"There are several B&Bs in Diaoyuan Ancient Village. The rooms at Shili Fangfei are renovated from old village houses. They lack views and lack good lighting, with windows overlooking the village alleyways, making them ideal for those who appreciate a more quaint atmosphere. However, the accommodation was exceptionally comfortable. The buildings are all reminiscent of old times, and the second-floor view is stunning. Our room had a balcony overlooking the garden, an ancient camphor tree, and a living room. The bathroom had a smart toilet and heated clothes drying rack, which was very practical! The amenities were atelier cologne, a brand typically found in luxury hotels! The rooms all had double-glazed windows, making them very quiet. We slept well every day during our six-day stay. Breakfast is available on a la carte when it's less crowded, and it's nutritious and delicious. The Chinese restaurant's food is delicious and not too greasy, which is rare! The ancient village is large and quiet, with pastoral scenery complemented by the camphor trees. The sunsets are absolutely stunning! The staff, especially Nico Xiaopan, were extremely professional, attentive, patient, and kind! The lady in the dining room was also very attentive!
