Captain David Kelley House Bed & Breakfast

I love the eggs Benedict for brunch. The guys think of everything to make ones stay memorable. 24 hour coffee and tea. The scones are magnificent and served in a spectacular way every day. Beds are supremely comfortable. We have tried three separate rooms so far and all are spectacular. We hope to return and always stay at the Captain David Kelley House. Rick and Tom are hosts extraordinaire. We love them.

We travelled from Ottawa Canada to visit Captain David Kelley House specifically and it did not disappoint!!! Thoughtful, well appointed rooms and common areas. Delicious and entertaining "Scone Wars" at breakfast. The best hosts ever in Rick and Tom. These gentlemen are the best. They are warm, welcoming and are eager to assist in any way they can. The home and grounds are simply gorgeous. Never got tired of looking at the flowers. If you are planning to visit Cape Cod, don't miss out on this gem!

This charming bed and breakfast exceeded expectations in every way. The hosts were incredibly welcoming, and their beautifully decorated house perfectly blends historic charm with modern comfort. The highlight? Breakfast, where freshly baked scones stole "the show" with their perfect balance of flakiness and flavor. And when I say perfect, I mean life-changing scones. The location is perfect for exploring Cape Cod's beaches and towns, yet the house itself is very peaceful and quiet. For a memorable getaway with delightful hosts and an unforgettable breakfast, look no further.

Our stay with Rick and Tom was marvelous. Gracious, comfortable and so relaxing. We needed this respite badly and they delivered!! Now that we are home, we are wishing they could deliver scones right to our door! All of this and the rhododendrons were a glorious show!!

We can't say enough about our stay with Rick and Tom in the beautiful historical BnB! It is in a great location, close to shopping, dining and ice cream. The house is spacious, the porches are lovely and the scones are something to write home about...hardest part was deciding who made the best ones! The rooms are comfortable and beautifully decorated. We will definately go back and spend more time!

Staying at the Captain David Kelley House was one of the highlights of our trip. The entire house and grounds were just magical. It was obvious that a lot of thought was put into every detail. Rick and Tom were the perfect hosts. Breakfasts were wonderful and included Rick's and Tom's special touches (you'll have to book a stay to find out what I mean!). I was traveling with my adult daughter who is vegan, and Rick and Tom accommodated her deliciously! Our room was spacious, beautiful, quiet and clean. Everything was wonderful!

We loved our stay. We booked last minutes and with no expectations, what we found was a wonderful experience and an Inn we will visit again. Inn is well kept, decorated to what we envisioned for the period. Landscaping was very nice and calming if you take the time to relax for a bit away from the beach and shopping. We stayed in Phebe Room, which has an interesting story, that I will save for when you visit. Beds and pillows were very nice, the room was very clean and bright. We cannot speak higher of the breakfast that is included. 3 well proportioned courses were all excellent and made fresh by Rick and Tom. The special guests that joined us for breakfast was an unexpected surprise making everyone enjoy the food just a bit more. Rick and Tom were very welcoming and accommodating, two very pleasant gentlemen who have been running the Inn for 16 year! Thank You for your attention to every detail and your suggestions/recommendations. The scones were incredible…though our vote will have to wait for our next visit. We absolutely loved our (too short of a) stay! The David Kelly room is amazing, the bed is giant and so comfortable. The highlight for us were the breakfasts, naturally. Rick and Tom obviously love what they do, have endless amounts of energy and creativity. We look forward to our next visit.

had such a fun and great experience at the captain david kelley house! rick and tom were so welcoming , kind and fun! not only do you get breakfast and great scones but you also get some great entertainment ! am definitely going to visit again and recommend to friends and family
