"stayed here for 2 nights. very helpful ladies that owns it. They helped booked our tour on the lake. Clean rooms ond good breakfast. you can choose different every day. nice little pateo in the middle where have your breakfast. a little walk downtown but we found very nice restaurants just around the corner. Absolutly recommend to stay here."

"Overall, the hotel was nice and clean. Plus, the service stuff was friendly and open to any questions. The building is brand new, but our room lacked some functionality. Our suggestion would be to add some chairs, so people could put their bags, clothes, or use them on the balcony or with small table built in the wall. More hangers on the wall or a drying rack on the balcony would help, as we had no idea where to dry our towels and swimming suits. Also, having hair dryer would be nice, especially after days of swimming in the lagoon."

"A little oasis.. Azul 36 was just perfect, we loved our 3 night stay. Comfy bed, good shower, great Aircon, the pool is small but beautiful, check in was easy, breakfast was delicious and it’s a 5 min walk into town. We had a parking space but there’s plenty of on street parking too. It was our wedding anniversary when we arrived and my hubby had organised a bottle of fizz for us, which was cooling in an ice bucket, with two champagne flutes and even a rose. Just lovely."

"Μετά από λίγες μέρες στο Μεξικό Σίτυ στο ξενοδοχείο Τιέρα Μαία στο Μπακάλαρ. Ένα δώρο των γενεθλίων μιας ανιψιάς. Μερικές φορές αισθάνθηκα σε μια όαση. Τα δωμάτια είναι καθαρά, ευρύχωρα, ψυγείο, ασφαλές, ντους εξαιρετικό !!! Το πισινό είναι καθαρό, όμορφο. Πρέπει να περπατήσουμε στο κέντρο. Όχι πολύ τουριστικά, αλλά να πας μια βόλτα στο Λαγκούνα."

"This was our first time in Bacalar and always nervous about booking online but it lived up to the its description and more. Right on the lagoon with kayaks and paddle boards for free. nice swimming area. Good restaurants within walking distance. Staff friendly and easy to find. Best was breakfast served each morning on the balcony right outside our room. Will definitely come again."

"Light, friendly room. Calm and still in the centre.. Top terrace for everyone. The birds of the evening at darkness are a great natural experience. But the hit is that you get a Day Pass daily for Mayan Playa. Paradise on Earth. With Uber to about 65 Mex. With taxi return 100 Mex. you feel like on the Maldives❤️"

"Great location nice rooms but if you're in the manatee suite the WiFi is poor in the areas you lie or sit, ie the bed and sofa... Constantly drops out.... However stand anywhere else in the room the connection is excellent, that needs sorting out"

"The rooms are nice and comfortable, but they lack storage space for your belongings. The included breakfast doesn't even offer a sauce. For the price, I think there are much better options. The customer isn't a priority. It's a shame for such a beautiful place, and they could improve it with minimal investment."
