"Ambiance: The scenery is absolutely stunning! Stepping out onto the balcony from the French windows and being right in front of the sea is just incredibly relaxing. Cleanliness: The room was very clean and spacious. Facilities: All the amenities you could ask for, including hot springs, a heated pool, a restaurant, and a coffee shop. Service: The staff were very welcoming and enthusiastic."

"Had a fantastic stay! The hotel offers free shuttle service, and the rooms are very spacious. Staying in a sea-view room, sitting on the balcony listening to the waves and enjoying a beer was incredibly therapeutic. We booked a package with breakfast and dinner included, and dinner was excellent. After our meal, we went to the large public bath on the second floor for a hot spring soak. There's also a lounge on the sixth floor with complimentary snacks, drinks, and beer. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time!"

"We were extremely satisfied with our stay at this hotel in Atagawa. Every corner of the hotel was thoughtfully decorated, and the staff were very welcoming. The same young man handled both check-in and check-out, and we communicated fluently in English throughout. He provided detailed information, and since we hadn't booked dinner, he proactively recommended several nearby restaurants and local specialties. We even tried the nearby restaurants ”Nishiki” and ”Oboro.” He was especially considerate when we checked out, offering to drive us to the station – a very thoughtful gesture. During our stay, we also enjoyed the two outdoor onsen rooms on the third floor. Soaking in the hot spring while listening to the sound of the waves was truly relaxing. I highly recommend experiencing this hotel in Atagawa."

"If you don't mind the aging of the facilities and the lack of cleanliness, and only prioritize the ocean view, feel free to book this hotel. The stunning ocean view, visible from the curtains, is its biggest advantage. While it's not cheap, it's not expensive in that area. Before booking, I knew this was a very old hotel, and other guests had mentioned the grimy windows, but I still booked it because I valued the stunning ocean view. After checking in, I felt that even a first-tier ocean view couldn't offset the negative experience I had with the basics and hygiene. For example, the washbasin leaked very slowly, and after washing my face, all the foamy water would accumulate in the basin, taking a long time to drain out, making it look filthy. The bathtub, on the other hand, was a complete waste; I didn't dare use it. There were all sorts of unidentified marks on the low table in the room. I suspect it was from guests dining in the room with two meals a night. There was also an unidentified odor in the room, a bit like cigarettes but not quite, possibly related to the dining experience. We had three beds, two single beds, and a mattress on the other. The quilt was a floral quilt, a rare sight in China. The fabric was poor quality, and most importantly, it made me itch when I used it. I guess it hadn't been cleaned in ages and had simply been piled up in the guest room closet. The quilt on the single bed was the hotel's standard solid-color quilt, so my husband and I shared the single bed for both nights. Also, I don't know if there was rust or something inside the water dispenser; I was afraid to drink the water after seeing it. Let's talk about the service. When I checked in, I saw an elderly man and woman at the front desk who were probably over 80 years old. We communicated with each other through translation software. Check-in went smoothly, but I booked a standard double room with four tatami mats and no bed. I didn't want a bed, but I was still assigned a room with a bed. This was considered an upgrade, but no one told me about this. I didn't want to embarrass the elderly man and woman, so I didn't mention it to them. When I checked out, I told the front desk that I needed a shuttle bus. I saw the front desk went to find a colleague, and it turned out that the elderly man was washing coffee cups. He dropped his work and took us to Atagawa Station. So although there were few waiters, I felt the service was okay those two days."

"This was my first solo trip to Japan, and it was a spontaneous decision. Due to my procrastination, I only started booking accommodations two days in advance. Hotels near Izu Kogen and Atami were all booked, so I booked this place. But once I arrived, I felt incredibly comfortable. The hotel is in a very quiet location with beautiful scenery. The hotel facilities are also very new, and the staff are all incredibly warm and welcoming. There were Chinese ladies, as well as Japanese gentlemen and ladies. They were very polite, not in a distant or aloof way, but in a sunny, cheerful, and warm manner. Dinner was also delicious, with lobster, abalone, and many different ways of preparing golden snapper – it was all so fresh! In the morning, a soak in the hot spring is all it takes to head to Izu Kogen. I really, really want to come back here again. Personally, I don't want too many people to discover this wonderful hotel, as I'm worried I won't be able to book it later, but I still really hope they continue to improve."

"My parents were very satisfied with their stay. They enjoyed both the indoor and outdoor hot springs, and we also had beer and Udon. The breakfast spread included plenty of vegetables too. Apart from the bad weather on the day we visited, everything else was fantastic. Absolutely great value for money!"

"This is the best hotel for this trip to Japan, and it is also the hotel with the best value for money. I will stay here for a few more days if I have the chance. The hotel is on a cliff by the sea, with new facilities and a sense of design. The rooms, restaurant and hot springs are decorated and arranged very carefully. All of them are sea view rooms, and the windows are large floor-to-ceiling glass, with an unobstructed view of the sea view, which is very enjoyable. The restaurant's breakfast and dinner ingredients are fresh, and the ingredients and plating are very particular. The main focus is on seafood, and the portions are full. The staff is warm, thoughtful and meticulous in their service. The hotel also provides free shuttle bus service from Atagawa Station to the hotel. It is a very cost-effective hotel, highly recommended"

"Booked a room type with an open-air wind (think it is half-open-air?), the room is a traditional tatami  containing two bed specifications, the room is very large and comfortable. The meal is a semi-buffet dinner (including hot pot, salted abalone) and buffet breakfast (including Japanese, Western options, but mainly Japanese, grilled fish, pickles). It is mentioned that there was a little episode. I originally booked a room type without meals and no wind on other websites. After booking the current combination here, I cancelled the reservation there. But when I arrived, I arranged a room type without wind. The first time I was so grateful to a Chinese-speaking hotel staff, because the other front desk staff was older and did not speak English at all. After several communication, I changed to the room type I expected and got a very satisfying and comfortable stay. Because the room type has a wind, there is no use of the other loan cut wind, and the large bathing area that can be used in the museum. Can't share the experience. Also note that I rent a car to drive there, this is not a road with Shihua Haibenguan, but not very eye-catching, if you can't see the car, see Shihuahai Gate in front of the welcome staff can explain to him."

"This is a hotel where everything is just right. First of all, the hot spring has the wonderful quality of warming you from the core of your body, and there are several baths, including private baths, so I like it very much. The equipment does make me feel a bit old, but it is not dirty or anything like it, it creates a tasteful atmosphere. What I particularly like about this ryokan is the hospitality of the hotel, including the landlord’s wife, and the delicious food. The warm hospitality that starts when you arrive at the ryokan will not make you uncomfortable, but you can enjoy various things that make your time at the ryokan special. Speaking of cooking, it tastes better than any hotel or hotel I've been to, and I want to do it again, just to cook. Together with the hospitality and hot springs mentioned above, this is an element that makes this hotel wonderful. Of course, there may be other hotels and inns that offer more facilities, hospitality and food. However, I think there is something unpretentious here. Highly recommended for those who want to relax in an old Japanese country house without being pretentious."

"A quiet onsen town, with traditional Japanese rooms. It's slowly becoming commercialized, and fewer places offer dinner and breakfast served in your room these days. This stay, however, was a great experience. Since it was our anniversary, the staff even arranged for us to have a pair of mandarin ducks in our room. They took photos of us and gifted them to us at check-out, which was a lovely touch. We visited on a weekday, so the public bath felt almost like a private one. Enjoying the public bath all to ourselves, gazing at the ocean and listening to the waves, was incredibly relaxing. The hotel's shuttle bus is super convenient, getting guests to Izu-Atagawa Station in just a minute."
