Great hotel in the heart of Bari. The train station is one step away from where you can travel anywhere. The staff is kind and helpful. The room is cultured, clean and comfortable. The restaurant is great although we only had breakfast. I don't give 5 points for one reason. The air conditioner in the room is very cold, it cannot be setup, we switched it to warmer and after a few seconds it returned to the original temperature. The location of the hotel is not in the best neighborhood. This massive city center with all its peculiarities. Like dirt, dog excrement on the street, graffiti and suspicious figures. However, the transport is very good from here to wherever you go.

We found this baby accidentally I have to say we found very good. That kind boy who answered us at the phone and then welcomed us at our arrival. Extremely spacious room is very clean. Super breakfast made in the bar under Jerome with cappuccino and scream flirts 😋. Also very comfortable because the conventional parking 2 minutes walk is perfect. It will be our first choice when we come back to Bari. The only advice I give to the property is to have an additional eye on the maintenance and use of things in the room but really simple things. It’s a clean and well organised place with high ceiling rooms that are pretty inviting. Check in works via a link and requires a mobile internet connection for the first check in. That works well if you have a SIM card with internet access if not, then you should plan for it. We had a two room apartment for three people. The smaller room was a walk through to get to the bathroom. The bathroom looks newly renovated and was clean. The door is foldable though and very thin. The kitchen us shared with others and has some basic utensils (not for big cooking). The location is quite and rather central. So you get to the old part of town in ca 10 minutes and the central train station in 15 minutes.

Hotel molto bello stile antico personale molto gentile è pazientoso tutto identico come descritto nella descrizione camera con tutti i comfort possibili percorso SPA anche molto bello ci ritornerei tranquillamente lo consiglio per chi voglia fare un viaggio nel barese. 😊

Sono rimasto soddisfatto sicuramente per l'accoglienza del personale, la camera era ben arredata, e la colazione di ottima qualità. Sicuramente sarà la mia priorità per la mia prox uscita.

I warmly recommend Zodiacus Residence. Everything was very good. Starting from the fact that the location is excellent, right in the middle of the city, close to all the city's attractions. Restaurants, bars, cafes, all are a stone's throw from the location. The rooms, which have a vintage atmosphere, are very clean. The staff deals with this aspect on a daily basis. The rooms are equipped with everything you need, including a small kitchen where you can prepare a breakfast. There you will find an electric stove, a small electric oven, a refrigerator and everything else you need. I traveled with two families who had children aged 9 and 12. It was also very useful for them to be able to prepare a breakfast for them. Our host was very kind. She helped us with any information we requested. We will gladly return to Zodiacus Residence.

We have just returned from Riva after 7 nights. We stayed in a self catering apartment. There is no kettle or toaster. Boiling water on the stove but no grill pan as an alternative for making toast. We realised as soon as we arrived its in the middle of nowhere and there is nothing at all within walking distance. They asked were we hiring a car (around €250 for 3 days) but i declined as driving to Bari & back of an evening meant i couldnt have a drink. I go away to relax with a cocktail not drive everywhere :) The bus to giovinazza is 10-15 mins we had to do this when we needed a shop for bread/milk/water etc. The bus to Bari is 30 mins we had to do this each night to go out for our evening meal & drinks. There is an onsite pizzeria & restaurant which serves only fish. The hotel is lovely staff friendly & helpful (mostly) and the private beach made up for the fact it was so remote. It is stunning so we went to the beach each day (€5 each per day) We tried to go to the pool on day one but the lifeguard took our temperature (covid 19) and said “uh oh!” Apparently it was too high (also 30 degree sunshine) so we couldnt sit by the pool!! .. yet we went to the beach every day where our temperature wasnt high once. Mmm?? Prices in the hotel are very reasonable for food & drink. Fresh fruit & the berry slushes are gorgeous!! Overall we had a lovely stay but sadly its location is too far out having to get the bus every night also the last one at 10pm so couldnt enjoy our evening & stay out got a little tedious and would prevent me from going back again.

The Italian-style breakfast is good, with a wide variety of fruits. The breakfast is offered on the 6th floor, with an incomparable sea view. The location is also good. It's on the corner of the old town and the seaside. The hotel does not have a parking lot but provides a valet parking service, which costs 25 euros per night.

Yes, some reviews state that this hotel is a bit away from the city center and you need a car. Dont even think about it because you will be spending a huge amount of time finding a parking space in the center...and you probably wont. Taxi is 10 euro to the old city and by the way...taxifare from airport is fixed....25 euro. Now about the Nicolaus Hotel. Top class service and smiling people everywhere and in every department, from professional and fast check in, really funny guys serving in the bar and proff behaviour in the spa,- which by the way is really nice. Breakfirst is in a totally different leaugue than you would expect from a 4 star hotel. Waiters everywhere to take your order (included) on everything you may not find in the buffet. Breakfirst is a real 6 star experience. We even asked to check out 2 hours later just to make it comply with our taxi to the airport and of course no problem. Thank you very much to everyone at The Niclaus Hotel....there are places 1-2 hours away from Bari that we didnt make this time around so I expect us to be back shortly.
