"A beautiful estate and so much to explore nearby. It's quite close to Windsor center and only a few min drive away from Windsor Castle. The layout of the hotel was a bit confusing at first because the main hotel reception is a little hidden, but easy enough to find after one or two attempts! The room is reasonably spacious for two and fairly clean. I only wish there was a fridge! One of our curtains fell on the second day of our stay. We were out when it happened and found it fallen when we got back. We went to reception to let them know (this was around 1pm) and they said they'll send someone over to take a look. We waited in our room until 6pm, called reception again, and no one came. We went down to reception the next day to inquire again and were told that maintenance had left for the evening, but that they will be sent to our room straightaway the next morning. We went out the next morning, came back, and found the curtain completely removed!! No replacement. We asked reception if someone was going to come replace the curtain and they basically said they couldn't fix it at this point, and that they could change us to a twin bed room (we were originally in a double) that was much, much smaller. Not the kind of situation I would expect from a hotel that flaunts its customer service. We also asked for room service on all three nights and not once were our bedsheets/duvet changed (we had an orange juice stain in the middle of our bed that was still there every day). Overall the location is great and the hotel is super aesthetic, but we didn't like the fact we had to stay in a curtain-less room for 2 nights with no compensation or alternative (and had to chase them to even do something about the fallen curtain)."

"OMG, what can I say about this hotel? The hotel is beautiful, but the room is so small. Two people are fighting each other even if they turn around, and the luggage cannot be opened. There are two chairs, but there is no room for legs. No more, the bathroom is even smaller. Well, I went to live in a servant's room in a large manor. After staying for two nights, there was no cleaning service, towels were not changed, and there was no mineral water. The problem with all these hotels in the UK is that they have to set a specific time for breakfast, which is troublesome. The breakfast environment is very beautiful and quaint, but there are actually very few breakfast varieties. It’s nothing more than a continental breakfast or Bank Dick eggs or Spanish omelette or something like that"

"Pros: Excellent location, right opposite the castle with a shopping street right outside the door. Cons: 1) The room had a musty smell. 2) The cleanliness was terrible. Service: 3) One staff member was very good, but the others we encountered later were not. They didn't even show us to our room. Our room was in an annex building, and they didn't explain that clearly, so we had to drag our luggage around looking for it for a long time. I was so close to losing my temper. Overall, it's very old, not very clean, and not a premium experience."

"The hotel was great! The staff were warm and attentive, and the room was clean, hygienic, and comfortable. There's also a paid underground parking garage available. It's not far to walk to Windsor Castle from here. I'll definitely be back next time!"

"The hotel is nice and lovely. Location is decent and near parks. Service could be better, didn’t really feel the presence of the staff, very standard service - I only put 4 stars because of the person who offered to drive us around the property in the buggy, sorry forgot his name but he was originally from Hong Kong. Rooms were nice and clean, the spa amenities were also nice and there’s an indoor pool that kids can use on specific times. The kids activities were also nice? They had something prepared everyday and the petting farm was my daughters favorite as you can pet and brush and feed horses, donkeys, ducks, goats, rabbits etc."

"The Staff of this Travel lodge are very helpful indeed. All go out of their way to help. When we arrived, Sanjay helped us with car parking and stored luggage for us while we sorted it out. We were given items we asked for when the cleaner forgot to leave them in our room. The breakfast staff were extremely pleasant and helpful at all times. The hotel is in an excellent location and is quiet at night."

"Breakfast is the most wonderful thing. Only a few items are picked up at the bar. Others need to be ordered. There are only one or two waiters. "The best hotel in the UK tour left me a very good first impression of Windsor. The location is right next to the riverside station and it is very convenient to come from London. The breakfast content itself is still mainly English breakfast, but the content is richer than the hotel I stayed in London, with more traditional blood pudding and fried mushrooms. Outside the meal, the window of the breakfast restaurant is facing the Thames. It feels very good to enjoy the beauty of the Thames while dining in the morning. It is a rare breakfast experience outside Japan that I am worth mentioning. Overall, this is a hotel that is very suitable for a leisurely two-day stay in Windsor, and it is also very suitable as a stronghold for western England attractions, and the experience is much better than the London hotel with the same price."
