"This hotel is great! I saw a lot of Chinese guests staying here. The room was clean and tidy, and the restaurant staff were very friendly during the two breakfasts I had. The hotel is located right by the highway, with a bus stop outside that goes directly to Venice's main island and the airport/train station. It's perfect for travelers who need to catch a flight the next day or are just arriving in Venice and want to rest for a night. The only downside is that the cleaning staff were very loud in the mornings while cleaning the rooms and in the hallway. I was woken up at the same time both days, which was a bit annoying."

"The hotel is newly opened this year; the rooms are new and clean, and each has a balcony with plenty of natural light. Drinking water and slippers are provided in the rooms, which is quite unusual in European hotels; most don't offer these. The owner is Chinese and incredibly hospitable. The Sichuan restaurant next door is part of the same business as the hotel, and the food is excellent. I ate there during my stay; it was very affordable, and the owner even gave me a discount. On my last day, my train was at 5 PM, and after dinner, the owner told me to just wait in the restaurant and even gave me a complimentary coffee. It was truly incredibly kind and touching. The hotel's location is superb, just 30 meters from the train station. Staying on the mainland is definitely the best option when traveling to Venice, as the island is not only more expensive but also has older buildings. Furthermore, a Venice pass includes round-trip train tickets between the mainland and the main island. Overall, this hotel is truly excellent, especially for Chinese tourists; it's like being at home!"

"There is air conditioning. You can go to the front desk to ask for a remote control. Disposable slippers are also provided free of charge. There is a disposable shower gel shampoo and soap in the room. The uncle at the front desk looks very kind. But the room style is very depressed and old. I don't like it. I need to pay attention to 🥺 and I opened the bed and found that there was a huge shoe print on my sheets. . . . . But I was too tired and I lay down and slept."

"My flight was in the morning from MXP, so I left the hotel at 4 am. I asked the front desk at least 5 times about where is the ferry station and time table, which Lorenzo gave me very accurate answer and printed out the time table, indicated the station on map for me. However, the station that he gave me was wrong( I arrived 10 mins in advance ) so I missed the ferry at 4:21….there was absolutely no one in anywhere near the station so I desperately rushed back with my luggages to the hotel, where there is an older guy in the front desk said it’s the next station after the one Lorenzo gave me, which means one more bridge. Yet, I did ask this older guy before I left the hotel at 4 and he was very sure. When the second time i doubted him he said “ you can wherever u like lady!” There was no empathy, as if it’s none of their business! Second time I rushed to the correct station n took the ferry at 4:55 and I missed the train to Milan! Buying another italo ticket wasn’t a problem but it’s about life and limb! I’m just hoping the front desk could be more professional n check really carefully when they give suggestion. I would definitely miss my flight if there was no Italo fast train, plus I took taxi right after I arrived Milano centrale to make it! Room was small couldnt open big luggage but it was clean, the cleaning lady deserved a big tip! I like they provide water and slippers. The view from my room is authentic. The hotel is convenient if u r around San Marco square or you always have to go to bathroom. If u r taking night ferry to Santa Lucia Train station Ferrovia, remember is on the right END station from San Marco, it’s another bridge u have to cross."

"We arrived at the hotel on January 12th at 10:30 PM. The room was absolutely amazing and split over two levels. On the ground floor there was a bathroom and a separate shower. Everything was very beautiful, clean, and in perfect working condition. The shower did not leak at all, and there were no unpleasant smells. On the upper floor there was a bedroom with a large bed and an additional sofa. The room was equipped with a large Smart TV, a spacious wardrobe, a safe, and a hairdryer. We were also provided with two 0.5 L bottles of water. There was both a heater and air conditioning, and everything worked perfectly, so it was not cold at all. The location is excellent. It may look a bit confusing on the map at first, but we figured it out quickly. When you see the shop “Ca’ Macana Atelier”, turn immediately to the right. You will see an old public telephone, and between the buildings there is the hotel entrance (the hotel name is written on the door). All access codes worked without any problems. The interior of the hotel is very beautiful. The owner is a very kind and welcoming lady truly wonderful. She speaks English and cleans the rooms daily. If you prefer not to have your room cleaned, you can simply inform her or hang the sign on the door. The tourist tax is €3 per person per day. We absolutely loved everything. Out of all the places we have stayed in (priced between €20 and €60 per night), this hotel and room are without a doubt our number one favorite. Thank you so much. If we ever return to Venice, we will definitely stay here again. ❤️"

"I stayed here for 1 night, in a single room, and I was lucky enough to get a room with a balcony. The interiors have an antique feel to them, with parquet and painted wardrobe. The breakfast standard was also very high, with a wide selection of bread, cake, cheese, ham, and fruit, and the service was also very good. However, since it was my first time in Venice, I didn't know that taxis couldn't go directly to the hotel, so I walked 1.2 kilometers with my luggage up and across the bridge, which was very tiring. I knew I could take a boat when I left, so everyone should plan well.

However, the hotel's location is absolutely superb, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the city. Having breakfast outdoors right by the Grand Canal offered truly fantastic views. A minor point: there was no complimentary bottled water in the room, which might be an unexpected oversight for Chinese guests accustomed to this amenity in hotels. That said, the primary reason we chose this hotel was its convenient location for sightseeing, so these other issues were secondary.

I drove here and asked the hotel to arrange parking service, pick up and drop off from the parking lot to the hotel. The trip was good, but the price was expensive. When I left, the hotel did not explain clearly that the parking fee was not included in the 220 euro price! The ”taxi boat” was also borne by the guests. I was a little disappointed when I left. I paid a high price, but I felt that the hotel took advantage of it... Of course, everything in Venice is expensive, but I think the hotel can provide better service! Overall, there is room for improvement! Next time I go to Venice, I will change to another hotel!

The hotel's location is excellent, within walking distance of Santa Lucia train station. The front desk staff were very friendly and service-oriented. The breakfast was just okay, nothing special. Now for some downsides. First, and this might be a common issue for hotels on the island of Venice (just my guess), the interior layout was quite convoluted, requiring switches between two elevators. Second, the air freshener scent in the room was quite strong.

Although it's rated as a three-star property, keep in mind that it’s three stars in Venice—which is definitely not the same as a three-star elsewhere. The charm and quality here exceeded our expectations. You won’t find a lot of reviews about this hotel, but I did come across a YouTube vlog by a mother who shared her family stay here. She said it was a really good choice—and she turned out to be absolutely right! We booked a Prestige Room with Canal View and specifically requested Room 101, which we saw on TikTok or YouTube (can't recall exactly where). The photos already impressed us, but the reality was even better. The ceiling was much higher than expected, which gave the room a beautiful, airy feel. The hotel still shows older pictures online, with an outdated TV, but we were happy to find a newer TV already installed. The amenities were excellent—truly some of the best I’ve experienced in a hotel of this category. Breakfast was on the smaller side, but absolutely sufficient. The cakes and pastries were quite decent, and having them in such a beautiful, old-style interior made it feel like we were stepping back in time—in the best way possible. A huge shoutout to the staff, who were all genuinely kind and accommodating. We felt their hospitality in even the smallest gestures, and it was very much appreciated. Lastly, the location is unbeatable—just a short walk from the Rialto Bridge, close to everything. Being so near the heart of Venice made it easy to go out and explore, then return to rest and recharge. It's also conveniently close to shopping areas, which is a nice bonus. All in all, this hotel was a hidden gem. If you're looking for a stay that combines charm, comfort, location, and authentic Venetian vibes, this is a fantastic choice. That mother on YouTube was right—it really is a great choice!

The kitchen has an oven and washing machine, which is very convenient for long-term trips. The staff were very kind and we were able to check in smoothly. Venice isn't that large, so you can basically get to the tourist spots on foot. It's also about 3 minutes from the Rialto Bridge, so it was perfect for using the water bus!

SSuzyyyWe love the hotel room, it’s so spacious, clean and beautiful 😍 However, the location is not the best, it’s 18 minutes walk from the train station and still have to take another train ( 2 stops) to Venice. Initially we thought the hotel will provide free shuttle service, but we were only told that our package is not included with the shuttle service and need to pay 20 euro per person for one way in order to use the shuttle service. This is a very small villa and I think they are short of staff to work? There’s only one receptionist when we first arrived, and when he directed us to the wrong room, he tapped the door and someone was inside??? He later then told us it’s a wrong room. When we came back at night, there are no receptionist at the counter ( we waited for 5-10 mins and rang the counter bell). We were so surprised that the cleaner that cleaned our room did not top up water for us, and didn’t even replace new glasses/ wash our glasses? The used glasses were remained on the same spots. Overall I think we mainly enjoyed the room, but mainly not there for service or if you need to travel out to Venice.

It takes 17-20 minutes to walk from Lido S.M.E Station. If you have a lot of luggage, such as (2 pieces/more than 2 pieces), it is recommended to call a car directly. It is quite tiring to walk and push the suitcase. The hotel room I was given this time was very large, enough for 4 people~ I booked a double bed room for 1-2 people online (at that time, a friend was still waiting to decide whether to join)~ In the end, my friend was not able to join~ But the room the hotel gave me had 3 beds (1 double bed + 2 single beds) which was a bit unexpected~ It is more suitable for family travel. The hotel environment is very good~ Facing the sea and spring flowers blooming. There is a courtyard, lawn and chairs at the door of the room for rest ~ a strong seaside villa holiday style ~ Hotel facilities: Although the room is large: But I didn't see any slippers. Of course, you have to get water from the minibar ~ and of course you have to buy it yourself ~ This is similar in European hotels. It's within the expected situation. For breakfast - the overall difference between hotels in Europe with a price range of 1-1.5k/night is not big: mainly Western style - bread, milk, juice, eggs, ham, cheese, coffee... However, there is no free shuttle for guests without their own transportation, so we had to walk 20 minutes to the bus station and then wait another 20 minutes for a bus to reach Venice center. This was misleading considering the amenities listed. We paid around 60 euros for a 2-day, 2-night stay. Despite this, we still enjoyed our stay overall.

Staff could have explained some elements in the room better. The room itself was disappointing. Very old fashioned and in need of major decoration. The first night only a sheet was provided and we were cold and did not sleep well. This was rectified for the second night. Our room faced a courtyard and was quiet, but quite dark. Overall disappointing for the price
