Brought my family to hard rock hotel desaru to stay from new year's eve to cross into the new year. First time staying here and we are very happy with the overall experience. Coffee at constant grind cafe is also good. Direct access to the waterpark was very convenient for us and the kids. One good situation that I experienced was there was a very heavy downpour during one of the evening and my car was parked at the lower ground and water level was rising. The hotel guest services manager attempted to reach me via call and whatsapp to ensure they pass me the message to shift my car to upper ground. I would compliment him. Definitely recommend this hotel!

Beautiful place, both the pools were great and they had enough activities to keep kids busy. Room was excellent with comfy and clean sheets/towels. Personally enjoyed the bicycle rides and walks within the resort. Buffet spread was good and in room dining was good too. Will visit again

staff very respectful towards us especially the staff at guardhouse. room was spacious, comfy and clean. breakfast was great (7/10) because very few choice of drinks otherwise foods is delicious. then the beach view from the breakfast place (10/10).

The environment is perfect for those willing to healing. The staff is very friendly, our check in process was smooth without need to wait. The room is comfortable and the swimming pool is great for my kids. The hotel near Yard&Co cafe, so you will have too go! 🤭🤭 However there is something to highlight here, the bedsheet and pillow cover have bad smell, not so sure its already change new one or not. Also the walkway, mybe your side can improve to avoid slippery walkway.

Year end means holiday time for my little family. Arrived here quite early in the afternoon. Being promised that once the room is ready, the receptionist on duty will then give us a call, yet do assume that due to other urgent commitment and / or poor telecommunication coverage, it was no avail. (Disclaimer : my spouse got SMS informing that Maxis coverage will be temporarily affected at the current location, yet I never get one, although utilizing the very same provider) Just trying our luck to check in an hour early from prescribed time and viola! our room was readied accordingly. Room was adequately kept, small stains detected at the duvet, bidet sprayer malfunctioned. Not to be so fussy, we do embraced the imperfect condition accordingly. The room allocated to us in which purposely selected for sea view was nice. The hotel do situated not too far from other establishment. there is a residential area situated approximately 2km from the hotel, namely Taman Bayu Damai, in which do contained shophouses and basic necessity, if need do arise. Yet we did getting our daily doses of foods and other necessity down towards the south, in which nearer to Sungai Rengit. The foods readied at the hotel (in our case breakfast) were less then adequate in quality, but got nothing to complained about. Due to the time we have, we did embarked on sight seeing walkabout at the premises. Some of the attractions were abandoned, might be due to the ill effect of continuous MCO enforcement for the past 2 years. The beach was nice, but due to the timing of Monsoon, it will be not advisable to dwell into usual sea and beach activities too much. My two boys enjoyed their time playing with the sands, with much cautionary steps undertaken. Hopefully, as per my title of this review, time will heal this establishment, thus will be then enable them to offer their best package to prospectus guest.

Hygiene wise, the pillows, blankets, sofas and beds quite dusty and cannot be compared to hotel standard as the pillows inside the casing are yellowish. No drinking water provided but for the price, no complains

We booked the resort for our honeymoon. Requested for a honeymoon decoration for our room and was not disappointed by it. We received a corner seaview room which has a bit more privacy. Buffet breakfast has a variety of choices. Spent most of the time relaxing by the bar facing the sea. Staff was very friendly. Only downside was the aircon wasn’t strong at times.

Overall it was not a happy experience. First day check in we ended up waiting for 1hr to get our room. Room was ok just some stain here and there. Out of 3 towel only 1 was clean. Other 2 have stain and even the bed. Is not a obvious stain so will still ok with it until bathing time, each time someone bathe the water pipe seem to be blocked, Doesn’t flow properly. Breakfast buffet was rather disappointing, option to choose was range but flavour not very nice. Me and my friends felt only the harsh brown & nugget is nice. Remaining soso only. Gotten more disappointed when we go back hotel room and the card sensor wasn’t working. The front counter ask someone to help us check and he said the sensor spoil need install a new wan but they didnt do it after we left but when we still in the room. Felt that the service this time wasnt as what the review said might be cos the hotel was fully booked. (Could be cos holiday) but still felt a rather disappointing trip.

Unlike what Agoda had called it, This is not a resort. It is more a serviced apartment. Had we known this, we would have appreciated the suite, quiet beach, the minimart or the lonely pool and even the slow wifi. But we were looking for a resort, with choice of food and running amenities…we were in Desaru for 3 days with family visiting us. We checked in and the reception refused to give more than one key when the suite had occupancy for 4. She did though after talking to her manager. We requested the kind hearted lady at the cafe to please arrange for some food when she said that she couldn’t because buffet food was getting served for a teachers’ conference. Finally she agreed and the food came fast. Choice was sparing but it was fast. But they didn’t accept credit cards and we spend most of our money we changed with money changer to pay them. That was it. We got in the car immediately after lunch and checked in to another resort. Now lying on their beach chair by the ocean and writing the review. We discussed, perhaps we need to reconsider using Agoda also.

My first time staying at the Westin. Quite alot of people staying there thus we wasn’t able to get an early check in. However the service provided was great . We were given a corner room and the staff even decorated the room and gave us complimentary cake and chocolate. The room itself was big and clean. Breakfast was included and was quite surprised their selections as it had variety of food. There are a few dinning places to eat and the food was not bad. Will come back again when then price is right.

We booked the resort for our honeymoon. Requested for a honeymoon decoration for our room and was not disappointed by it. We received a corner seaview room which has a bit more privacy. Buffet breakfast has a variety of choices. Spent most of the time relaxing by the bar facing the sea. Staff was very friendly. Only downside was the aircon wasn’t strong at times.

Very good resort for family with kids, the water theme park is very popular. I was allocated with a room at ground floor, surprised that it's still vety quiet for me to enjoyed a good sleep. The staffs here are very polite and everyone with smile. Although its facilities looks a bit run down but cleanliness is good. Will be back again.

Brought my family to hard rock hotel desaru to stay from new year's eve to cross into the new year. First time staying here and we are very happy with the overall experience. Coffee at constant grind cafe is also good. Direct access to the waterpark was very convenient for us and the kids. One good situation that I experienced was there was a very heavy downpour during one of the evening and my car was parked at the lower ground and water level was rising. The hotel guest services manager attempted to reach me via call and whatsapp to ensure they pass me the message to shift my car to upper ground. I would compliment him. Definitely recommend this hotel!

My first time staying at the Westin. Quite alot of people staying there thus we wasn’t able to get an early check in. However the service provided was great . We were given a corner room and the staff even decorated the room and gave us complimentary cake and chocolate. The room itself was big and clean. Breakfast was included and was quite surprised their selections as it had variety of food. There are a few dinning places to eat and the food was not bad. Will come back again when then price is right.

Beautiful place, both the pools were great and they had enough activities to keep kids busy. Room was excellent with comfy and clean sheets/towels. Personally enjoyed the bicycle rides and walks within the resort. Buffet spread was good and in room dining was good too. Will visit again

Overall it was not a happy experience. First day check in we ended up waiting for 1hr to get our room. Room was ok just some stain here and there. Out of 3 towel only 1 was clean. Other 2 have stain and even the bed. Is not a obvious stain so will still ok with it until bathing time, each time someone bathe the water pipe seem to be blocked, Doesn’t flow properly. Breakfast buffet was rather disappointing, option to choose was range but flavour not very nice. Me and my friends felt only the harsh brown & nugget is nice. Remaining soso only. Gotten more disappointed when we go back hotel room and the card sensor wasn’t working. The front counter ask someone to help us check and he said the sensor spoil need install a new wan but they didnt do it after we left but when we still in the room. Felt that the service this time wasnt as what the review said might be cos the hotel was fully booked. (Could be cos holiday) but still felt a rather disappointing trip.

Awesome place ! Super private place for relax and I really enjoyed my staycation. I went with hubby and baby. They provided free kids meal for my baby as well while we ordered in room dining. All their staff very friendly and helpful. They always try to meet all my request and also prepared birthday amenities for my birthday celebration. Definitely will visit again!

Year end means holiday time for my little family. Arrived here quite early in the afternoon. Being promised that once the room is ready, the receptionist on duty will then give us a call, yet do assume that due to other urgent commitment and / or poor telecommunication coverage, it was no avail. (Disclaimer : my spouse got SMS informing that Maxis coverage will be temporarily affected at the current location, yet I never get one, although utilizing the very same provider) Just trying our luck to check in an hour early from prescribed time and viola! our room was readied accordingly. Room was adequately kept, small stains detected at the duvet, bidet sprayer malfunctioned. Not to be so fussy, we do embraced the imperfect condition accordingly. The room allocated to us in which purposely selected for sea view was nice. The hotel do situated not too far from other establishment. there is a residential area situated approximately 2km from the hotel, namely Taman Bayu Damai, in which do contained shophouses and basic necessity, if need do arise. Yet we did getting our daily doses of foods and other necessity down towards the south, in which nearer to Sungai Rengit. The foods readied at the hotel (in our case breakfast) were less then adequate in quality, but got nothing to complained about. Due to the time we have, we did embarked on sight seeing walkabout at the premises. Some of the attractions were abandoned, might be due to the ill effect of continuous MCO enforcement for the past 2 years. The beach was nice, but due to the timing of Monsoon, it will be not advisable to dwell into usual sea and beach activities too much. My two boys enjoyed their time playing with the sands, with much cautionary steps undertaken. Hopefully, as per my title of this review, time will heal this establishment, thus will be then enable them to offer their best package to prospectus guest.

The environment is perfect for those willing to healing. The staff is very friendly, our check in process was smooth without need to wait. The room is comfortable and the swimming pool is great for my kids. The hotel near Yard&Co cafe, so you will have too go! 🤭🤭 However there is something to highlight here, the bedsheet and pillow cover have bad smell, not so sure its already change new one or not. Also the walkway, mybe your side can improve to avoid slippery walkway.
