"We booked a deluxe premier room and requested anniversary decorations. To our surprise, upon entering the room, there were decorations and a cake, exactly as requested (not all hotels accommodate requests like this in our experience). There are many facilities for children, including kids' activities. It's perfect for a family staycation, and there are many good restaurants in the area around the hotel too. "Luckily, we got a room with a great view, 1115. We extended our stay for a second day in the same room. However, for two days, the breakfast menu wasn't very varied. The same dishes were repeated, just with different seasonings, which was a bit disappointing 😔. The pool and kids' play area weren't very complete, so we had to go to the mall instead."

"We stayed 4 nights as a family with two children. Overall: an excellent family resort with genuinely outstanding staff — the friendliness was consistent everywhere we went, from check-in to restaurants to the spa, across the entire stay. Check-in & room: Check-in was long but handled in a friendly manner. Executive Suite 7501 is very spacious with a large bathroom and a very large balcony. Ideal layout for a family of four. Pools: Very large swimming pools with separate areas for kids and adults — this separation worked well for us. Damar Restaurant: We ate here for the Saturday ”Surf & Sear Live Robata Night” and daily breakfast. The dinner buffet is the widest I have seen in a hotel — huge variety, delicious and freshly cooked, in a cozy atmosphere with very attentive staff who helped us in every way. Kids ate free at the themed night (printed on the bill), drinks were included in the buffet price (iced tea, cold brew, iced latte, ginger fizz), and the ALL Accor membership 10% F&B discount was honored. One honest caveat: the advertised live robata grilling counter was absent our night because the restaurant was hosting a wedding, so it was effectively buffet-only and busy — if you're booking specifically for the live-grill experience, confirm no private event is scheduled. Breakfast (also at Damar): wide variety, same friendly staff, but very crowded on Sunday morning — noticeably calmer on weekdays. The resort clearly runs at full capacity on weekends with the Jakarta crowd. Mad Cow (steakhouse, Level 6): Quiet, relaxed atmosphere on our Sunday visit. Steaks are grilled on an open station, staff were very friendly and helped us choose. Fresh juices were good. Note it's a premium-priced venue — imported Australian 450g cuts at steakhouse prices — and alcohol-free per local regulations (mocktails and juices only). Spa: Very clean and relaxing. We took two treatments — a 90-minute Traditional Balinese massage and a 60-minute Deep Tissue — both excellent. Padi Pool & Bar: Good mocktail selection for a pool day. Practical notes: the resort suits families exceptionally well; GrabFood delivers to the lobby if you want variety; folio can be pre-settled the evening before an early checkout, which made our 06:30 departure effortless; roughly 2 hours from CGK airport (use the Kunciran toll route to avoid Jakarta traffic). Verdict: The staff make this resort — every single venue, every single day. We'd return."

"This is a great hotel with excellent value for money. It was also fun being able to ride ATVs! I rode around for about an hour and really enjoyed it. The service was also very good."

"The rooms are fine, clean, and offer great views of the pool, Mount Salak, and city lights from rooms 901-915. For a direct view of the middle of the pool, room 904 is ideal, but for a wider panoramic view when the hotel is full, rooms 905-912 are better. The kids' play area currently only has a slide and a swing; it would be great if more options could be added. For the buffet, children aged 7-10 pay 90k, while those over 10 are charged 180k, the same as adults. It's a bit disappointing that for that price, the menu variety is still quite limited. The parking lot is spacious. This place is still new, and the service is good, friendly, and efficient."

"Stay here because of late night ride from far away city and arrived at 00.00. The picture from Google and on this website shows a modern room. However the reality, turn out to be a gloomy room. An Old building like it is poorly maintained. It is just belom the average or not as described in picture. I couldn't sleep in this room 216, because of many Ghost disturbance and not comfortable Please take care of your place, make it like it shows in picture! Breakfast is just so so. Won't come back to this hotel. In the yard, there are also some old weird statues and religius statues. Do not like symbol of hourglass in the room."

"We had a wonderful family stay at Novotel Bogor! The 32m² room was spacious, comfortable, and perfect for traveling with kids. The AC was nice and cold, making the room extra cozy after a day of activities. The hotel is truly family-oriented, with plenty to keep the kids entertained—movie room, PS4 game room, playground, free horse riding, and even animal feeding. Our kids never ran out of things to do! Breakfast was excellent with a huge variety of Indonesian and Western dishes, all fresh and delicious. Highly recommended for a relaxing family getaway!"
