I like the location. My rooms view was beautiful. The only complain was the air condition was bad ans not to clean

Bad place, we a bad experience at this place
As soon as we walked in to the room a lizard right in from, i asked the reception to move us, she had the worst attitude, she said well you will see different little animals at this place. My kids asked if they could sleep in the car :( trough the night i felt an insect on me, i jumped and it was a big bug, it flew away,
The reception never gave us anything to sign at check in or out. The place is horrible.

Hotel is located on a beautiful spot overlooking Lake Bacalar. It is perfect for swimming and enjoying the view from the room. It looks like the hotel was built long time ago and never upgraded or renovated. Bathroom especially was in really bad condition. We checked in for two nights but checked out after staying one night.

The staff are super nice here. The rooms are basic but for the price that is no big deal. Yes there can be flies in the rooms but it's Mexico! This hotel was a little bit out of the main centre but taxis we're cheap in and out. The view was the main highlight of this hotel - beautiful!

staff was really nice and helpful. if it wasn't for the view of the lagoon, i would give it a lower score. the rooms need a lot and i mean a lot of renovations, things are falling apart. its very loud at night, you can hear every conversation the other occupants are having. the pool/restaurant is right in the middle of the property, so we got an early wake up call with the blender on full blast and all kinds of noise.

This is the most lousy hotel in Mexico! Terrible Service! The rooms are ugly and the staff very unfriendly. They lied at us, when we were asking, if there was WFI - there was no internet and they didn´t care about our complain. If there wouldn´t be the good sight, nobody would stay there. There are a lot of hotels in Bacalar, which are much better for the same price! Horrible place! Never ever again!

I tried to cancel my reservation after reading the reviews I am very happy I did not know there's no TV in the rooms no there's no phones in the room but there are are very comfortable beds the Wi-Fi worked great for me the 3 days I was there and The view is amazing also is able to take a boat tour for just 300 pesos and the food at the restaurant pretty good and very well priced I am very happy I chose this place

We have been staying in this no frills hotel for the past 30 years. Gorgeous views, nice pool, comfortable bed and very clean.
