"This stay was at the Intercity Hotel Futian Huanggang in Shenzhen. The room was comfortable, with a separate wet and dry area in the bathroom, and the Huazhu TV cast screen feature was very convenient. The bed was just the right balance of soft and firm. The hotel service was excellent; the staff were friendly and promptly offered water upon arrival. The mini-fridge was stocked with Coke and dark beer, and the delivery robots for room service and takeout were efficient. Overall, it offered great value for money and a very good hotel experience. The breakfast selection was extensive, with plenty of cold dishes and a wide variety of hot food. I'd say it's among the best for this type of hotel, and I definitely enjoyed a hearty meal. The location is very convenient, situated in the central Futian area, close to the subway and train station, making it ideal for business travelers. It's also a good choice for tourists visiting Shenzhen, as most places are accessible by subway."

"This place is in a fantastic location, super close to Luohu Dongmen, making shopping and dining incredibly convenient. Being on a high floor, the view from the window is bright and open, and the room itself is spacious, so it never feels cramped. Everything inside is spotlessly clean, and all the facilities work perfectly. The staff are warm and efficient, and they even offer free shuttle service to and from Luohu Port, which makes staying here so hassle-free and comfortable. I truly recommend it!"

"This was another stay, and as always, the hotel delivered. Jossce from Guest Relations continues to impress with her thoughtful and attentive service. She took the initiative to understand my preferences beforehand and arranged a high-floor, east-facing room for me, ensuring expansive views and the perfect sunrise. The room was spotless, clean, and well-laid out. The most delightful feature, however, was the panoramic floor-to-ceiling window. Waking up to the morning sun gently filling the room, watching the city come alive at dawn, created such a peaceful and hopeful scene. It truly delivered on the ideal experience of 'sleeping with a view and waking up to the sunrise.' The hotel's location is a huge plus; it's within walking distance of the Exhibition Center and Joy City, making business trips incredibly efficient and convenient. An even bigger surprise was discovering Link City, a fantastic underground shopping street with dining, shopping, and entertainment, directly accessible from the metro station entrance right outside the hotel. It seamlessly connects to Huangting Plaza, Link City Center, and the Exhibition Center, offering everything you could want for food, fun, and leisure – highly recommended! Overall, it's excellent value for money. Whether for business or a short getaway, this is the perfect choice. I'll definitely be back."

"Came with a friend and we were so happy with the twin room we booked! The two beds were spaced perfectly, making it easy to chat without disturbing each other. The room was bigger than we expected; we could open both our suitcases with plenty of space left over, which saved us so much time. The location is right in the heart of the commercial district – downstairs there are bubble tea shops and trendy restaurants, so we weren't worried about coming back late even after shopping until 11 PM. The front desk staff even recommended a night market frequented by locals, and we had an amazing time eating there. We had such a comfortable stay and a great time playing around. We'll definitely choose this hotel again for our next trip!"

As a group traveling together, our top priority was the location of the accommodation, and this hotel's spot perfectly matched our itinerary of eating, shopping, and sightseeing. A short walk from the hotel takes you directly to various popular food streets, brimming with Cantonese dim sum, authentic Chaoshan snacks, and unique local eateries. We didn't need to bother with taxis; we could just stroll around, checking off one spot after another. If we got tired during the day, we could easily return to the hotel for a rest. Getting to popular landmarks was also incredibly convenient, with easy public transport options to Luohu's key spots and established commercial districts. Planning a short day trip was very flexible, and even changing our route last minute wasn't an issue due to travel distance. When traveling with friends, most of our leisure time was spent in the room. After a day of exploring the city, we'd return in the evening, gather around, share photos from the day, chat about interesting things we'd encountered, and munch on snacks and local specialties we'd bought. The spacious living area meant that multiple people could stay together without feeling cramped, allowing us to chat freely and cast aside the worries accumulated from our busy work lives. On occasions when we didn't feel like going out to eat, the hotel's surrounding commercial area offered everything from fresh produce to snacks and drinks. It was easy to buy ingredients for a simple get-together, creating a cozy late-night snack session with friends right in our room, which really boosted the atmosphere. The hotel's recreational and entertainment areas were perfect for friend gatherings. In between sightseeing, we'd find time to meet up in the hotel's lounge areas for a drink and a chat. There was a wide variety of drinks and exquisite pastries to choose from. Amidst the relaxed ambiance, we'd gossip and plan our next activities, slowing down the pace of our trip. It happened to be one of my friend's birthdays, and we just mentioned it in passing, but we unexpectedly received a small, heartwarming treat. This sudden gesture of thoughtfulness added an unexpected surprise to our entire journey, becoming an unforgettable highlight of the trip. From a cost perspective, the hotel's pricing perfectly aligned with our group's budget. Divided among several people, it offered outstanding value for money. We didn't have to over-compromise on sightseeing or food expenses to cover accommodation, allowing us to fully enjoy Shenzhen's diverse array of eating, drinking, and entertainment. After the trip ended, all my friends unanimously agreed that the next time we visit Shenzhen, the Renaissance Shenzhen Luohu will still be our top choice for accommodation, whether it's a short weekend getaway or an extended, in-depth exploration of the city, it's an excellent choice for group travel."

The front desk efficiently handled my check-in with politeness, and the concierge proactively offered to help with my luggage. Room service was prompt and meticulous. The turndown service even included a special bookmark, which really showed attention to detail. The staff were responsive and enthusiastic, making me feel very welcome. As a hotel that's been open for over thirty years, the facilities do show their age a bit. The bathroom design felt dated, and some room types didn't have a separate shower and bath, meaning I had to shower in the tub, which wasn't the most efficient use of space. The soundproofing was decent; I occasionally heard minor noises from the hallway, but it didn't disrupt my rest overall."
