"This is a courtyard-style hotel, beautifully situated halfway up the mountain. Robert checked us in with excellent and incredibly patient service, explaining all the hotel facilities and nearby attractions. I was extremely pleased with the room upon entering; it was wonderfully cool and comfortable because the air conditioning had been turned on in advance. The room was also very spacious, and the cleanliness was top-notch. Any service we needed was promptly delivered by staff, and even our takeaways were brought to the room by a robot! The hotel felt very safe and secure. I saw a swimming pool below my room, but unfortunately, my itinerary was too packed to enjoy it. I would definitely stay here again if I get the chance."

"The hotel is located within Tianya Town. Due to town regulations, whether driving or taking a taxi, you can only reach the entrance and then walk in or take a sightseeing buggy. During the day, it's 5 RMB per person, and an extra 1 RMB is added after midnight. We drove there, and Sanya was just a one-night stopover for us before an early morning flight the next day. We weren't aware of the town's regulations beforehand, so when we heard we couldn't drive directly to the hotel, I was a bit uneasy and regretted booking here. However, once we arrived and I saw the sea view from the lobby while checking in, I pretty much forgave the inconvenience of not being able to drive to the door. 😀 Since we were only staying one night, we hadn't booked a sea-view room initially. But after seeing the sea-view rooms next door, we immediately upgraded our room type, which made everything perfect. 😂 The hotel's location is excellent, right on the beach, and there are many dining options nearby. The hotel also has its own sea-view restaurant, and the prices aren't too expensive. The hotel even offers travel photography services, but we didn't have time this trip. During the day, you can do paddleboarding at the beach, and the beach is lively at night. This trip was more of a quick stop to check things out; next time, we'll stay for a few more days to truly enjoy it. Also, a big shout-out to the hotel staff who were very enthusiastic and explained everything clearly. 👍"

"The hotel staff were incredibly helpful and warm, making the check-in process very efficient. Our room was spotless, with a great wet/dry bathroom setup and soft, breathable bedding. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of options, including authentic Hainanese noodles which were delicious. The zipline was a thrilling experience! Staff members always greeted guests with a friendly hello and were quick to assist with any requests. Overall, the environment was comfortable and relaxing, with excellent facilities, perfect for both families and couples."

"An unexpectedly stunning seaview B&B! 😎 The service was excellent, very accommodating and helpful. They offered water upon arrival, and the room's AC was already on, making it wonderfully cool. Cleanliness-wise, it seemed quite clean, no major issues. The environment was incredibly serene and therapeutic. The balcony offered an unobstructed sea view; you could open the doors completely and gaze directly at the ocean. Even from bed, you could enjoy the sea view, despite the hot and sunny weather. The B&B has a beautiful common swimming pool that guests can use. The open-plan lobby on the first floor is super photogenic and a great spot to relax and watch the sea. There's a laundry room on the top floor with two washing machines (no dryer), but laundry detergent is provided. There are also facilities for hanging clothes, and given the hot summer sun, clothes hung at night were dry by the next morning. A slight inconvenience is that the seaside town where the B&B is located is not accessible by car. If you're driving, you'll need to park in a designated parking lot (40 per day max), walk a few minutes to the tourist shuttle pick-up point, and then take the shuttle to the hotel. This was the only somewhat troublesome part. I booked the Azure Open Terrace Seaview King Room on the fifth floor, which has an elevator. The room's AC was powerful and kept it very cool, and the shower water pressure was decent. The Laifen hairdryer was a great touch. Check-in is at 2 PM and check-out at 12 PM. Since it wasn't a holiday, there weren't many people. During the off-season, it was only around 500-600, which is excellent value for money."

Opened in 2023, the Hyatt Regency Sanya Tianli Bay is a great accommodation choice in Sanya. Traveling to the hotel is easy with Tianyahaijiao Railway Station located approximately 3km away and Sanya Phoenix International Airport roughly 7km away. There is no shortage of things to see in the area, with the Xidao Diving Base, Love Stone and Sea sightseeing cruise all nearby. After a long day of sightseeing, guests can retire to the comfort of the hotel. This Sanya hotel provides parking on site. There's never a dull moment at this hotel, our guests indicate that the facilities are excellent. This hotel is particularly popular with those traveling with families.
"I originally wanted to switch to the Hilton in Yalong Bay for a different experience, but after just one night, I regretted it. The facilities there were a bit old and it was crowded; the overall experience wasn't as good as expected. My whole family unanimously decided: back to the Hyatt! The moment we returned, my family lay on the balcony sofa, feeling the familiar sea breeze, and exclaimed: This is so much better! And there's the familiar, thoughtful service – our butler Momo was consistently enthusiastic. We extended our stay by two more nights this time, and the longer we stayed, the more we realized our first choice was indeed the best one. That night in Yalong Bay was just a learning experience; for the rest of our holiday, we happily entrusted ourselves to the Grand Hyatt Haitang Bay. Thank you, Momo, and thank you, Hyatt, for repeatedly confirming that we made the right choice. Next time we come to Sanya, no more fussing around – we'll head straight here!"

"The room was good value for money; cheap but as you’d expect for this price It was a little dated. The room was clean and the cleaner came in daily to make the bed and add fresh toilet products which was a nice touch. The location was very good, short walk to the beach and bars. The view was pretty good too! Only issue is the aircon, if like me, you like your room cold like a fridge you’ll be disappointed, however, it was comfortable."

Guests have plenty of activities to keep them busy with swimming, beach volleyball, tanning, diving, snorkeling, massage, table tennis and chess and cards games in the game room.
"Facilities: The hotel is beautifully decorated, and the rooms have private balconies with direct sea views. The hotel is divided into sections A and B. Rooms come with free sand-digging tools for children. Cleanliness: The room was very clean, not a speck of dust. The duvet and pillows had been changed. Environment: The hotel is really close to the beach, and the swimming pool is also on the way to the beach. You can get free swim rings at the pool. Service: Upon entering the hotel lobby, staff greeted us and helped with our luggage. Since we arrived early, we checked our luggage at the front desk first, then went out for a meal, and checked in upon our return. Check-in was very quick. Breakfast: The breakfast spread was excellent, especially the Western options. This is likely due to the large number of international guests."

GGuest UserHaving experienced the InterContinental Sanya Haitang Bay, and considering our itinerary, I decided to try the InterContinental Sanya Haitang Bay. The day before our check-in, Kaylee from guest relations proactively contacted me to confirm the details and made thoughtful arrangements for us. 👍 On the day of our check-in, it was pouring rain in Haitang Bay. We were stuck with our luggage in the duty-free shop, watching the rain show no signs of stopping. I contacted Kaylee to ask if the hotel could send someone to pick us up. Kaylee informed me that the hotel didn't have vehicles that could go to the duty-free shop. However, the hotel staff later sent umbrellas for us, helped us move our luggage to the hotel's side entrance, and then the hotel shuttle took us to the lobby. 👍 The hotel lobby is much larger than the InterContinental Sanya Dadonghai, and the overall scale feels comparable to the Westin Wanning/Lingshui. The room was spacious, bright, and comfortable. The fruit was delicious, and the room was equipped with Baishui Mountain mineral water, with Pure Enjoyment still water for refills. During our stay, whenever I contacted Kaylee, she responded immediately and acted quickly, even when she was off duty, which was impressive! So nice! 👍 Before coming, I learned that the hotel has a large fish tank with many fish, including sea turtles and manta rays. So, I took my child to the viewing tunnel on B2. My child was deeply fascinated by the fish, especially when they saw a giant grouper. My child blurted out, ”Look, fish 2.0!” I was puzzled, and my child explained it was like ”oil tanker 2.0,” with a bunch of smaller fish (like planes) following it. 🤭 We also saw a mermaid show. However, due to the distance of the performance area and limited visibility at the bottom of the tank, we could only see silhouettes. Fortunately, there were pictures of the mermaid show on the tunnel wall, which allowed me to explain it to my child in detail. The entire tunnel wall was covered with科普资料 (scientific information) about various fish, allowing for both viewing and learning. 👍 The tunnel also had multiple observation windows, so you could find your best viewing angle. 👍 The hotel boasts a vast lawn. Looking out, the skyline, the ocean, the greenery, and the lawn were truly refreshing. 👍 The waves in Haitang Bay are indeed strong and powerful, far exceeding those in Wanning and Lingshui. The beach quality is much better than Yalong Bay. We even encountered crabs during the day. 🤗 The breakfast restaurant was spacious, with ample seating. Even during peak hours, we didn't see guests waiting in line. The breakfast spread was rich, and they even offered specialty Xinglong coffee. The lobby staff were enthusiastic and all smiles. Seeing us with our luggage, they proactively helped us move it. 👍 Big kudos again to Kaylee from guest relations! 👍 And kudos to the hotel for its excellent service! 👍

We had a dedicated 24-hour butler, Zheng Delin, who was incredibly responsive to all our needs. For our anniversary, he even arranged a complimentary room setup, which was a lovely touch and added to the special occasion. The resort boasts a secluded private bay, with hardly any outside visitors. The sunsets over the ocean in the evening were romantic and therapeutic, and the happy hour at the beach bar created a fantastic atmosphere. Every room is equipped with Banyan Tree's signature aromatherapy toiletries, and upon check-in, we received a special welcome gift and fresh fruit. The floating afternoon tea experience was exceptional. The resort's buggies are available for pick-up and drop-off at any time, ensuring a smooth and uncrowded experience. It's truly a luxurious choice for couples on their honeymoon or anyone looking for a relaxing escape, far from the hustle and bustle of crowds.

Kkathy6699I've visited Sanya many times, and if you're not planning on swimming in the ocean, Atlantis Sanya in Haitang Bay is the perfect choice. The waves in Haitang Bay are strong and there are rip currents, so swimming in the sea isn't allowed. However, the hotel offers a waterpark, aquarium, C Show, dolphin encounters, and sea turtle encounters, ensuring your schedule is packed every day. The C Show is complimentary for two during your stay, and all other activities offer unlimited access. Plus, our room came with a butler, Xiaoma, who was always available to help with any issues 👍. During our stay, I lost my ID at the waterpark, and a staff member named Ken found it and contacted me immediately to return it 👍. The hotel has two breakfast restaurants, and the breakfast here is much better than all the hotels in Yalong Bay 👍. All rooms have sea views with an open panorama facing Wuzhizhou Island. The biggest advantage is the high floors, which make swimsuits dry quickly 👍. I love swimming and playing in the water, so I always bring at least two swimsuits. Here, my swimsuit dried in just 30 minutes 👍! Next time, I'll try staying in a Royal Club room...

CChenqiyuezailvxingThe butler service at Grand Hyatt Sanya was incredibly thoughtful. Upon arrival, we were given two coconuts and a welcome fruit platter, which was a lovely gesture. They also upgraded us to a Deluxe Seaview King Room with an amazing view. The room itself was super spacious and comfortable. The hotel has three pools; they're quite shallow, making them perfect for kids, though not ideal for someone tall like me. Still, it's great if you're traveling with family. The private beach has a bar and music – it's so relaxing to just lie there, spaced out with a drink. The resort grounds are huge, so expect to walk at least 10,000 steps daily, but thankfully there are electric carts (6-8 seater and 4-6 seater) for transfers every 7-8 minutes. Walking takes only about 5-6 minutes, so it's quite convenient. The only downside is how hot it gets during the day; outdoor activities are really only comfortable for a couple of hours in the morning and evening. Breakfast was incredibly rich, with a full spread of Chinese and Western options, an overwhelming variety of fruits, and even Shakshuka – I couldn't eat it all! Overall, it's a perfect place for a relaxing family getaway!

GGuest UserOverall, it's a great hotel, as expected from a Marriott property, located right next to luxury hotels like the Grand Hyatt, JW Marriott, and Atlantis. Getting to the beach is super convenient, though the waves at Haitang Bay are quite strong, making it unsuitable for swimming. While the facilities aren't brand new, they are well-maintained. There's a free shuttle bus to the duty-free shop, which is very handy. The staff were excellent throughout, with our butler, Tudou, providing incredibly thoughtful service. We had a couple of minor issues during our stay, but they were all resolved smoothly and promptly. It's also very convenient for visiting Wuzhizhou Island, and the nearby snack street is fantastic, offering everything from Zao Po Cu hotpot to coconut chicken. The breakfast spread is quite varied, with local specialties like Hou'an noodles and pickled rice noodles available every day. I'd definitely come back again if I have the chance!

GGuest UserThe room was quite peaceful, facing the sea with a beautiful view. However, we had to keep the dehumidifier on constantly, and it happened to be an exceptionally humid few days during our stay. A huge thank you to Chris for their meticulous service! They added me on WeChat a day in advance, sent restaurant recommendations and local attraction routes near the hotel. During our stay, any help we needed was met with a quick response. After checking in, we went straight to have 'zaopo cu' hot pot, and while we were eating, Chris brought us our room card, and our luggage had already been delivered to our room – truly appreciate it! Because it was so hot, we spent most of our days at the hotel. The Chinese restaurant on the G floor was excellent; the shrimp, fish, and soups were all delicious. They even gave us salted egg yolk zongzi for the Dragon Boat Festival. The dessert shop opposite the front desk was also good; the 'qingbuliang' (a local dessert soup) was better than the one we made ourselves at breakfast, haha. Housekeeping was also very timely with daily cleaning. The swimming pool didn't have arm floats for adults, but luckily, I brought my own swimming ring and just needed to inflate it there.

GGuest UserAs a second-row hotel in Yalong Bay, the Yingbinguan isn't directly beachfront, but it's just across the road, so walking to the beach is convenient. The key is its incredible value for money; for just over 1,000 RMB, you get an infinity pool room that's clean and tidy. I stayed here two years ago and chose it again this year. Why? Mainly because the hotel's service surpasses even some first-tier brands. The shuttle bus is available on demand, and Cici, our butler, provided exceptional service throughout, fulfilling every request. When we ordered takeout late at night, she personally arranged for staff to deliver it to our door. This level of service alone is worth half the room rate! Guys, book this place without hesitation! If the hotel happens to see this review, my only small suggestion is: while the service is already incredibly thoughtful, the hotel should consider providing a few chairs for the front desk staff so they can sit when not actively assisting guests. Standing for over ten hours a day is truly exhausting, and the hotel should also demonstrate necessary humanistic care for its own team. Hope to see you again!

GGuest UserThe room with a sea view was absolutely beautiful, clean, and comfortable. A special thank you to Ms. Coral for arranging such a satisfactory room for me! Yalong Bay is perfect for those who prefer peace and quiet, and the hotel is just a five-minute walk to the beach, making it ideal for families with young children. I used to always visit Yalong Bay, but this time I tried a hotel in Haitang Bay. While it was newer, it was a bit further from the beach and more suited for families with older kids and a livelier atmosphere. Personally, I much prefer Yalong Bay! The only downside of this trip was Wuzhizhou Island. The hotel there was incredibly old, and we barely saw any other guests in the corridors, yet the staff claimed it was fully booked. Later, out of curiosity, I learned that Wuzhizhou Island only has about 250 rooms open to guests at any given time, so who exactly was staying there? It was quite creepy, and I felt like we were the only ones on our floor… I barely slept all night because the mosquito coils were completely useless, and my child kept getting bitten by mosquitoes. Just how many mosquitoes were there?!

GGuest UserExtremely satisfied with this hotel, it's definitely a hidden gem in Yalong Bay offering incredible value for money! The best thing about this hotel is how convenient it is to go for a swim at the beach, and the public beach area is also beautiful. The 'glass sea' in Yalong Bay is truly stunning and so clear! On my first day swimming, I saw little fish swim past me! What an incredible experience! The breakfast was also very good! I will definitely be back to this hotel!!

GGuest UserOur stay at Wanda Realm during this Sanya trip far exceeded our expectations! The hotel is situated in a prime location in Haitang Bay, just a few minutes' walk from the pristine white sand beach, and the ocean views are absolutely stunning. We booked a sea-view room, and the scenery was fantastic, plus the room was spotless. The breakfast spread was also very generous. Our butler, Linna, provided exceptional service as well. Overall, we were extremely satisfied with our stay.
