Cosmopolitan Boutique Rambla

I recently stayed at this accommodation from September 9th to 10th, though I initially booked for four nights (September 8th to 12th). Due to travel issues, I arrived a day late, but upon checking in, I was immediately disappointed by what I found.The property is advertised as a "boutique hotel," but it is, at best, a nice hostel with private rooms and bathrooms. There was no reception available after 4 p.m., and no one in charge to maintain security. In fact, I witnessed someone opening the front door to take out the trash, and I was able to enter without being questioned, which left me feeling unsafe. I spent a restless night, waking up every hour or two to check on my belongings due to the lack of security. I decided to check out the next morning, two days early, and requested a refund for the remaining nights. Unfortunately, the receptionist struggled with English and referred me to someone over the phone, who advised me to send an email. When I followed up via email, the manager responded rudely, refusing my refund request and dismissing my concerns about false advertising and inadequate security.This was a highly disappointing experience, and I would not recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for a genuine boutique hotel experience or a secure environment. There are many better options in the same price range that offer far superior service and safety.

We arrived to the HOSTEL (misleading btw that it’s a boutique hotel) at noon and it was a bit difficult to understand where it was. It's basically a residential building that is converted to different rooms. When we entered the bedroom and checked the beds, they had BLACK SPOTS under the mattress. It looked like MOULD that has spread out for sometime. The beds and sheets were dirty. When we asked the housekeeper she called another guy that we spoke to on the phone, and he explained this was a cigarette burn that they knew about! It was absolutely not a cigarette burn, but mould. When asked what we can do about it he said we should stay there because it isn't dangerous. Because we had small children we insisted in either changing the room or getting a refund. He insisted there is nothing we could do about and basically swore at us and hung up the phone. We had to check out and find another hotel (with no mould and nicer staff). This is the worst hotel we've ever stayed at, and it's definitely a scam.

we had a great stay! room is always clean! the staff is great! the hotel is near at metro station! they have a pastry and coffee shop outside its called mauri ! for dinner theres a lot of restaurant near the hotel! its near at casa batlo and shopping store like gucci/fendi etc etc

Small but clean room, unfortunately a lot of noise from the street - access after 4 p.m. only via code - no breakfast service and coffeemachine was not functioning - parking at a reduced rate in the parking garage was proposed in an email, but reservation was not possible and compensation for parking costs was ultimately not possible. Disappointed with the overall service.

The Hotel has no sign outside on the street, and was difficult for me, and my local driver, to find, but -- once I found the building and the entrance, and a gracious neighbor in the building let me in and showed me the door to the lobby (even that internal door was not marked well), I found one of the most attractive, comfortable, clean and well-appointed hotel rooms I have ever stayed in at this price (or at twice the price). The neighborhood is safe and beautiful and convenient for walking to restaurants, shopping and Las Ramblas. The hotel staff (though rarely seen) were helpful and friendly. There is no reception desk, so no one there to help with taxis, etc. Arriving and leaving are a challenge, but I am certain I would stay again.

Bed was comfortable but room was terrible. Breakfast was very good because of the young woman who handled set up and cooking. A very disappointing 4 days. The shower wall was against the bed; you had to climb into bed from the foot of bed, terrible street noise. As room was so small and no place to put your clothes or suitcases, we lived in a total mess for 4 nights

We are happy that we choosed this hotel, because IT had everything we wanted to: 5 stare because- is centrally located but not quite in the noise of The city, like 1 min walking to casa Milla, 5stars for the room, the bed and the litlle garden : we celt homy, cosy, 5 stare for the breakfast: it was delicious and we found what we needed, especially our girl (5years) who loves fresh fruits and She ate berries, blackberies, melon, etc They helped me with a cake surprise for my husband, on his birthday.. we don' t have anything bad tot say, really, and we definitely will come back here Next time!❤️

good location on the rambla catalunya. the metro station is 20 m away. clean, tidy rooms, excellent service. breakfast perfect. check in and check out very simple. the hosts are very kind. We stay 6 days and we will come again. I love Barcelona

Right on top of the Ramblas de Catalunya, the location could hardly be better for local food choices and visiting the City's top sights. This comes at a price as local bin men and others work through the night to clean up for the next day's tourists. I noticed some earplugs as I entered the room which should have been a giveaway. However, that's just the rough and tumble of a cheap city centre hotel. I wouldn't return because I couldn't get in and out of the shower (room 8). The door was so small I could barely squeeze myself in (once installed it was fine) and the only way to get out was to almost throw myself wet onto onto the floor. It just wasn't fit for purpose which was a shame because the hotel was clean, tidy and otherwise good value
