff make this place amazing, Victoria in Reservations always a pleasure to deal with when booking, the reception staff always so friendly, the restaurant/bar staff always so busy and work very hard and nothing is ever a problem and a big thank you to Vanessa and Cintia in the Entertainment/Kids club they make Eden a real fun place and our children adore them not forgetting Eddie the Turtle. Terrible management Lied about accommodation available Request two bed rather than two separate apartments with young kids Kids pull out beds not fresh and management felt that was alright as kids may not be sleeping in them??? Disappointed with manger lady Food average limited Otherwise general staff very good

We had a great family holiday, 3 adults and 1 toddler. 2 bed villa was very spacious and kept spotless. There were 3 pools, including one adult only which was perfect for us. We could always find something to eat in the restaurant and the snacks were great. We will be visiting again!

Well what to say...this is our 3rd time at Eden and while the staff are amazing and the plenty of options for food there was a couple of negatives that really showed this time around. Positives • the staff are amazing a few remembered myself, wife and daughter from last year which was really nice. • food and drink selection was outstanding as always • There has been improvements to the childrens area which my daughter loved. Negatives • We booked a room with a double bed and we got two singles pushed together which moved apart anytime we moved which ment not a restful night sleep • More variation on the night time entiernment is required I know there is a circus tent opening but that didn't benefit us. • The pools need a bit of tlc I noticed alot of missing tiles which could cause and issue. • The apartment while clean and very spacious needs a going over the towel rack was hanging off the wall. Would we come back again for a forth time.......yes but not for a couple of years to see if there has been any improvements for the price you pay.

Location, staff, cleanliness, food, entertainment, apartment all superb. We’re already looking to book for next year. The only thing I would say is maybe a pool table/ games room or some entertainment for older children. My 12 year old was a little bored in the evenings. Would highly recommend

My sister and I stayed for a week last week the hotel is a very good family hotel definately not for couples or teenagers but for children it’s spot on I think that the tour company and the hotel should get together and make an arrangement for an earlier check in for some early arrivals as most people have been on the go since the early hours and if you have children it must be really exhausting When we finally got our room we had been upgraded to a 2 bedroom apartment which made up for the four hour wait I have to say when we booked this I requested a lower ground apartment but was told they where all on the first level and if we wanted a lower one which are all two bedrooms we would have to pay an extra €391 we declined and left it like that You can imagine our surprise when we where asked for the money on check out we explained to the receptionist what had happened and he said they would write to us At no time was a lower room discussed at check in so their lovely gesture was losted left a bitter memory instead of a good one The food was a bit hit and miss I enjoyed it but my sister lived off pasta and chips Breakfast the best meal of the day for both of us I think they do a really good job in the kitchen they have to cater for all sorts We loved the adult pool it was so peaceful there Families are well catered for with two other pools the poor teenagers are well and truly forgotten about no pool table nothing The hotels shuttle bus service is excellent taxis are plentiful The snack bar is a great addition serving the usual pizza burgers chips sandwiches wraps etc we worked our way through the cocktail menu which was descent As I’ve said before we will not be returning but have no problem recommending the hotel to families so all in all Thank you just a shame about the surprise at the end

We stayed at Eden with a 6 year old and 2 year old twins and had the best holiday! The service was fantastic, absolutely everyone we came into contact with was friendly, helpful and cheery. Our 2-bed villa was huge with great outdoor space which meant that when the babies were sleeping we could still sit outside and enjoy the day. The food was lovely and varied in the restaurant and the fast food at the pool bar was also top quality and great for nibbles in the day or an early tea for kids. So many drinks on offer on the AI menu. The kids club is great for 4/5/6 year olds with lots of activities throughout the week. Outside the kids club is a little playground area with toys which was great for a break from the pool. Sometimes had a trampoline out too. The only potential downside was that the outside pool was very cold but the splash park was great fun and our kids also loved the option of the indoor pool. It's also not very close to the town so you have to travel to get to beach/bars etc. Evening entertainment was good especially the shows put on by the circus performers (fire show, kids show etc). An amazing holiday, thank you. We don't usually return to the same place but considering it with this one!
