"The new brand is Don Diego By H. So the hotel has been COMPLETELY renovated and has nothing to do with the current photos. It is magnificent, new and modern. The establishment has been tastefully renovated. Very spacious room with balcony and view of the very quiet public garden. Very appreciated toiletries and the possibility of drinking tea or coffee in the room. It is also possible to put food in the fridge. Very generous and unlimited breakfast. We will return as soon as possible."

"Αφού επισκέφτηκα το ξενοδοχείο το 2016 με τη σημαία του Iberostar, φθάσαμε όπως αναμενόταν να ενημερωθεί, μας επιβεβαίωσαν. Νιώθαμε ότι υπήρχαν πολλές πληροφορίες για να εισέλθουμε. Το δωμάτιο που επιλέξαμε ήταν ο προϋπολογισμός. Οι καταγγελίες που έχω είναι η ομάδα διασκέδασης. Η μουσική είναι πολύ δυνατή αν ακούτε μουσική με θόρυβο που ακυρώνει τα ακουστικά, ειδικά όταν κάνετε Zumba, το πλήθος είναι πολύ κοντά και εξακολουθούν να επιλέγουν να χρησιμοποιούν ένα μικρόφωνο, χωρίζουν τον χρόνο μας και μετακομίζουμε στο δωμάτιο. Η γυναίκα μου έχει προβλήματα κινητικότητας, εκείνη τη μέρα δεν μπορούσε να το κάνει κάτω από την παραλία, οι ηλιοθεραπευτές γύρω από την πισίνα φαινόταν να έχουν πετσέτες πάνω τους, αλλά κανείς δεν ήταν εκεί, είδα κάποιον να σπρώχνει το σημείωμα που είχε μείνει να πει να μην το κάνει. Για μένα, είναι δουλειά ενός διευθυντή να αφαιρεί τα πράγματα, μια άλλη μέρα είδα ανθρώπους να τα κρατούν, και μετά να πηγαίνεις κατευθείαν στην παραλία, προφανώς όταν δεν έχεις αρκετές ηλιακές σαλόνια. Τα τρόφιμα, η ποιότητα που πρέπει να πω, ήταν καλή, αλλά θα μπορούσατε να δώσετε μια μικρή επιλογή και να είστε περισσότερη περιπέτεια με τα επιτεύγματα σας, όπως σάλτσα κ.λπ., σε τρία συνεχή καθίσματα του ίδιου κρέατος. Μια κραυγή στον Μωάμεθ που καυχήθηκε για το έργο του και για να μάθει. Ένα άλλο πράγμα ήταν οι περιγραφές του φαγητού στα αγγλικά ήταν λάθος, ένα παράδειγμα και το έβαλα σε τεμπέλημα, ήταν ένα πιάτο που προσφέρθηκε στο εστιατόριο al carte, έτσι η ερμηνεία θα μπορούσε να χρησιμοποιηθεί, όχι πολλοί υπάλληλοι που μιλούν αγγλικά, Ευτυχώς, η Google Translation is a godsend, the staff are very friendly and do their best to understand, the English lady at the restaurant entrance is a credit to your hotel, friendly with everyone, always time for a little chat. So all in all a good stay"

"Nice hotel, good location, the food was good, but it could be some improvements (sometimes we need to wait to have eggs or grilled meat). The pool area was fantastic. The bar and services were great. The entertainment team was fantastic. From Gonçalo and José to the ladies the entire team. Their friendliness and good spirits were contagious. They made our stay a lot of fun and made us feel very welcome."

"12 golfers ,some had been before. PROs. Rooms large and well equipped, everything you would need and expect. All communal areas immaculate and room cleaners do a superb job. Staff very helpful although the breakfast staff could maybe manage a smile , it goes a long way. Alex in the outside bar/ restaurant was extremely helpful, despite being rushed off her feet in the afternoons. Golf course in good condition and also handy in relation to the hotel. Course was well marshalled with 18 holes taking around the four mark - excellent.Breakfast was good with the usual hot and cold options. CONS. Do not stay half board. Evening meal extremely disappointing. Gave it two nights to give it a chance but food was average at best. House wine was changed as it had “ ran out” on both nights- very strange. Ate in Ayamonte for the other five nights despite paying for half board accommodation. Some big drinkers in our party , but again on numerous occasions the bar “ran out” of spiced rum and Baileys - unforgivable in a hotel bar.The hot breakfast did not go down well with our group with the sausage and bacon described as below average."

"Whilst this hotel is in a beautiful location. Stunning scenery, find hotel food lacking especially in the evening can be crowded and bit of a bun fight. Difficult to catch attention to get a drink with meal. Lunch time meal excellent fresh salads etc. Room has a wonderful view. Staff I've encountered are all friendly and attentive. Only been here a day and they started closing pool bar at 08:00pm. Was nice relaxing atmosphere sitting there in the evening. Bar you can use now can get crowded and a little noisy. Not everyone wants that. Did enquire about upgrading to the level but wanted 600Euros no way. Been to the area 6 years ago but in September. If I'd known how quiet it was I wouldn't of booked for 11 nights. Other guests have said the same. Hardly anything open in the area. Couple bars on marina. Won't be rushing back to Hotel. Still have a week , definitely wouldn't have come for so long."

"we rented out an appartment here for a little less than a week. The town is small, so i would definitely recommend having a car in this area, unless you're fine with only staying at the pool and/or beach, and staying in the immediate area for food — the area is blocked off by waterways on all sides but you can take a ferry into Isla Cristina for a few more options (also small though) We took a day trip to Sevilla and Olhao portugal from here, which were very doable. The appartment itself was fine, nothing too special. The kitchen is small but has everything you need. Bathroom had a smell. sadly we didn't have nice neighbours, they were Brits who played loud football games and music all day, and they didn't listen to our requests to tone it down. The staff said they couldn't help us. We were also missing linnen for one of the beds. we went to the desk a few times in the afternoon before it was finally delivered around 21:00. The pool area is nice but it depends which part of the resort your rooms are in, which pool you can use. Since we were in the appartment area, we had one pool available. The hotel had 2 + a slide, and daily dances / music to entertain the children attending. We definitely preferred our side, but the sound from the other pools was present most of the day. There's many exts and entrances to go to the beach, it's only 5 mins away, which is great."

"In less than 24 hours they stole all the money we had in the apartment and still treated the dog in the apartment badly, we made a complaint at the reception and a complaint at the police and we asked to stay in possession of the second key. The responsible people have not helped to solve the problem, nor have they assumed any responsibility. There is a huge security failure in this place, any official has access to the second key and so anyone can enter the apartment whenever it wants, even without any reason."
