"Star rating would actually be “0” if that was possible. The worse hotel experience I have had in 30 years! Hotel is poorly manned, poorly maintained, and poorly run! Staff seem to be bumbling, not sure what to do when confronted with normal issues! Checked in and of the two electronic keys, only one worked and after a hour of trying to figure out what to do, the receptionist said the only fix was to move to another room! Ordered the daily room service only to find out the woman who checked us in did not add us to the daily room cleaning after telling us she did! Avoid the hotel at all costs! It definitely looks from the curb, but the minute you enter you are confronted with a very strange smell."

"My husband and I had to do a last minute vacation change when New Orleans was hit by a hurricane. We scrambled to find a place to stay on the internet. I came across the Lamb and Lion Inn and I am so glad I did! Lauren the owner is very personable and helpful in planning things to do. She recommended a whale watching trip and even booked it for us while we were traveling. The boat ride was amazing as we encountered Mama and baby humpback whales that breached over and over again. We also encountered a giant pod of dolphins that followed the boat for quite awhile. She also recommended the Mattakeese Wharf restaurant which was to die for! The Inn itself was great. Our room was cozy and charming. We had tons of room to relax and a wooded lot to watch the wildlife. We had a wonderful experience all around. Thanks Lauren!"

"Sea Street Inn deserves each and every 5 star review it gets. First off, the breakfasts. Spectacular: elaborate, yet simple preparations by trained chef, satisfying without being too much - a culinary adventure. Next - attentive, personal service: innkeeper guided our activities & destinations & gave us good advice. Third- setting, relatively small (typically Cape Cod) building on a spacious lot, just minutes walk from a public beach. Great stay & memorable experience."

"We slept at Ocean View for 1 night on our way home from a work trip in Boston. Still in off season so it was very quiet. May have been 3-4 room rented of what looked to be 8-10 total. Checked in with Lauren over the phone. Key was waiting for us as she said it would be. We had room #2, 1st floor, partial ocean view. Everything was clean, on the small side, but suitable for our needs. Unfortunately it was rainy and foggy our entire time there, but we were able to get a good night's sleep before driving home the next day. Especially appreciated the recommendation to try The Black Cat Tavern for dinner, which was great too!"

"Not very recommendable, very expensive with poor facilities and services. We found dirty sheets and a sock under the covers! Really horrible! Unfortunately it was very late and we couldn't do anything since the reception closes in the evening. The tub with the usual terrible curtain didn't let the water down and you had to soak your feet up to your ankles and the nightmare doesn't end... broken air conditioning that let out hot air! Open window and a lot of noise from outside. Noticed as a real nightmare! In the morning they took care of the repairs and in fact in the (unfortunately second night, it was already paid for) everything was back. Apologies made but they couldn't fix the damage suffered. I would never go back there again."
